A brilliant, highly recommended Care Company - gold star. My mother-in-law has been looked after for quite a few months and has been treated like a family member. Suffering from dementia she has been cared for with dignity, patience, encouragement and love. Nothing has been too much for any of her carers and so myself and the rest of Mum's family want to say a big thankyou to all 3 who looked after her. Also many thanks to our main administration manager for all her help.

I know we will be using them for as long as we need them - thank you all .

What a fantastic team Home Instead are! My Mum had had a fall and broken her hip and pelvis and when she was recovering in hospital she said she wanted to return home with care. We were so lucky to find Home Instead who come every day to Mum and she looks forward to seeing them. She is still quite active so enjoys baking and socialising. She needs help with showering, washing and drying her hair and Homs Instead are so kind and caring with her. They help with washing clothes and light cleaning in the house which is a great help. Mum is delighted she can stay in her own home with their help and they have become great friends too. We highly recommend them!

It's sometimes very difficult persuading your parents that they need care in the home, but having engaged the professional, caring and friendly team at Home Instead, we and our parents couldn't be happier. We're confident that they are safe and well looked after and we get daily updates on all the visits, which is a great comfort. Over the last 2 years the care needs have fluctuated and Home Instead have been helpful providing advice and offering flexibility to meet our needs. Outstanding Service.

We have had a very good experience with Home Instead Burnley over the last couple of months, a carer comes weekly to help my elderly mum, and she is excellent, a self-starter who will do what my mum wants her to do, but also will spy jobs that need doing and just do them, whether its gardening, household chores or a bit of shopping. She's also a really nice person with a sunny disposition who my mum gets on well with, which provides invaluable companionship for my mum, she has really appreciated what the carer does for her and it brightens her day. We also had another situation that arose, requiring accompanying my dad to a medical appointment, which Home Instead sorted out for us quickly and easily and all passed off very well, with again the carer/driver being very personable and helpful. Thank you Home Instead!

Home Instead have provided care for my wife for last two years. She has dementia and is immobile. Sometimes, she can be difficult to deal with. I have the greatest respect for all the carers who have dealt with my wife and for the management and administrative support. They are extremely competent, compassionate, friendly, patient and professional. I have been very satisfied with the services provided throughout Home Instead's involvement. I would recommend them to anybody who is seeking a first class.and reliable service.

Home Instead has been providing daily care visits for my father for several years now and without them he would not be able to remain living comfortably in his own home. The carers have become more like family to us and are friendly and efficient. They provide personal care needs, administer medication, prepare meals and ensure household jobs like laundry, making beds and emptying bins are completed. Communication with management is easy and enables us to adjust to ever changing care requirements, such as helping with showering and transport to and from health appointments. The minimum one hour visit allows for interactions between my father and carers to be unrushed and meaningful. My father's mobility is poor and he rarely leaves the house, so he really values seeing a friendly face (who isn't family!) and chatting about topics of interest.

You have been providing support in the home to my mother who is 90 since January. I cannot praise you and your Team enough for the care, consideration and sensitivity you have shown in this time. Nothing is too much trouble for you and your people and my mum has become stronger and more independent because of the support she receives from you. As a family we feel assured that she has people around her who will take care of her needs. thank you.

Our family has been incredibly grateful to Home Instead for the help and care they have provided to our parents (92 and 88) these past few months. My sister and I both live in London and our parents are in Ormskirk and have had a very difficult year. We were so impressed by the speed with which Sharon was able to visit us to set up a care package and put it into practice, and by the empathy and kindness shown towards the whole family. My parents have settled into their new routine and grown very fond of the new faces in their life. They are now getting the additional support they need both practically and emotionally. There have been a few occasions when we've needed to increase the number of visits during some difficult weeks and each time we've reached out to Sharon and the team they have responded with such willingness, flexibility, and compassion. The peace of mind it's given to me and my sister is invaluable. All the carers have been absolutely wonderful - so patient and kind!

My husband diagnosed with mixed dementia a year ago. Not knowing what to expect, I contacted various groups, including Home Instead, for support. As my husband has only short term memory loss at this stage, I only require minimal support. I am extremely happy with the service provided and am impressed with being included in social meetings as well.

I had a great experience with respite care on a short break in Lytham St Anne's. The support was centred around my wants and needs and Connor was friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely use Home Instead next time I come to Lytham St Anne's.

I was very nervous about the prospect of having strangers in my home but I need not have worried as all the carers are lovely and worked hard to relax me. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile and laughter. They help keep my house clean and tidy, help with washing my hair when I needed it, help with the laundry and bedding changes, putting the grocery delivery away, .... the list is endless. Having carers has helped enormously and taken the strain off my son and DIL who both work full time. It also has taken away my worry of feeling a burden to them.

We have been very impressed by the level of service provided by Home Instead, from the initial consultation and throughout Barbara's care. The carers who were assigned to Barbara (Barbara and Jayne) have been outstanding. Their care, kindness and thoughtfulness are really appreciated. They always took the time to be completely present when with Barbara and always thought of interesting and enjoyable activities for her to do and places to visit. As a family we are very grateful for this.

Very happy with the carers that came to help my parents at home. They were all very kind and my parents remember them fondly. The app was useful for keeping updated as I live at a distance. When my parents moved into a care home they visited to clean and tidy the house to a very high standard.
