Home Instead have been providing services to my wife for the past 18 months and at all times I have found the staff to be punctual and completely reliable. I would certainly recommend their services.
My mother's quality of life has improved with their support. Would happily recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you are pleased with the service and that the support provided has had a positive impact on your mother's quality of life. Our team always aims to put care in place as promptly and smoothly as possible, so it is wonderful to know this has given you peace of mind and support at home.
Responsive, polite and reliable, I found Home Instead to be provide an excellent service. I would recommend them unreservedly. One particular feature was the continuity of carers, which meant relationships developed.
From the moment of contacting the office staff, it was clear that this was a care service with a difference. Staff were kind, professional , on time and often went above and beyond to make sure that my mum was well looked after.
Having a consistent small number of carers meant that staff got to know my mum really well and we got to know them. There's no doubt that having the support of Home Instead helped us look after mum in her own home, which is where she belonged and wanted to be.
It is very helpful to feel comfortable and safe while showering and getting dressed, as I get very out of breath so easily. The companionship is great.
The carers worked well with her apart from the odd hiccup which probably happens when any person is faced with a major change in their life. They were supportive and efficient.
Over the five month period of utilising the Home Instead Service we were extremely happy with what they provided.
Excellent level of care for my mother focused on what she wants to attain and things she needs help with. Bespoke care plan, very consistent team who know her well. Flexible to changes in schedule when needed. Carers are kind and supportive, efficient but not officious.
The team are fantastic, they are so helpful and happy to assist with a variety of tasks and appointments. Great communication and timekeeping. Gives us peace of mind knowing they visit Mum and support her to continue to be as independent as possible whilst keeping her company. We have been using Home Instead for a number of months now and the care and level of service have been consistently high. Highly recommend.
The care I have received has been excellent. The carers always ask what they can do to help me and carry out my needs efficiently and they have all been without exception, cheerful and helpful. As a result of a fall it has limited my mobility quite a lot and I have had to have help. Well, I am naturally an independent person even if I have recently had my 80th birthday, Well with the carer's help I have maintained that independence because they ask me what they can do to help me and carry out my requests efficiently and cheerfully. Without exception, they have all been a big help to me and I feel I maintain my independence with their help.
I always found the staff at Home Instead to be thoughtful and efficient. The live-in carer who came to help look after my parents was exceptional. She looked after them so well and helped us through a very difficult time with the best care I could ever have asked for, all with kindness, very practical, cleanliness, organised, thorough, thoughtfulness as well as a sense of humour and dedication, always willing to help to make the experience for both my parents as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances. She went above and beyond.
We have gone from carers coming in twice a day to 24/7 live-in care. All the carers have been excellent - they have gone above and beyond, graciously and with great kindness. Our live-in carer could not be lovelier; proactive, conscientious and cheerful. Recently we were able to go away on holiday 100% confident that Dad would be looked after as well as (in fact even better!) than we could care for him.
It's been six weeks now with our Home Instead live-in carer. She has the basics completely in hand - helping my parents to be safe and comfortable. They have regular meals, eat, drink, sleep, take their medicines and stay safe and warm. But in addition to this, she has achieved wonders in reviving my mother's waning appetite. This is something I've been trying to do for years, and in just three weeks our carer has managed to get my mother to finish her meals. She's also managed to persuade my parents to be more active, even going for short walks in the fresh air. They are physically stronger, no longer spending all day under layers of blankets, but showered, clothed, more engaged and active. We feel very lucky to have such a kind and professional carer.
Home Instead have always provided excellent care support in a dignified and professional manner. Staff are always on time or if delayed, management provide timely updates. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone seeking care for a loved one.
I found my Stepmother's carer to be happy, reliable and very caring. My stepmother very quickly became extremely fond of her they became friends which to me, was very important. She filled out a daily diary so she knew the day's events.
Home Instead have been looking after my mother for the past year, as she has gradually become frailer and more difficult to find things that she would eat and drink. They have provided excellent care, with a very consistent small team of carers, so Mum could really get to know them, and also they all knew Mum. They visited three or four times a day helping her get up, washed and dressed, sorting all of her meals, putting her to bed, helping with her exercises, washing her clothes and bedding, and keeping the flat clean. An excellent service.
Home Instead have been outstanding. During recent months, Mum has become very frail, including a period with Covid. She has had first-class care including overnight, often arranged at very short notice. They have made a very difficult time bearable and helped Mum hugely.
Home Instead look after my dad. They are the second company we've had and are so much better. They involve him in everything and make him feel comfortable. Recently they have started taking Dad out twice a week, and he has been a different person. He loves the ladies like family.
Carers are very helpful, kind and they make me laugh and enjoy activities and life in general.
I am so pleased when my ladies arrive each morning to help me. The ladies are so caring and do not rush me. I’m so glad I found Home Instead, the staff are so professional. Nothing is too much trouble.
