Excellent service from the Home Instead team, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The whole team are helpful and accommodating, especially liasing with other healthcare professionals and they have taken good care of both my parents, managing their changing needs with kindness and practical help. Compared to the previous service my dad had on being discharged from hospital, this is night and day. It makes a huge difference knowing I can trust them to look after my parents and know they are being properly cared for. Thank you!

We are very grateful for the excellent level of care provided to our mum. There has been great continuity of care with a small team of very caring carers. They have become friends. They provide 2 hour break cover in which they prepare a sandwich lunch, which mom likes. Then they go for a walk or listen to some music. Communication from the company is excellent if ever a carer has a slight delay or a change of carer is planned. Regular review meetings are thorough, and the care plan is adjusted with changing needs. Thank you for all your care.

We started to use Home Instead Newport for support when Mum was diagnosed with a serious illness, someone came the next day to discuss our needs and we had one carer the following day to support Mum looking after Dad in the mornings. As time went on Mum needed more support with housework so we adjusted the care plan to add some extra duties and increased the number of visits. Sadly Mum passed away in December and it was the morning carer who found her and phoned the office who then contacted us and sent someone straight away to support the carer. We have found the carers and office staff to be friendly, approachable and professional and would recommend Home Instead to anyone requiring this kind of support.

Contacting Home Instead was one of the best decisions we made when looking for care for my Dad. It's clear that everyone on the team is extremely professional and passionate about their work and they have always been very helpful with any queries we've had.
Dad's carer has formed a great connection with him and really understands what things he needs particular help with or direction. He has told me he enjoys her visits and looks forward to the meals she prepares for him.
We are especially happy that she has gained his trust and is able to assist him with changing his clothes more often so he feels fresher.
Knowing that Dad has people visiting him who genuinely care for his welfare has given our family great peace of mind and supported him to continue happily living in his own home.

My mother has a good regular team looking after her and she seems happy and well fed. She has plenty of short walks in the garden weather permitting. One of the team who can drive takes her on outings, which I know she enjoys.

It is difficult to find good care at home, but we have found the initial introduction, meeting with carers, and the review process to be all that we could have expected. Service review addresses client worries/concerns with speed and dignity.
Such a kind, helpful and professional company. Going through rapid change with my dad and nothing was too much trouble to help support him. The communication system is excellent and everything I asked for was implemented immediately. The emotional support I received was invaluable as I navigated the need for home help for my dad which rapidly became 24hr care and into a care home.

My mother received wonderful service and care from Home Instead whilst I was on holiday. She was delighted with the two carers who visited over the two week period and forged a real friendship with them. Carers are excellent and communication good. It genuinely feels as though the carers have a strong relationship with mum and have taken time to really get to know her. She values her independence and the care offered has ensured she can stay in her own home. The schedulers and care coordinator also show high levels of empathy and understanding and communicate well with me as mum's relative.

The two girls come in to see me every day they are really helpful. I couldn't ask for more since my wife passed away! I really enjoy looking forward to them coming in taking me out to local pub and always prepare my favourite good - just the way I like it!
I contacted Home Instead on behalf of our friend who has dementia and relied on her friends for support but we felt she needed more. The staff at the office were very helpful when we first contacted them and a plan was soon put in place. There are now three visits a week and although she still says she does not need help, she is very welcoming and appreciates their care and attention. We her friends are very grateful for this.

The team members always gave superb care and were prepared to adjust their role and step up with more duties as my husband's condition worsened. Always sympathetic and supportive to him and myself and their visits were always cheering and happy. They were observant, looking for things to do which would help and supportive us both.
