The carers provide an excellent service for my dad. They cover lunchtimes and tea times and ensure he has a meal and drinks at these times. They also ensure dad has his medication, empty kitchen bins, washing dad's clothes and provide general companionship. Dad enjoys playing droughts and dominoes with carers. The carers make written notes on a notebook if there is anything I need to know concerning dad. Overall, we're very happy.

I have used the Home Instead team for a number of years now after being recommended by someone who wanted the best care for their mother, and I have not been disappointed. I have been extremely happy with the care given to mum. My request for mum having the same carer has been acted upon which is very important to myself and mum, given the personal care she requires. My mum is very happy and comfortable with Sadna's professional care. She is excellent and I have no worries about going away knowing mum is in good hands. The reception staff are always polite and helpful.

All the help and advice at the initial consultation was extremely useful. My parents had waking night care for 9 weeks following emergency surgery for my Father. My Mother has Alzheimers. They had the same carer for the 9 weeks who was wonderful. She was very respectful of my parents who had differing care needs, and of their home. She passed on information about each session and was a competent and compassionate carer. Fortunately my Father has improved so waking night care is no longer required but we would definitely use Home Instead in the future if necessary.

Really look forward to my carers coming to visit. They're all lovely, helpful and lift my spirits.

The team are always helpful and readily available. I like the fact that the staff who visit my dad are constantly in the main the same ones so he gets to know them and recognise them. The team offer advice and good tips to help me manage him as the dementia progressed. I would happily recommend Home Instead to other people as they were recommended to me.

Homeinstead Burnley looked after my dad from January 2026 until mid August 2026 when he moved into a care home.

My mum had died in the November, Dad had collapsed and been in hospital for 3 weeks at the same time, my brother lives abroad and I am the other end of the country. We were so worried about how dad would be once we had to go back to our homes in January. And we needn't have.

The HomeInstead team, from managers to carers were all amazing. Kind, respectful of and to dad, and great communication at all times, not just at formal review times. As we are so far away, they would take dad to appointments, keep an eye on letters/ things around the house, even installed a ring doorbell for us!

The whole team made a very sad stressful time so much easier, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Home Instead have cared for my Mum for many years and I cannot praise or thank them enough. They are a first class care company and superb in every way, always so caring and professional. Mum always looked forward to the ladies coming to see her, she had a lovely relationship with them and loved seeing a friendly face and having a chat. They provided excellent care for Mum and gave my sister and I every confidence and peace of mind. The office were great too, always available, and admin wise spot on.

My mother had the best of care from the Home Instead staff. They were prompt , caring, observant and trustworthy. Cat in particular shone out as a phenomenally kind thoughtful and communicative carer.

A brilliant, highly recommended Care Company - gold star. My mother-in-law has been looked after for quite a few months and has been treated like a family member. Suffering from dementia she has been cared for with dignity, patience, encouragement and love. Nothing has been too much for any of her carers and so myself and the rest of Mum's family want to say a big thankyou to all 3 who looked after her. What a fantastic team Home Instead are! My Mum had had a fall and broken her hip and pelvis and when she was recovering in hospital she said she wanted to return home with care. We were so lucky to find Home Instead who come every day to Mum and she looks forward to seeing them. She is still quite active so enjoys baking and socialising. She needs help with showering, washing and drying her hair and Homs Instead are so kind and caring with her. They help with washing clothes and light cleaning in the house which is a great help. Mum is delighted she can stay in her own home with their help and they have become great friends too. We highly recommend them!

It's sometimes very difficult persuading your parents that they need care in the home, but having engaged the professional, caring and friendly team at Home Instead, we and our parents couldn't be happier. We're confident that they are safe and well looked after and we get daily updates on all the visits, which is a great comfort. Over the last 2 years the care needs have fluctuated and Home Instead have been helpful providing advice and offering flexibility to meet our needs. Outstanding Service.

We have had a very good experience with Home Instead Burnley over the last couple of months, a carer comes weekly to help my elderly mum, and she is excellent, a self-starter who will do what my mum wants her to do, but also will spy jobs that need doing and just do them, whether its gardening, household chores or a bit of shopping. She's also a really nice person with a sunny disposition who my mum gets on well with, which provides invaluable companionship for my mum, she has really appreciated what the carer does for her and it brightens her day. We also had another situation that arose, requiring accompanying my dad to a medical appointment, which Home Instead sorted out for us quickly and easily and all passed off very well, with again the carer/driver being very personable and helpful. Home Instead have provided care for my wife for last two years. She has dementia and is immobile. Sometimes, she can be difficult to deal with. I have the greatest respect for all the carers who have dealt with my wife and for the management and administrative support. They are extremely competent, compassionate, friendly, patient and professional. I have been very satisfied with the services provided throughout Home Instead's involvement. I would recommend them to anybody who is seeking a first class.and reliable service.

Home Instead has been providing daily care visits for my father for several years now and without them he would not be able to remain living comfortably in his own home. The carers have become more like family to us and are friendly and efficient. They provide personal care needs, administer medication, prepare meals and ensure household jobs like laundry, making beds and emptying bins are completed. Communication with management is easy and enables us to adjust to ever changing care requirements, such as helping with showering and transport to and from health appointments. The minimum one hour visit allows for interactions between my father and carers to be unrushed and meaningful. My father's mobility is poor and he rarely leaves the house, so he really values seeing a friendly face (who isn't family!) and chatting about topics of interest.

You have been providing support in the home to my mother who is 90 since January. I cannot praise you and your Team enough for the care, consideration and sensitivity you have shown in this time. Nothing is too much trouble for you and your people and my mum has become stronger and more independent because of the support she receives from you. As a family we feel assured that she has people around her who will take care of her needs. thank you.
