Established to support adults across Southend, Meadows Home Care is a domiciliary care service designed to help people stay independent in their own homes. Developed by the experienced team of care professionals at Southend Care’s Complex Intervention Service – rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC – the new venture will support people living with a broad range of needs who need help to thrive at home.

From long-term disability to dementia care, the friendly and fully trained Meadows Home Care team will be providing daily support to ensure people can enjoy life at home. Offering a truly flexible approach, the team will develop a bespoke plan for each client, working around their care needs and requirements.

No job is too big or too small for the Meadows Home Care team. Meadow Home Care also supports people who need help with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and shaving, alongside overnight support.

Developed to give individuals and their families complete peace of mind at all times, the new visiting home care services prides itself on delivering first-class support. At Meadows Home Care, each carer will be dedicated to their clients, ensuring the utmost care and attention. The new service is now open for referrals, and people looking for care, or families looking for support for their loved ones, can find out more at here.

Speaking on the launch of the new services, Jessica Holmes, Service Manager at Meadows Home Care, added,

We are so excited to launch Meadows Home Care and open for referrals this week. We have worked incredibly hard to build a team of highly experienced care providers, and our mission is to provide the very best level of support and care to people living in their own homes in Southend.

We know how difficult it can be to ask for help, and choosing care is a huge decision. That is why we place compassion above everything, and our friendly carers will come to meet our clients and their families in person to discuss their needs and build a completely bespoke plan around their requirements. Our care is flexible around people’s unique needs – so whether you’re looking for a few hours for companionship or for our carers to stay overnight, we can help, adapting our approach to ensure we are always delivering the very highest quality home care.”

John Manzoni, Managing Director of Southend Care, Meadows Home Care and sister company, Brook Meadows House Care Home, added,

“Through Southend Care’s Complex Intervention Service, we have already been supporting people in Southend since 2017. Our team – rated Outstanding by the CQC – has now developed Meadows Home Care so we can support even more people in the borough.

With Meadows Home Care and Brook Meadows House Care Home, which opens for privately-funded residents in spring, Southend benefits from two new services designed to offer people care that’s right for them – whatever their care needs.

Whether individuals want to stay independent in their own homes or receive wrap-around care at our specialist care home, our new services provide much-needed quality care for local people.”

Meadows Home Care is based at Brook Meadows House on Burr Hill Chase. Developed through a unique partnership with Southend-On-Sea Borough Council and Southend Care, Brook Meadows House is a contemporary 60-bed home that offers short-stay and long-term residential care for older people with dementia and complex needs.
