I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mum has received from this home care provider. Living with Alzheimer's can be incredibly challenging, but the team has made a genuine difference to her quality. Every member of staff is consistently caring, professional, and thoughtful in their approach. They
treat my mum with real dignity and kindness, always taking the time to understand her needs and ensure she feels safe and comfortable. Communication has been excellent throughout. I am always kept informed, and any concerns are handled promptly and with genuine care. It's clear they value transparency and collaboration with families, which makes a huge difference. What stands out most is the strong relationship they've built with my mum. Despite the challenges of Alzheimer's, they have taken the time to connect with her on a personal level, bringing warmth and familiarity into her daily routine. Nearly two years ago when I realised my husband needed professional care on account of his Dementia and Alzheimer's together with other health issues, several friends and colleagues highly recommended HomeInstead. I was not disappointed. Pauline and her colleagues looked after John with such care, compassion
and patience it was inspiring to watch. On several occasions I needed live in care and Maida was fantastic, keeping a watchful eye on him during the night too and cooking him delicious meals. In the end Pauline steered me through the process of getting John assessed and into a local care home, advising on when it was the right time to move him. He is in the care home now but we will always look back on the happy times he had with his team from HomeInstead. All the carers were totally honest and trustworthy and Mentor always did a great job of sourcing carers for me, even at the last minute when I had forgotten I needed help!

My mum was recently diagnosed with early dementia at 88,you know things are changing but don't want to admit as her daughter you can't cope. I was at mums every day doing all the things she couldn't do but I knew I needed a day off .Home instead west Fife and Kinross were recommended to me by a care
home making that call was one of the hardest things I have ever done , the care manager was so lovely and understanding and made an appointment to come out and see us.The meeting went well and the team were so supportive and helpful I knew I had made the right decision. We set up a care plan for 1day a week to have carer come to give mum some companionship and make her a hot meal. Mum was a bit tearful at first and insisted she could manage herself but we are now 4month on and she has got to know the carers and looks forward to her "day off". What I like is new carers are introduced by the care manager, every one of the team have been excellent with mum she is well looked after thank you.

Homeinstead has been a great organisation to work with. They have been supporting my dad over last 6 months and adapted to his increasing needs over last 3 months. The office staff and carers are all very friendly and kind. I don't live nearby which means I have to call office sometimes to discuss changes
and everyone always friendly and willing to accommodate. The carers themselves are so kind and supportive to my dad. He has liked every one. Highly recommend this organisation as a homecare support service.

I was recommended to Home Instead by a friend who already used their services. Having looked after my husband for 2 years, who suffers with Alzheimer's and dementia, I needed some respite. After meeting management and staff I decided to go ahead and have been very pleased with the care my husband has

We had service and care from a good number of care professionals during our time with home

My mam and dad were struggling and reluctant to let strangers into their home. Home Instead was the best choice I have ever made, They were very professional and friendly and soon put my parents at ease. The carer team were fantastic and always went the extra mile to make sure my parents needs were

I had visited Home Instead for a general enquiry because my Wife was in Hospital in a serious condition and I did not know when or even if she would be discharged, the office team were very welcoming and gave me all the information and confidence I needed that this was a company I would like for Sheila's
care if the need arose, well the need arose much quicker than expected and I returned to arrange the care and asked "tongue in cheek" if it could start the following day, well to my surprise and delight they arranged it and indeed did start two visits per day, the coordinator who is very likeable and informative carried out a comprehensive risk assessment and from then on the excellent care team arrived on time every day and were extremely professional in every task they carried out, but most of all they were all very likeable and gave me the peace of mind that Sheila was receiving the best possible care in our own home.

We've had carers from Home Instead for a couple of years now and have found the service provided to be excellent. The regular carers for Mum at home have become more like friends than carers.
They have excelled over the past month after Mum had a fall which resulted a stay in hospital and a move into
a care home. During this time the carers went 'above and beyond' in the support they provided for both Mum & Dad. Their help and advice was invaluable and it's difficult to imagine how the family would have coped without them.
I have no hesitation in recommending in the services offered by Home Instead.
