Right at Home launch Dementia Choirs

The health benefits of music for those living with dementia has been recognised for many years and following the successful television series ‘Our Dementia Choir’ with Vicky McClure there is now a greater awareness of the disease and how music can help trigger positive feelings and build connections with other people.

Right at Home Havant & Petersfield have Launched two Dementia Choirs this year in the local area. One in Emsworth, held at the Pastoral Centre on the last Wednesday of each month and the other in Waterlooville, held at the Waterlooville Community Centre on the second Thursday of each month.

The sessions are very successful and an incredible event to be a part of.
