Our family is so grateful to Home Instead for the excellent care they continue to provide for my elderly Father. My brother and I both live some distance from my parents so we can't pop in to check on them on a regular basis. We know that five days a week, someone from Home Instead is going into the home to support Dad and relieve Mum from her caring duties. This is a huge help and comfort to us all. We can access the Carer's notes via the Carers Support App, which keep us informed about Dad on a daily basis and highlights issues we may not pick up talking to my parents on the phone. The kindness that all the carers have shown to both our parents is exceptional. We cannot thank them enough.

We've been really pleased with the service that we've received since we've been using Home Instead Bradford & West Leeds. When we were quite disappointed with the service that we received from our previous provider, we were not too sure which way to turn, but very quickly, once we had spoken to Home Instead, we were confident that we were taking a huge step forward. That has proven to be the case. They have a lovely team of carers, and it's always been a pleasure whenever we've needed to speak to the office. Any queries that we've had or changes that we've needed to make have been accommodated, and we couldn't be happier to recommend them to anybody that's looking for care.

Our Mum has been with Home Instead for her care over the last 3 years, primarily starting with just a morning call, and towards the end of her life recently 3 calls per day with 2 staff attending Mum.

All the carers have been lovely and the palliative care Mum received at end of life was excellent - supporting Mum and both my sister and I.

The team at HomeInstead have looked after my mother from August 2025 through to September 2026. The provision only stopped after my mother moved to live with a sister.

The care was an initial emergency two week live-in care following a fall and infection before transitioning into evening check-ins/preparation of evening meals before then moving back to full-time live-in care since January 2026.

Following the fall in August 2025 the team were able to put in place a live-in carer within 24 hours and from then have been very responsive and have provided first class care throughout.

Each of the carers and managers have been very understanding and they did a great job of ensuring continuity of carers with two providing the vast majority of the care, both of whom my mother trusted implicitly and got on very well with.

I turned to Home Instead when my mother needed care as the same team had provided end-of-life care for my father five years earlier. They had been as professional then.

Mum enjoyed their visits and felt in safe hands.

Our family found the Kirklees Home Instead team very helpful and friendly. My 84 year old Dad enjoyed the initial home visit from the manager. She took her time to listen to his needs and was very positive and motivating. He had one hour per week as extra support and company on top of visits from family and his regular cleaner. This relieved the mounting pressure and worry for family members. I found the office staff very professional and informative, during our phone calls. The invoices were sent by e-mail and I paid by bank transfer, which was very straightforward. Dad was visited by the same support worker every time and said she was a hard worker and he enjoyed chatting with her. When he went into hospital, the team were supportive and explained how the service would be paused and then resumed when he was discharged. Our family is very grateful to the team.

The team at Home Instead Bradford and West Leeds have been great. The management team was so reassuring right from the start when we were a little bit unsure of what we wanted or needed. The care that has been provided subsequently has been excellent. Lovely carers, always punctual and always cheerful. We are delighted and also relieved that we chose Home Instead.

The best thing was being able to read the carers notes and keeping updated on how things were going. All round excellent care, and a highly recommend care company.

Very poor communication-emails not replied to & the app is one way communication from the carer, would be better if could be added to by the client/family. Gerry was very friendly on the initial visit but follwing my Dad being admitted to hospital long term her lack of response to my email cancelling the carers was downright rude i was just blocked from using the app- no acknowledgement at all or concern for my Dads health.When i previously emailed the reply was blunt & i had to request receipt of the email to check it had been received. The carers that visited my Dad were lovely & tried to what we requested -some tasks were not completed due to my Dad refusing but we were assured they would be eventually.

An excellent professional service, to assist my friend who had become weak and unfit after a prolonged hospital Stea. He was taken on daily walks, and very quickly recovered his Fitness and well-being improved tremendously. He very much enjoyed the intelligent conversation of the team during these walks.

From my first call to Home Instead, Huddersfield, they were friendly and professional and after a visit to meet me and mum they soon recruited a team of carers to meet her needs. The care professionals quickly formed warm yet professional relationships with mum and were kind, skilled and supportive during their visits. We knew we were in safe hands. Mum's needs changed very rapidly from the beginning of March, when Home Instead started providing her care, until her death in May. During that time the managers were incredibly responsive to her needs, and to mine, and the changes that needed to be made, were done so efficiently and effectively. The team of care professionals who looked after mum during this time were equally impressive and I was very glad that it was them who cared for mum in her final days. Mum died at home in her own bed which is what she wanted. I feel sure this would not have been possible without the excellent care and support we received from Home Instead.

My dad attends the Companionship Cafe organised by Home Instead, It happens monthly, and dad loves it. I went with him in April as I was visiting, and I was so impressed with the location, the staff, the refreshments, and the entertainment. Dad comments every time how much he enjoys it, and it's lovely that there is something different every time.

I'm really pleased that dad can get out of the house and go somewhere safe and entertaining.

I met my mum's carer Gina this week whilst I'm looking after my mum. Gina has been great with my mum- she is really hardworking and very attentive to my mum's needs. It's lovely to see that my mum is already fond of her and great to hear my mum laugh when she is with her. It's really reassuring to know my mum is in a safe pair of hands. Thank you

We couldn't be happier with the care that we have received since moving to Home Instead Bradford & West Leeds. From the minute we contacted them and went through our requirements it was very obvious that they were going to be totally different to what we had been receiving elsewhere.
