A family-run home care provider in Medway has been recognised among the best in the country after inspectors rated Azure Care Outstanding overall - a distinction held by fewer than 4% of providers nationwide*. T he Care Quality Commission (CQC) awarded Azure Care Outstanding in both Effective and Caring, making it the only provider in Medway to hold an overall Outstanding rating.

This achievement follows a year of significant sector recognition. Azure Care was named a finalist for Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year at the National Care Awards 2025. The organisation was also a finalist for Home Care Employer of the Year at the Great British Care Awards and won The 3Rs Award for the South East. The 3Rs Award celebrates excellence in recruitment, retention and recognition.

Inspectors praised the company’s culture of compassion, innovation, and continual improvement. Compliments from people using the service, relatives, and professionals were frequent and heartfelt describing Azure Care as “a silver lining” and staff as “superstars.”

Co-Founder Kiran Gill said: “We are proud to bring such high standards of care to Medway. This rating reflects the heart, skill and compassion our team brings to every visit. Outstanding care does not happen by chance. It happens because of genuine kindness and teamwork.”

Co-Founder & Managing Director, Parvinder Dusanj added: “Our focus has always been on empowering people to live well at home through technology, teamwork, and human connection. That’s what makes Outstanding care possible.”

Azure Care delivers home care, live-in, complex, and hospital discharge support across Medway and the surrounding areas. Its blend of person-centred support, digital care planning, and staff development has set a new benchmark for community-based care in Kent.

“Our clients inspire us daily,” said Parvinder. “This recognition reflects the trust families place in us, and our shared goal of bringing sunshine to people’s care.”
