My sister & I are beyond happy with the amazing care Home Instead Huntingdon provided for our Mum for nearly 4 years right up until her peaceful, dignified death at home aged 102. The carers go the extra mile and really do care. Not just the cleaning, shopping, feeding, washing and company etc (which is reliable and brilliant) but also the interest, the laughter and friendship and real true care from the heart. We feel lucky to have used them as did our Mum. A huge shoutout and thank you to the team and carers.

The ladies from HI guided us through this nightmare; they were kind and engaged, with enormous reserves of energy and humour. Without them we'd have failed.

Before a spell in hospital and having to go into a care home, my mother was looked after at home by Home Instead for 2 -3 years and built up an excellent rapport with her carers. They became friends, rather than just carers and were extremely helpful coming in each morning and setting her up for the day. This undoubtedly helped her to remain living at home longer than she would have been able to otherwise. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending them to anyone who has elderly relatives that need looking after.

Home Instead started looking after my late mum in the summer of 2025. It surpassed our family expectations. The carers were fantastic, helping mum with household tasks that she could no longer undertake and chatting to her as they went about their work. Mum was so complimentary about all her carers, she had a regular team and she built up a great relationship with each of them. They were professional, hard working, flexible and most importantly kind and caring towards her. They also reported each day on an app which was brilliant, my brother lives abroad and I lived some way away. This meant we were able to get daily reassurance on mum's health and well being. If we had found Home Instead before last summer we would have employed them sooner. I would have no hesitation on recommending them. They are first class.

My late mother was cared for by home instead, the level of care was first class, this gave me great comfort knowing that my mum was getting great care and love, nothing was to much when my mum needed that extra support, home instead was always on call if I needed any extra assistance, mum got to know her carers very well she always had the same carers suzi and Suzanne, mum had the perfect relationship with suzi and Suzanne, they looked after my mum as if she was there own mum. Mum realised how important they were to her and she came to depend on them, this was very important to mum as mum liked things done her way, which was never an issue with the carers, mum got very attached to her two carers.which was comforting for me knowing my mum had the right care. I highly recommend home instead nothing was to much for them when mum needed extra help.

I cannot recommend Home Instead highly enough. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication have made a real difference to our lives.

Following an accident, I needed help in the short term with personal care and light housework. This was quickly managed. My helpers were supportive and, as I became more able, encouraged me towards independence.

The carers have all been outstanding and trusted by our mother and family.

Overall my Mum's care is fantastic, she really appreciates the majority of her carers help. She can be impatient and critical at times, I would love to be a fly on the wall as I can only go on what she chooses to tell me. All my dealings with the office staff over the phone have been brilliant and requests are put in place as quickly as possible. Also my communications face to face with staff and carers has been supportive and reassuring. It's important to know that other people are in the same position as yourself or have had those experiences. Being the main person responsible for my Mum's health and happiness is a big worry, never really knowing if she gets enough..attention, food, physical care and emotional support, despite what she tells me. I read and appreciate the app but would love more details and perhaps some pointers for me?? Perhaps more than your remit though. Thank you

Most of the caring staff have been excellent or good, and having the same people most of the time has been greatly appreciated. The office staff are very helpful and immediately registered that my needs are for practical help with a variety of tasks. I find it difficult because of physical frailty, but so far, I remain in full command of my mental faculties and prize independence with individual family support. Independent conversation with carers is an important bonus.

Everyone at Home Instead was been both professional and human while they cared for my father. They brought warmth and humour into his home every day and maintained his dignity throughout. They also responded to his changing needs over the years they cared for him.

His carers were on time, and proactively looked for additional tasks if they finished early. The team was also flexible, providing us with additional care when we needed it.

Would recommend.

My mum received outstanding care from Home Instead. The carers were kind, thoughtful, caring and compassionate. They treated my mum as though she was their mum and my sister and I never had to worry when we knew Home Instead carers were visiting her. The office staff were also very pleasant to deal with. We had an excellent experience throughout the 2 years mum was cared for by Home Instead.

My father is someone who is very active, out & about on his own most days, but has memory loss. He did not need personal care, but he wanted support to live independently in his own home (& didn't want that support to only come from family).

They do some housework, take him shopping to his kind of shops for his next (DIY!) project; accompany him on walks, & encourage him to sing (which he has always loved), & much more.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
