Overall Experience

I have been a client with Home Instead for the past 6 months. I have a carer twice a week to help me in the shower. I have 2 carers attending me and they are very professional and friendly. I look forward to the days when either of them are here. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for

home care.

Overall Experience

The Home Instead team have been caring for my mother for 3 years. They also cared for my father until he passed away last year. In short, the whole team, carers, and back-office is outstanding. They have provided tailored support, combining empathy and rigour, throughout this time. At every stage, the

care has evolved in-step with my parents' needs. Carers and back-office support my father in his final months with love and sensitivity. They have shown the same personal care, love and empathy looking after my mother as she has made the difficult transition to life without my father. A great strength has been the continuity of the team. They know her. She knows and trusts them. They have become an extension of the family.

Excellent care.
Worried that you wouldn't be able to find 2 permanent carers, but now seems to be solved.
I need a 1 montly receipt for insurance purposes.

My family and I can't thank you enough for the last few months. For our dad, you brought dignity, kindness and humour to a difficult time for a very private man. For our mother, you brought physical and mental relief, friendship, and assurance that our dad was being beautifully taken care of. For us

children and grandchildren, the obvious comfort and happiness you brought to these last few months was wonderful, You enabled our mum to be his wife again, and our time with him to be relaxed and happy.
Each care giver brought their own energy and world with them.I love that the caregivers felt able to be so open and create such string relationships with our parents in such a short space of time. It made all the difference in the world. Our love and thanks to eight members of staff in particular. We are quite a medical family and have worked with many home care companies. Home Instead are absolutely outstanding and I will recommend you to everyone.

I can highly recommend Home Instead for your care needs..I was very nervous about putting something in place regarding my Dad but , a particular member of staff was fantastic, nothing was a problem, her communication with me was faultless.
When it came to our first day I needn't have worried so much.

If I could have hand pick someone to be with my Dad I would have chosen a particular male carer, he was kind, calm and thoughtful, he put me at ease.

Overall Experience

Home Instead have been great with my elderly mum (who can be very stubborn and set in her ways). The visitors are always professional and report any issues they have or find with my mum. Each visit is reported on individually and we have access to this it gives a feel for what has happened at the visits.
The

office is great at reporting back on any issues or a change in visitor in plenty of time, due to unforeseen circumstances, in order to give my mum heads up.
Would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Overall Experience

Home Instead is an exceptional company. Every staff member I have had contact with has been beyond amazing. The team have supported my nan with companionships visits as a way to slowly introduce additional help which she is on the cusp of needing. This slow and steady approach has been really beneficial

to her by building relationships. The way they identify the most appropriate staff member to work with the service user is so unique but such a vital and kind step to ensure my nan had everything she needed. A particular staff member who visited my nana had similar interests to her and therefore they were able to have a really meaningful visit providing such amazing individualised care. Her words for one of the team was "anyone company who has the home care consultant working for them would be lucky". You can see straight away just from initial conversations why this company are rated outstanding!!

My mother continues to be extremely well cared for by the team that visit her. Each carer has developed a very good relationship with her and she regards each as a friend. All caring tasks are performed well and every carer treats my mother with respect and kindness. I have full confidence in both

the care team and the administrative team who keep me informed when the need arises. I think it is a testament to the success of the whole team effort that my mother is able to continue to live in her own home, as she wishes, even as she approaches her 100th birthday. My sincere thanks to you all from my mum and me.

Overall Experience

The Home Instead team came to our aid when we were looking to get my father out from hospital and back home. With very short notice, they put a package in place which enabled us to get him home the next day with a rota of care which continued for the next 3 months. We all came to rely on the team a

lot and they went above and beyond to cater for his requests and timings, alongside the medical care provided both during the day shifts and particularly the overnight care. They became part of the family, and often I think he looked forward to talking to them as part of the visits more than anything. I would thoroughly recommend the Home Instead team.

Overall Experience

An incredible team help my mother on a daily basis. On set up, they plan how the care will be conducted right through to the fine detail of her likes/dislikes and general wishes. They help manage medication and when they visit they help make her day through social contact, conversation, care and support.

When situations arise that make life difficult for the family (living a long way from my mother) they jump in to support and go the extra mile which gives us even greater confidence in the support she is getting.

An incredible team of caring individuals. Highly recommended! They should all be paid double - please don't tell them I said that!

Home Instead have looked after my mum for the last 16 months and have provided excellent care.
From the moment of contacting the office staff, it was clear that this was a care service with a difference. Staff were kind, professional , on time and often went above and beyond to make sure that my mum

was well looked after.
Having a consistent small number of carers meant that staff got to know my mum really well and we got to know them. There's no doubt that having the support of Home Instead helped us look after mum in her own home, which is where she belonged and wanted to be.

Overall Experience

We receive excellent support from both the caregivers and the office staff.
The caregivers are friendly and interested in my dad and his well being. They go out of their way to observe both his health and his needs and work in conjunction with us to ensure he is as supported and happy as possible.
The

office and scheduling staff go out of their way to meet his needs even when these are often changing, both for medical appointments and to allow him to attend clubs and social events. This is always done in a friendly helpful way that doesn't make us feel we are being a nuisance.

Overall Experience

I first contacted Home Instead when they were recommended by a friend. All of my contact with them on the phone and in person has been professional and efficient but also really friendly. Everyone I have spoken to and met has been genuinely lovely. We have used them now for daytime visits, sleeping

night visits and also live in respite care. I feel so much happier when I know someone from Home Instead is with mum because they have all been so amazing with her. Patient, kind and understanding. Mum has always got on well with the carers who have come and has benefitted from their company as much as anything. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody who needs some help to stay in their own home.

Overall Experience

I was reluctant to arrange for carers as up until now although disabled I have been independent. However, I had become nervous about getting into and out of the shower. I therefore arranged to have carers attend for one hour on four mornings and it has made a great difference to my life. The two carers

who share the hours are a splendid combination of kindness and efficiency. They are thoughtful and caring with none of the condescension with which I often see my age group treated. We have built up good relationships and I'm always glad when it is a morning when one of them attends. Incidentally the chiropodist who visits regularly is very impressed by the difference they have made to my feet. I cannot praise highly enough the service I am receiving.

Home Instead is exceptional.

My Mum's Alzheimers is progressing and she needed some companionship during the week while all us children work. I was recommended Home Instead by a friend and I'm so grateful as they've been fantastic.

Mum looks forward to her visits from her carer, they're an excellent

match and Mum hasn't laughed this much in years.

The home care consultant, made the onboarding process easy, informed and relaxed. From her initial visit we
knew this organisation would be brilliant. The family portal keeps you up to date with activities, nutrition and health, which offers reassurance and enables you to track any deterioration.

Overall it's a fantastic service, delivered by the most amazing, friendly, patient people.
