Job Summary

Locations: Swindon & Southampton
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

experienced, motivated and compassionate Registered Managers to join our growing care services in Swindon and Southampton.

We are seeking strong leaders with experience in domiciliary care and/or supported living who can take responsibility for the safe, effective and person-centred delivery of services while supporting sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective day-to-day leadership and management of the service.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and fundamental standards.
  • Lead on assessments, care/support plans, risk assessments and regular reviews.
  • Oversee safeguarding, incidents, complaints and quality assurance.
  • Recruit, supervise, develop and manage care and support staff.
  • Monitor staffing levels, service capacity and operational KPIs.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, commissioners and other professionals.
  • Support the development and growth of domiciliary care and supported living services.
  • Ensure service users are supported to achieve meaningful outcomes, independence and community participation.
  • Participate in management on-call arrangements and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous management experience within health and social care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care requirements.
  • Experience of domiciliary care and/or supported living.
  • Ability to lead a service independently and make appropriate management decisions.
  • Strong safeguarding, care planning, risk management and quality-assurance knowledge.
  • Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care/Leadership and Management, or willingness to work towards an appropriate qualification.
  • Ability to meet CQC requirements for Registered Manager registration.
