 Spinal Injury Support worker

Location: London - Various Locations
Shifts:  Flexible working hours 
Salary: £13.73 - £15.81 per hour (with the ability to access a % of your earnings in just 4 days or less after completing shifts!)*

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in spinal injury care or a nursing background who wants to make a meaningful difference while working alongside specialist healthcare professionals. You’ll receive expert training and the opportunity to collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation clinicians and wider multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

? Providing personalised support and complex care to clients with spinal cord injuries.
? Supporting clients with personal care, mobility, moving and handling, toileting, medication management and daily routines.
? Assisting with meal preparation, feeding and maintaining food hygiene standards.
? Supporting clients to participate in social and recreational activities that promote independence and wellbeing.
? Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, high-quality care.
? Following care plans, policies, procedures and health & safety guidelines.
? Maintaining accurate client records and documentation.

Eligibility Criteria:


? Significant experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries or a background in Nursing.
? Experience delivering complex care within a person-centred approach.
? Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and professionals.
? Confident with moving and handling procedures and supporting clients with mobility needs.
? Ability to remain calm, professional and compassionate in challenging situations.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as part of a wider care team.
? Knowledge of health & safety, medication management, food hygiene and care documentation standards.
? Reliable, punctual and emotionally intelligent.

Desirable Skills:

? Full manual UK driving licence.
? Nursing background.
? Relevant NVQ qualification in Health & Social Care.
