A flexible, caring team! Home Instead quickly increased visits to my mum after a stay in hospital. The care professionals often went above and beyond the care plan to deal with arising needs. The care professionals always made sure she was reassured as well as providing care. Excellent!

Home Instead has cared for Mum for over 2 years in a morning and evening visit. It was our first experience of recruiting an agency and we were anxious to get it right. We wanted regular, female carers: We got them. We wanted to be kept well informed: not only does the app give us a detailed report
about each visit but we also got calls from the carers if there were immediate concerns about Mum. We were very hands on with requests and instructions and all carers responded really well to this. All carers have been empathetic, friendly and thoughtful. The only negative is Home Instead charges are quite steep which is why we have to switch but we would stay with them if we could.

My elderly father started his care journey January this year. I still provide the majority of care but now I am able to have a break and feel supported, we work in partnership, I have peace of mind and know he is in good hands when I am not there. I can't recommend Home Instead enough. I had phoned
other providers but I didn't feel they were as interested or helpful and they didn't seem as able to provide the same small group of carers, which is important in relationship building. Everything from the holistic initial assessment to the care visits and review appointment to check all needs are met / there are any new or emerging needs that need planning for, has been outstanding. My father was hesitant to receiving home care, at first, but now he looks forward to the home visits, so much so that we have increased them. He loves choosing his meal at tea time and a cuppa and a chat. Home Instead really do care and provide high quality individualised care.

The Home Instead team are excellent. They have cared for both my mum and dad and everyone who has come to the house has been extremely professional and caring. We also really appreciate the office team for their flexibility and their efforts to make arrangements for help at short notice. I have no hesitation

Changing dad's morning care to Home Instead has been a game-changer. Being a sufferer from dementia, routine is a key thing. Knowing that the carer will turn up at the regular time is very important and comforting by ensuring a routine is in place. The previous provider could turn up any time over a
one and a half hour period. We have generally been pleased with the carers allocated, and having the majority of them in regular slots enables Dad to feel comfortable, and he is used to a familiar face. Additionally, they get to know dad and can build rapport and support him in the best way possible. It is appreciated that they have the time and inclination to undertake additional duties (washing, ironing, etc., along with a weekly shop). This has taken pressure off the family members who do not live locally, and also allows more time for them to 'visit' dad rather than be there at his house doing all the odd jobs, etc.

The manager of this service, Chris, is excellent. He has gone above and beyond for my uncle in providing support before the care has even commenced, especially as we as a family live so far away. Responses to queries and emails have been extremely timely and responsive and the genuine care and willingness

I was very pleased with the care provided to my elderly mum who had dementia. They were all very patient and respectful towards her and encouraged her in all activities. They took time to get to know her, and I know mum was always sad when the carers had to leave her for their next client. We would

We needed overnight care at short notice for my Mum. Emma from Home Instead could not have been more helpful. She took time to really understand Mum's needs and immediately put her at ease during an unsettling time. A thoroughly professional service for which we were very grateful.

We have been with Home Instead for just over 6 months now. I was very hesitant at first as my mum's previous company were really bad, but Home Instead from the start have been amazing. My mum has 2 carers who she gets on really well with; they are more like family.
Office staff have been great, always
call me with any problems & they will put extra visits in at a moment's notice.

From my first contact via email with Home Instead, they responded quickly with full details of costs and what they offer. An appointment was made with Grace and she met with me and my dad to discuss his needs and explained their whole service and process of setting up a care package. Grace is professional
and friendly and put my dad at ease.
Carers come into dad's home twice a week currently and support with cleaning, making sure he is up and has eaten, and talking to him. He has found this especially helpful on mornings when he is struggling to start the day and possibly also feeling low. The carers he has met to date have been kind, caring and he appreciates the time they spend with him talking about the love of his life, his late wife. I find the app very useful as I can see how his morning has been and what the carers have done that day. The whole service provided by Home Instead is excellent and has helped me support dad with his Alzheimers and day to day living in his own home.

My mother has vascular dementia.
She has good days and bad days. On a bad day, she will ask you the same question every 30 seconds but with the help of Home Instead, I've managed to keep her in her own home until the ripe old age of 94 when she is now in need of 24 hour nursing care.
Chelsea and
her team have given us a first class service which has facilitated this to happen over the last 9 years.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them and say I can highly recommend their services to anybody in a similar situation.

Used Home Instead for the first time to look after my husband with Parkinson's and dementia. Had tried 3 different care homes previously, for respite, which didn't work for him. Our carer was superb and our overall experience was outstanding. Without a doubt, I'll use them again. From the first
phone call to the office, the initial assessment and introduction to the potential carer, all went so well and was dealt with professionally, empathetically and with real understanding. Everyone showed sincere care and knowledge of our situation.
I was concerned on my return ( having experienced how my husband had found the homes he'd been in ) how I would find him. However, he was happy and in a far better place both physically and psychologically. He had really enjoyed having our lovely carer around. She'd been excellent company, engaged him in activities, dealt with him in a sensitive manner and kept him so well looked after. I was thrilled ! My home was clean & neat too !
