Home Carer / Care Assistant (Bank) — Hounslow, Isleworth, Feltham, Twickenham and Richmond
Flexible hours in your local community, with the opportunity to move to a guaranteed-hours contract as the local team grows.
Aegys Smart Care is a CQC rated Good home care provider looking for caring, reliable people to join a new local team as a Home Carer. If you have a genuine desire to help others and make a positive difference, this role offers the chance to support people in their own homes, build real relationships and grow a meaningful career in care.
About the role
As a Home Carer you'll visit clients in their own homes across Hounslow, Isleworth, Feltham, Twickenham and Richmond, supporting them with everyday tasks that help them live safely, comfortably and independently.
You'll be part of a small, consistent care team built around each client, so you'll get to know the people you support and they'll get to know you. Visits are rostered locally to keep travel short, and visit times and care records are managed digitally, so there is no paperwork to carry.
This is a bank role. Hours are flexible and offered around the visits available in your area, with early mornings, evenings and weekends needed. As the patch grows, bank staff will be offered guaranteed-hours contracts first.
What you'll help with
- Companionship: being a friendly, familiar face
- Personal care: washing, dressing and grooming with dignity and respect
- Medication support: reminders and administration in line with the client's care plan
- Mealtimes: preparing meals and supporting with hydration
- Light domestic tasks: laundry, cleaning and tidying
- Shopping and errands
- Mobility: helping clients move around their home safely
What you'll need
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care or support role
- The right to work in the UK (this role is not eligible for sponsorship)
- A caring, patient and respectful attitude
- Good communication and a dependable, flexible approach
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential, as parts of the patch are well served by public transport
What you'll get
- £14.25 per hour
- Full induction and ongoing training, including Care Certificate support
- A local coordinator and 24/7 on-call support
All roles are subject to proof of right to work in the UK, satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
