The Home Instead organisation was very easy and flexible to deal with, and all staff were very efficient, friendly, and helpful. My parents really liked everyone that came to the house to care for them, and benefited greatly from their support. Staff were always on time and keen to go the further mile in offering to help where they saw a need. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We have used Home Instead Senior Care (East Hampshire and Midhurst) for the past few years to help care for my mum. The manager is very caring and helpful and he runs the agency in a professional way. The agency takes great care in recruiting suitable carers and my mum has had two women and recently a third, who have been invaluable. The agency makes sure that the same carers visit consistently so that close relationships can be formed. If a replacement carer comes because of a holiday then they always shadow the regular carer first. Not only have the carers been extremely helpful, they have also become good friends with my mum and she really looks forward to them visiting.

I and my family have found the agency to be the best agency that we have ever used. We would highly recommend them to anyone. The family all live a long way from our family member and are always kept informed of any changes in the schedule of care that they provide. Our family member who receives the care is always very happy with the service that they receive.

Home Instead have given us so much support with both my parents. My dad was left on his own after mum went into a home, the care that Home Instead provided was second to none.
They have become my dad's friends, he would be lost without them.
They have been so flexible with additional needs that we have asked for.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend.

It was so reassuring to have the carers here. Dementia is the hardest thing I have had to cope with. All your carers were so comforting and imformative and treated my husband as a "person" as opposed to a patient. Thank you.

My mother needed a care package after being less dependent following 2 months in hospital. We chose Home Instead because a friend of ours works with patients (elderly) and said they were the best. We tailored the package to Mum's needs perfectly. We were then more than happy and relaxed about her care. All staff are fantastic, including the management. Mum unexpectedly but peacefully died at home and the caregiver that day was able to inform us without drama.

Home Instead have been extremely professional and caring from the start of a difficult process. The team worked hard to ensure my mum had consistency with her visits, both with the times and the carers. The carers were extremely kind, and thoughtful, helping my mum, providing professional yet friendly contact. The office also kept in regular contact with the family, informing us of any changes with mums health or concerns. They also attended professionals/family meeting which was very helpful. I am extremely grateful for all the care and kindness my mum received from the staff at Home Instead.

I can't imagine any service made more personal, individual and difficult to provide than that of care giving to the elderly, and yet this is the case for my late wife and myself. Home Instead achieved this to perfection.

The staff work hard, were friendly, without being intrusive and were caring beyond professionalism.

I was very happy with the care and support I received from the carers. It was really good that they were with me at the exact time they said. This was very important to me. Also they were so willing to do any jobs I asked. I also enjoyed the company and a friendly chat.

I was provided with 30 hours "homecare" by a company following a hip replacement operation. This was supplied by Home Instead. Before my operation i was met at home by the local coordinator who assessed my probable needs. As i recovered more quickly than expected i did not require help with personal care. However my mobility was somewhat impaired for 2-3 weeks. This made general day to day chores particularly difficult. My two carers understand my areas of need and were happy to do general cleaning, ironing and cooking. They were friendly and non-interfering, doing only what was asked. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead have been carers for my mother both here, Haslemere and Hemel Hempstead for over three years. We have had consistently high, loving, nurturing fun care all that time. The two carers from Alton are fabulous, a fantastic combination of efficiency, care, love but above all fun. One carer takes her out on trips which is amazing. The office staff are kind and considerate. I hope the company is still in operation when I need a carers in old age! We couldn't be more pleased and have recommended them to many friends!

I found everyone at Home Instead to be extremely supportive both to my mother and me. They kept me fully informed and involved with my mother's care. My mother's needs changed frequently and Home Instead were able to meet those needs at short notice.

The standard of care was second to none, more importantly my mother was given companion ship and she formed close bonds with her carers. All the carers were reliable and trustworthy and I was happy that my mother was supported fully.

I was only sorry when my mother's care needs became so great that she had to move to a nursing home.

I began working in the childcare sector in 2011. I completed an apprenticeship for my Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young people’s workforce. From here, I worked my way up and became a Deputy Manager of a large nursery chain in Basingstoke. After having my own child, I spent two years working in a busy HR office within a large chain of Nurseries and began working in recruitment. I recruited for over 42 Nurseries across the UK and helped people to find various roles within this sector. In 2020, I joined Home Instead during the pandemic as a Recruiter.

As a Recruiter, it’s important I find the right people to join our Home Instead family.
