Very considerate, good company, always on time (traffic permitting), thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble.
My carer is a great help to us both - she is always prompt. Cheerful and willing to do any tasks needed.
All the Home Instead carers are wonderful and my mother really enjoys their visits. Although she has lost her short term memory due to a stroke she seems to remember all about the ladies who visit - I believe this shows how much she values them. They are very caring, attentive and helpful and I don't think she would be able to live in her own home without their visits. I could not be happier with the service.
I’ve always found Home Instead very caring, reliable and responsive to my mother’s needs. They visit once a week or more often if required and have been flexible to my mother’s preferences in terms of carers. When there have been staff changes, these were handled well so that my mother was introduced to new people in a sensitive way, which has been much appreciated.
The ladies who look after me couldn’t be more kind and helpful. Since I came out of hospital I have needed more care than before and they have taken on the extra tasks willingly even though they had to have extra training to do so. They do everything I ask regardless of what it is except the things they are not allowed to which are not many.
I have nothing but the highest praise for the wonderful, supportive care my Mother received at home from January 2020 to her recent passing in February 2022. She was always treated with the utmost respect in a loving, compassionate manner. All her Carers were so helpful, humorous, sympathetic, caring and enabled my Mother to stay at home which was her deepest wish. The communication from the office has always been excellent and I knew that everything would be handled in a professional way to a very high standard. I thoroughly recommend Home Instead and am delighted my Mother and myself chose them as her care providers.
All staff, both office-based and home visitors are very professional in a caring, approachable and friendly way. We have been using the companionship service for my father for about a year now and cannot fault it in any way. We are completely confident in knowing that everything will be done to the highest standards.
The personal care I receive is very dignified and I am always treated with respect. The ladies that visit are very caring and nothing is too much trouble for them and I feel confident to ask them anything.
The initial requirements for night care were quickly organised and fulfilled by the company at very short notice. The staff that have attended are professional courteous and a pleasure to have in the house.
The call I received from Home Instead both for my husband and support for myself was wonderful.
All carers are very helpful and approachable.
Very caring. Very helpful.
We started using Home Instead (East Hampshire and Midhurts) for my Father only a few months ago but already the changes are evident. My Dad really looks forward each day to the carers arriving and having social interaction and banter with them. The carers are very helpful, sympathetic and being Dementia trained, is reassuring to me and my family that Dad is being looked after in the best possible hands. I know that I can contact the manager or office at any time with any concerns and they are dealt with promptly.
The Home Instead (East Hampshire and Midhurst) team, both in person and in the office, showed real care for my mother-in-law. Helping her in many ways through a difficult time, often going above and beyond what was required. We are very grateful.
The whole process of setting up care for our father at home was seamless. There was great professionalism, compassion and warmth shown by all the staff we had contact with and fantastic communication and organisation behind the scenes. The carer arrangements were second to none with two carers appointed to cover the whole week and work side-by-side to cover absences. There was certainty in the arrangements, knowing who would be there each day, at what time and for how long. The care and companionship provided was of an extremely high standard with attention to every last detail. The carers were just the type of people you’d pick yourself if you could. A plus point for us was that the laundry was looked after by the carers and general household duties and errands undertaken. This took the pressure off enormously. The carers were very thoughtful when it came to helping out about the house and leaving notes. It really was a pleasure and ease to work with such a first-class agency.
Very pleased.
The flexibility of the service was always available when circumstances changed.
Dependable, trustworthy, friendly, security.
Home Instead has been extremely helpful and efficient over the last two years caring for a relative. This entailed some home help, shopping, attending medical appointments, and companionship - all done with kindness, care, and awareness of the client's dignity. I thoroughly recommend them.
Punctual and tidy.
Will use again if my partner goes abroad again.
