Overall Experience

This company are a shining example of how care should be delivered.
My dad has only been accessing Home Instead for a couple of months and what a difference they have made both to him and us as a family.
We are now assured that he is supported and cared for when we cannot be there.

Any issues are

dealt with professionally and efficiently.
Communication is excellent, everybody works as a team and always listens to you.

I would highly recommend this company and its staff!

Overall Experience

I am so impressed with north Lanarkshire and Glasgow east home care service. They have been very professional and reliable at every interaction. They send the same people every week ( subject to availability ) to help my dad shower and dress. My dad speaks highly of the two carers. He has become confident

and comfortable with the individuals and he says they are very polite and respectful - which is so important. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service, a breath of fresh air in term of what they are prepared to do and always available to respond to any requests. Detailed notes from carers, always willing to actively ask questions should there be any doubts and understand that its a challenge to be the carer and do everything in their

power to take the weight off you, cannot recommend them enough.

Overall Experience

I am pleased to say I feel the benefits of the service of Home Instead. My family also are feeling the benefit of the service. The home help service is very good and I enjoy looking forward to my carer coming once a week. The support, whether it be housework or chatting or discussing different topics,

Overall Experience

Had never dealt with a home carer before, but was impressed when dealing with Megan and other staff in person and on the phone. They were all very helpful and informative of what they could provide for my mum in terms of personal care when i took a respite break. The only thing was my mum got a couple

of different staff so it would have been nice to keep the same member for the week, although i know this is not always possible in terms of staff rotas etc. In saying that every staff member that came were lovely to my mum and she really enjoyed the little chats after the personal care was received. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Home Instead as they were great in me feeling confident in having a break and knowing she was in good hands.

Overall Experience

This is the 3rd service user I have used. Also, the very best for punctuality and service, they help me as a mother of a service user. Any problems have been solved immediately. I must admit that the following support workers are exceptionally good with my daughter and myself. 4 members of staff in

particular. I have no complaints about the others, as they are all very good.

Very positive experience with my mum, and myself able to ask questions on my sister's behalf. Also, information about what activities and participation by sister explained. Very relaxed review with my sister, my mum, and myself encouraged to participate.

Overall Experience

My mum was very reluctant to use this service, however she was delighted with the 2 staff members who came to our home for a period of a week to cover a family holiday.
A very professional friendly service
Staff members arrived on time every evening, cooked dinner and kept my mum company for the remainder

of the time

10/10 will certainly use this service in the future

Overall Experience

We initially contacted Home Instead to discuss providing care for Mum to allow us to go on holiday. Mum was adamant that she didn't want anyone coming into her home. The Care Manager was extremely helpful and came to discuss options with us. A dedicated carer was allocated and introduced to Mum with

days and times agreed. On returning from holiday we have continued to use this service as Mum is now happy and confident about them coming into her home.
The great benefit is that Mum has a dedicated carer allowing a good rapport to be built up and she enjoys the company and chats. All work carried out is to the highest standard and the online reviews after each visit allows us to know what has been done and how Mum was during the visit.
As sole carers this service has provided us with more freedom knowing that her needs are being well cared for.
All staff have been extremely helpful and professional meeting our needs and providing support.
Thanks to all staff. We would have no hesitation

Overall Experience

Fabulous service for my dad who has Alzheimers. Split between 2 consistent carers they come in for 1 hour each day for evening meal preparation and some household chores. A great rapport and trust has been built up really quickly between both my dad and me. Two way easy communication with both the

carers and the office. The App is also great for knowing what had happened on each visit.

Overall Experience

The Lanarkshire team led by the manager are wonderful. They're all friendly and always happy to help. They have been a God send. We have been using them since last July to help support our learning disabled brother after an operation. We were a bit unsure if this would work, but, we did not need to

worry - The manager and her team have been amazing. So much so, that once he had recovered from the Op, we have kept the connection with Home Instead going and they provide a wonderful companion service for him every second Sunday, which he loves. I can rest, knowing he has the company and interaction that he needs and builds his confidence as it is his friends he is going out with not "just his sister" . In March, my sister and I were able to go on holiday knowing my brother would be seeing a friendly faces while we were away.

I have recommend them to all my friends - quite a few now are finding life a lot more manageable with the help of Home Instead.

I am extremely pleased and happy with the Home Instead service. All of the carers who attend my mother are excellent taking time to talk to my mum and listen to her needs. I especially love the App which allows me to read about how my mum has been each day the carers visit and it is updated in real

time. Very happy with the service!

Overall Experience

My mum is very determined to not have any visitor that is not family but we managed to get her to agree to try Home Instead for a trial period. Unfortunately, this did not work as my mum will not be convinced of the benefits of the visit

However, this was not the fault of the Home Instead visitor

who was very good at making a connection with my mum and getting her engaged during the visits. This is a great credit to the visitor because my mum has very bad short term memory.
