Our dad has dementia and when our mum died unexpectedly in June this year we knew that it would be best for him to remain at home in a place he knew where he functions at his best. We also wanted to preserve his independence and dignity. We recognised that this could only happen with round the clock live in care. Home Instead quickly and efficiently put together a package of live in care for dad. They assessed his needs and his home with our input and created a bespoke care regime which enables him to do all of the activities he did with mum plus some extra outings and events. Dad's carers are all wonderful caring and engaged people. Plus we have the security of a messaging app system to communicate with Home Instead and access to dad's care notes which brings us peace of mind.

From the moment we spoke to Home Instead at what was a really sad time loosing our mum and looking for the best options for dad to stay at home living with dementia the care , compassion and practical help has been excellent. The carers are kind and considerate but also have enabled and encouraged dad to do more things walks, visits and clubs improving his quality of life. Gives us peace of mind .

Home instead have started providing care for my grandmother and I couldn't fault it. The ladies are all lovely and friendly! she was once so against the thought of a carer but now really looks forward to them coming each day . I only wish I would have done it earlier !

We have used home instead for a year now and they have great. We have had difficulty getting my mother in law to agree to any help and she is still determined that she can manage on her but the girls have been great just checking up on her and helping where they can.

I highly recommend Home Instead Bolton for their exceptional and well-organised care for my Mum. They helped give our family complete peace of mind. Mum liked all her Caregivers. Calls were always on time, and staff regularly went above and beyond. Their personal care was outstanding, handling Mum's physical needs with dignity and gentleness. They managed her morning routines effortlessly, getting Mum up and helping her into the bath each day. In the evenings, they settled her comfortably, making a bedtime drink and helping her into bed. They looked after her house, hoovering, changing bedsheets weekly, and doing laundry. They assisted with nutrition, making sandwiches for lunch and feeding Mum. They even cared for Sophie her cat. The team kept Mum engaged by chatting to her and playing games even suggesting practical items like Velcro slippers. Administratively, they were excellent, offering great flexibility. With a clear management hierarchy, they are an ideal choice and fair value.

Great service. Always smiling and happy to chat with mum. They don't get phased if she's having an off day and doesn't want any help. They talk about anything to get her engaged and build rapport so when they ask her to take her medication she is happy to comply.

Home Instead have been fantastic in supporting my mum for the last 4 years. The ladies who called each evening to make her a meal were helpful and friendly. They were always on time and the office would call if there was even a problem. Also the staff at the high peak office have been extremely helpful. Thank you to you all.

The staff at Home Instead are excellent and they do a very good job at looking after mum. They make her lunch for her and will do any jobs she asks them to do. The service is particularly useful when im on holiday because I know there will be someone calling in to check on mum at least twice a week.

Our three carers are really friendly and amenable and it's a pleasure to welcome them into our home. They are always ready to help with whatever task we ask of them and look after my husband with a smile on their faces.

I needed live in carer whilst waiting for an operation on my knee, when the call came to go in for op. The carer came with me & saw me settled. Op went well, but due to low blood pressure had to stay an extra 2 days. On the day home, my leg became swollen carer organised a doctor & ambulance for a one night stay in hospital, came out next a.m. with medication for thrombosis. My full time carer went for the next job & my local Home Instead came for 2 weeks. 3 times a day, lovely carers and excellent service all round.

The management team encourage and welcomes communication and care that is helpful at all times.

Boundaries between H.I, management, and clients seem confused, felt as if I was treated as a member of staff rather than a paying client

Home Instead were always professional and courteous. Staff were generally lovely and very caring. Some were exceptional in the care shown towards mum. We wouldn't hesitate recommending them or using them again should we need care.
