Very happy with my carer. She is very helpful & kind. My freezer died yesterdat and she was so helpful in getting rid of the contents. So grateful that you sent her to me.
Thank you for your kind words, we are happy to hear we have found you a great match with your carer.
Thank you to all the team! Sadly my mum is now in a care home after a fall but should her health improve and she comes back to her address then I would definitely use Home Instead
We hope your mum...
Home Instead Watford have been providing care and supporting my Mum since March this year. We lost my Dad last year and Mum has suffered so many debilitating falls since then and has now been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I don't live locally so finding Home Instead Watford has been a lifeline for both of us; the understanding and empathy from the office team and carers has been exceptional who always consider my Mum's opinions and feelings. Despite her reluctance to have care she is now having regular calls and really likes the ladies especially her drive outs or sometimes a coffee stop, it gives her a sense of independence. The team have all been such a great source of support and I feel that they genuinely care for Mum. We have had a few problems with her health too and both the ladies in the office and carers have gone out of their way to ensure Mum has the medical support she needs as well as safe home. I can't recommend HIW highly enough.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means the world to us to know that your mum is feeling more comfortable with her visits and even enjoying her outings and coffee stops. Building trust and helping her keep that sense of independence is exactly what we hope to achieve. We're also so glad...
Home Instead Watford have been providing care for my Mum for the last couple of years. Initially she only needed a carer visit a couple of times a week, but more recently we have increased this to daily. They have been there to offer companionship, help her prepare an evening meal, and help her with any other daily tasks that she finds difficult. All of the carers that she has met have been lovely, very friendly and eager to help. And the office team have also been very helpful and flexible as Mum's needs have changed over time, in terms of both amending her care plan and suggesting ways that Mum can be better supported. The visits have definitely enhanced Mum's life over the last couple of years, and have enabled her to stay at home for longer than would otherwise have been possible. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone else needing to arrange care for themselves or loved ones.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that our carers have made a positive difference to your Mum's life and helped her stay at home comfortably. It means a lot to know that both our carers and office team have been able to support you through the changes in her needs. Your recommendation is truly appreciated.
Home Instead Watford has been providing care for my 99-year old mother for several years. We started using the service for housekeeping/cleaning, to take the strain off my mother who was caring for my terminally ill father. She now has Alzheimer's and her care needs have increased. The Care Pros still provide a cleaning service, but also 3 x daily personal care & wellbeing visits...these cover all aspects of personal hygiene, medication, hydration, supervising lunchtime meals-on-wheels and very importantly company & social interaction - the list of tasks is VERY long. The Care Pros all have their own styles and they provide thoughtful, professional care day-in-day-out. They have relieved me of much work and worry. The Watford office team is excellent: dealing with emergency situations, last minute changes to the schedule/care needs and feeding back concerns raised by the care pros. Nothing is too much trouble, communication is great and I feel totally supported. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're honoured to support your mother and your family, and it's wonderful to hear that our Care Professionals and office team have made a positive difference. Your feedback means a great deal to us, and we're committed to continuing the high standard of care you've come to rely on.Warm regards,The Home Instead Watford Team
I have received care from these carers over the 6 months I have been a client. Though three quite different characters have all treated me with respect, efficiency and friendship. We have enjoyed interesting conversations, and the time spent together each day has been well spent and cheerful.
Thank you for your kind words and wonderful review. We are so glad to hear the time you spend with your care professionals is full of friendship, and meaningful conversations. Thank you for trusting Home Instead Watford to support you.
On the day the carers started 12 months ago, I think my blood pressure dropped by about 40 points: as an only child, still working and living a fair distance away, I had been so worried about him not coping with personal care, shopping, eating and keeping hydrated.
The office team are always very responsive, flexible about extra tasks such as driving Dad to family events or GP appointments and no small detail is too much trouble.
Overall, the highest quality personalised care at home.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is a privilege to support your Father and we're so pleased to hear how much he's enjoying his time out with our Care Professionals. Your trust means the world to us, and we're always here to help however we can.
The office team again have been brilliant, very supportive of changing requirements. I would highly recommend Home Instead, thank you all.
If ever problems did arise I could always contact the office and things would get sorted, like getting extra cover for my dad when he came out of hospital on two occasions.
This just goes to show how caring the whole team were. Thank you and would highly recommend this team of carers to someone out there looking for help.
Thank you so much for your lovely review about the Care Professionals and Office team - I will make sure this wonderful feedback gets passed on to the team. We hope Mum is settling in well in Kent.
We have been delighted with Home Instead's services over the past year. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and Mum's regular carer was exceptional. I know Mum will miss her very much. We can't recommend this company highly enough.
Thank you Tracey for your kind review. Always so lovely to hear positive feedback about our Care Professionals and the service we provide.
Thank you and would highly recommend.
Thank you for your kind review. I will pass it on to the team. Kind Regards
It was a very worrying time when my husband came from hospital, having been there for five months, after having an extensive surgery that had left him with two stomas and permanently disabled. I realised that I would not be able to cope on my own and reached out to Home Instead Watford to see if they could help me. My husband was only 58 so the right carers had to be in place to enable a bit of banter but also to be strong with him and encourage physiotherapy and eating. The team that was sent in were fantastic and it was the same three carers the vast majority of the time. My husband actually started to look forward to seeing them and it gave me the respite I needed and time to do some other chores at home. We used the service for a few months until my husband could cope on his own. Thank you Home Instead Watford for being so amazing!
Thank you for such a lovely review. The team really enjoyed visiting your husband and still ask about him all the time. I will pass your feedback on to them. Kind Regards.
The Home Instead (Watford) team have been really fantastic, providing personalised and compassionate care for our step-mother who has dementia. Despite a lot of resistance from her - she has always been adamant that she will not have any help - the team's gentle and sensitive approach has meant that within a week of the care package starting she is happily accepting help, and is clearly enjoying the companionship of the carers. We have all been extremely impressed and would highly recommend this service.
Thank you so much for taking the time write such a wonderful review. We are very proud of our amazing care professionals. I will make sure your feedback is passed on to all our team. Kind Regards.
Thanks - you are a great team.

Your coordinator was kind and showed understanding of our needs. The agency always informed us if there was any delay in carers' attendance.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are delighted to hear that our service was excellent and met your husbands needs.
Excellent and reliable care provided at a very difficult time. Should I require further assistance in the future I would not hesitate to call for the services of Home Instead.

Carers have been excellent. Always provided professional care with compassion.
Thank you for your kind review, we have wonderful carers and I am so pleased to get your feedback.
Home Instead found the correct carer in terms of skill and personality to suit the needs of my wife at this particular moment.
Thank you for your 5-star review Rony. We hope your wife is continuing to make a full recovery.
My mum was cared for by the Watford Team from Oct 2019 to Oct 2020. Whilst Professionalism in Care is expected, it is the manner in which the team delivered that Care which was such a joy for us. Mum had been blind for 4 years and had become extremely hard of hearing so to allow her to remain within an environment which she knew well and was comfortable in was a blessing. The team assessed her needs and made detailed plans for her daily morning care. These plans were always well understood by each member of the team that came for mum's care. Handover from one team member to others as the need arose was always done in person and the new team member was introduced to us and to mum so that there was full continuity. Each team member was friendly, chatty and created a 'bond' between themselves and mum. It was this 'bond' of friendship that mum cherished and gave us immense peace of mind. Towards the end, they were looking after mum twice a day and were always flexible. Thank you!
Thank you for your kind review. We are so glad that we were able to be such a source of support and reassurance for you and your mum.
My father and I have been very happy with the care he has received over the last 18-months. He speaks very fondly of his carers, and it is great that the same small group visited him as this allowed him to build a relationship with them. They have all been kind and patient with him and have left me notes on shopping and personal items he required, which helped me a lot. I have been impressed by the carers' professionalism and appreciate it has been especially challenging for them to deliver care during the current covid19 pandemic. Their support has enabled him to stay in his own home for longer, and I am grateful for this.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a brilliant review. We are very proud of the excellent care our team has provided to your father.

Meet the Team (9)
I joined Home Instead in 2017, and I am very passionate about delivering person-centred and relationship-led care to clients. I see our role in the office as providing a service to clients, but also supporting our care professionals to be the best they can be.
I started in care due to the flexibility with young children, but over time, I have progressed to GM and Group Registered Manager. I'm grateful for the opportunities I have been given over the past 5 years. I LOVE my job, I love the different tasks, I love the variety.
I’ve worked for Home Instead since 2023, starting as a scheduler & progressing to Care Manager. I support the office team & ensure our clients receive the highest quality care. Passionate about making a positive difference, I love being part of the Home Instead family.
My main focus is connection and consistency. I work closely with our clients and their families to build trust and ensure every visit is meaningful. My down-to-earth nature helps put everyone at ease, and I am always here to support our team with advice and encouragement.
I bring compassion and real knowledge to every client's care journey. Working closely with families and Care Professionals, I create care plans that truly fit each client's life, personality, and preferences. I'm passionate about helping people age with dignity.
I focus on ensuring our Care Professionals are confident and ready for anything. Delivering our award-winning training with bundles of energy and empathy, I equip them with the skills they need to do their best work and support their growth from day one.
I've enjoyed over eleven years working in care, with seven of these as a scheduler, ensuring that visits run smoothly week after week. I love the variety the role brings, and knowing the work I do each week really supports the people we care for.
When you reach out to us, I'm often the first voice you'll hear. I have a genuine passion for helping families navigate their care options, and I am deeply involved in building strong relationships within our local community.
People and community are what get me out of bed in the morning. After years in social prescribing and home care, I know how much the right relationships matter, and building those across our area is exactly what I love doing to support our clients and care professionals.
