I was recommended Home Instead by a friend. My dad has now been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. My sister and I needed the reassurance that dad was up, dressed and had eaten breakfast and now he has care twice a day at tea time, this was started almost instantly. Dad has adjusted to the care team. They treat him really nicely, so that it doesn't feel like care. Hopefully, Home Instead will help with our mother once she is back home. Many thanks.

My wife has dementia and is unable to make herself understood. After a period in hospital she was brought home with a care plan requiring 3, hourly visits by 2 carers each day. This had to be arranged at short notice but the company stepped up admirably. I cannot fault the care my wife has received from every member of the team from the team leader down. I think it is recognised that our funds are limited and every effort is made to ensure that costs are kept to a minimum. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone in the unfortunate position of requiring care as I am confident they will receive excellent, empathetic treatment from all staff involved.

I couldn't recommend home instead enough. My grandmother was diagnosed with vascular dementia Alzheimer's however wanted to stay in her home and remain independent. With the support from the team we were able to fulfill her wishes. The whole team from admin to carers were kind, supportive and patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble and always kept us up to date and raised concerns if they needed to. We wanted to send a huge thank you to each and every one of you who have played a part in her care. We are very sad not to have you around now she has gone into a care home for round the clock care.

We've been using Home Instead for a little over a month, and are very impressed. The team have been so helpful and patient, and they are making an huge difference in my great aunt's quality of life. Arranging care when you've never done this kind of thing before is overwhelming, and it comes at a time when life is already very difficult and worrying for everyone involved. Everyone I have spoken to in the office has been lovely, and the care team have been superb at giving my great-aunt the dignity and independence she needs whilst making sure she is safe and supported. Very pleased with the service they provide.

Having observed the high level of concern given to my late wife over a period of more than 4 years and the care and concern given to me since her passing by her/my carers have been exemplary. Our carers have been more than simply carers. Their obvious love of their roles shine through and I cannot express too highly the care and companionship that I got from them. Excellent service. The entire team are friendly utterly professional and cannot do enough to help, nothing is too much trouble. It is comforting for us to know that our relative is in such good hands. We could not manage without Home Instead. Our relative gets on so well with the team allocated to him.

I have great respect for the lady who manages the care team who I will not name and the team who have looked after my parents for over 18 months and given them borrowed time together at home. one of my parents has just sadly been moved from the house and is in hospital, I was supported throughout by my key contact who literally stood by my side as this occurred outside of hours which I felt was exceptional and invaluable to me as the situation as you can imagine was very difficult. My mother has received kindness and reassurance as she adapts to not having my father at home. Prior to this I have had to deal with many emergencies and falls with my two parents and have been impressed with the flexibility and speed cover was adjusted and in place to support the remaining parent. The IT reporting tool used has allowed me more freedom as it does provide real time updates allowing me to stay remote completely advised of events its really effective.

Sam and Daryn were lovely mum loved having them helping her and keeping her company. She would like them again when we need the restbite. They were just like having friends over for coffee. They were a great help with dinners and housework

We can not fault the care the family has received from the Home Instead team especially Sharon, Emma and 'singing' Andrea and dancing partner Holly.

We are so proud to be part of the Tuesday singing group. This is great stimulation from music and exercise with all the dancing.

My family started employing Home Instead Southampton for Personal Care and Household Services for my Mum and Dad in early 2020 and over the course of the next six years they provided an exemplary service, full of professionalism, efficiency and compassion. Both of my parents quickly came to view their Professional Carers as friends as well as carers. We were particularly impressed by their willingness to get stuck in when situations were difficult. For my sister and I who both lived some distance from our parents, their daily presence was incredibly reassuring. When my Dad passed away in 2021, the Professional Carers became a real lifeline for my Mum, whose life was immeasurably better because of their daily presence. From a more practical, operational perspective, Home Instead Southampton were similarly excellent. Quarterly Service Reviews undertaken without fail and helped to inspire full confidence in their commitment to the care of loved ones. Strongly recommended.

Previously, I would have described their service as good, but not necessarily special. But since Mum's accident, I have been so impressed with the whole team, how they geared up so quickly and efficiently to ensure she could remain in her own home and the level of service and care has really been outstanding.

After an 18 month battle with cancer, my father deteriorated very quickly just after Christmas and after a short stay in hospital it was clear he was going to need some assistance at home. The team quickly jumped into action and came to visit us the morning after I had got him home. During that day it became apparent that the sort of care I had initially reached out about wasn't going to enough and the team were able to completely adapt and provide us with excellent urgent palliative care the following day. My father very sadly passed away peacefully at home a day later but having the home instead team on rotation during the day and all through the night gave us peace of mind and comfort. It gave us the space as his family to be able to just sit with him and spend time with him in his final days knowing there was a professional on hand to help with any more functional care needs. I couldn't recommend the team enough - so competent at what they do but also incredibly kind.
