Home Instead have made a difficult situation much more manageable and for that I cannot thank them enough.

...we are quite concerned about the time allowed for travel between clients on a road system incessantly clogged with repair.

We've been using Home instead for 3 years now. We are extremely happy with the care the client receives. Everyone from management to care staff, are wonderful and really go the extra mile to ensure needs are met, if not exceeded. Recently I needed to contact Management who were wonderful, highly responsive and supportive to the changes in condition, and are passionate about ensuring the wellbeing and dignity of their client. The carers are also wonderful and I regularly get phone calls from the client telling me excitedly about an activity they did together, or something funny that happened.

Communication with the office staff is, usually , easy enough

We have used Home Instead South Lanarkshire to support both Mum and Dad for the last 3 or 4 years. Every member of the team is so warm, friendly and helpful and this has allowed them to remain in their home. My Dad had to go to a home latterly and the support the team from Home Instead gave was incredible and they were so supportive of us as a family and caring for my Dad. We have now kept Home Instead going into see my Mum daily now and knowing that someone is going into see her and help her in anything she requires gives us real peace of mind. Cannot thank them enough.

I found staff to be very friendly,approachable &understanding of our situation .They listened and spoke about ways to set goals potentially enabling progress .Service has run a short time though has afforded me respite :)

Overall very happy with the service. The manager is approachable and listens to the needs we require and amends tasks and app appropriately. Staff vary in attitude and aptitude but I have found working with them and providing clarity has helped. It is a case of matching skills to tasks. All staff are pleasant and kind to my parents.

The service is working very well. My mother is at times resistant to the at-home support provided but the carers are able to keep delivering. The frequency and duration feels about right. Winter is the most difficult season in terms of care needs and minimising isolation, and that's another one well managed.

There is nothing that I have asked my home service provider to help with that hasn't been offered with enthusiasm.

Although my personal care needs are still minimal at this stage, I continue to grow in confidence with my staff member.

I now feel I have more peace of mind in facing future difficulties

The care provided is excellent. Carers show respect and concern and are very flexible and responsive to needs on any given day. Carers often find interests and have good ideas for taking care and improving things.

From engaging the service through to delivery of care I am very happy.

Apart from the practical side of taking her shopping it is good for mum to have a chat with her carer every week.

We are delighted with our experience with Home Instead. My husband has weekly showers and very much looks forward to the care giver's visits. She is always prompt and reliable and goes about her work in a very professional and caring way. She is encouraging and patient and we have built up a very good rapport whereby we have a very good working relationship with the caregiver and the company.

The staff at Home Instead have provided a first class service that enabled my parents to live at home in familiar surroundings with dignity. Issues were immediately addressed and the service was continually tailored to meet my parents needs.

The family is very pleased with all aspects of Home Instead - care, communication, timely notification of any changes. Our local contacts are excellent and are most approachable and helpful. Indeed they have gone out of their way to meet our relative's wishes.

We have peace of mind that our relative is being well cared for.

Mum is very happy with the service that Homecare provides. The carers are helpful and chat to my mum, which I think is very beneficial to her. If there are any schedule changes, they are always communicated to us in advance, which is appreciated.

I would happily recommend Home Instead-their warmth and approachability make life easier, and they've made a genuine difference to my brother's life.

Staff always helpful and ensure all activities are carried out. Detail written on the app very helpful. Polite at all times and informative to family when required. Approachable and no job is too much trouble. Always let you know if they cannot make the allotted time allowing other arrangements to be made.
