We have found Home Instead a very professional and caring organisation. From the initial phone call to ongoing communication. Staff are always very pleasant and communicate clearly both with the relatives and the clients. The care givers are fully up to date with the care plan and ensure that it is carried out in a caring, respectful and timely manner. When there is going to be a change of care giver they are always introduced by the previous one this ensure continuity and familiarity for the client. The office team are very pleasant and proficient and are able to make changes quickly should the need arise. Finding the right care for a loved one can be fraught with challenges and Home Instead have made this path smoother and easier for us all.

My elderly Father had been having daily care visits for over a year but his health suddenly deteriorated and with a few hours notice the Home Instead Team were able to provide permanent live in care. This gave me peace of mind that my father was being well looked after. His carer is an absolute delight and genuinely cares for his daily needs with dignity and respect. I don't know how we would manage without his carer. I cannot rate the level of service received highly enough.

We have used Home Instead's care services for approx 3 years and it has been the best decision we made for our 93 year old mother. Mum's small team of girls always had her best interests at heart. They were kind, conscientious. They listened and they all offered continual professional care and attention always. Mum grew very fond of her little angel team and looked forward to seeing them all. We have used home instead for a year now and they have great. We have had difficulty getting my mother in law to agree to any help and she is still determined that she can manage on her but the girls have been great just checking up on her and helping where they can.

I would highly recommended Home Instead.
My husband's carer was always respectful, knew him and responded to his needs. He liked her and usually felt safe with her. She took responsibility for his medication and never missed a dose.
The best thing was being able to read the carers notes and keeping updated on how things were going. All round excellent care, and a highly recommend care company.

We've been using Home instead for 3 years now. We are extremely happy with the care the client receives. Everyone from management to care staff, are wonderful and really go the extra mile to ensure needs are met, if not exceeded. Recently I needed to contact Management who were wonderful, highly responsive and supportive to the changes in condition, and are passionate about ensuring the wellbeing and dignity of their client. The carers are also wonderful and I regularly get phone calls from the client telling me excitedly about an activity they did together, or something funny that happened.

HomeInstead have been looking after my husband who has Alzheimer's for 3 years, offering companionship for him - and me - and helping with some light cleaning duties in the house while with us. I have always found staff helpful, friendly and hard working, doing whatever job I ask them to do. It would be helpful if I could contacted by the management if staff are unable to come, or would arrive late (due to traffic etc).
We always endeavor to contact clients when staff are running late or if a different care professional is attending, however this can be particularly difficult when covering emergency situations and sickness.
