Home Instead Watford is proud to announce its sponsorship of this year's Resourceful Women's Network International Women's Day celebration, taking place at Victoria Hall on Saturday 7th March from 11:00am to 4:00pm.
The annual event, organised by the Resourceful Women's Network, a registered charity supporting women in the local community, brings together inspiring guest speakers, arts and crafts sessions, creative stalls, handmade treasures, and a raffle, all under one roof. Entry is free and all are welcome.
Home Instead Watford will be hosting a stall on the day and delivering a talk covering two topics close to the team's heart: careers in care and falls prevention. It is an opportunity for anyone curious about working in the care sector to speak directly with the team, as well as for attendees to pick up practical advice on keeping older loved ones safe at home.
Stephanie Turner, Group Business Development Manager at Home Instead Watford, said: "International Women's Day is a moment to celebrate the incredible contribution women make in our communities and care is a sector that is shaped by women every single day.
We are delighted to be sponsoring this event and to have the chance to speak with people who may be thinking about a career in care, or who simply want to know more about how to support an older family member. We hope to see as many people as possible come along, it promises to be a wonderful day."
