For nearly three years, my mum has received exceptional care from Home Instead, and I cannot rate them highly enough. The carers are kind, compassionate and genuinely caring. They always put Mum at the centre of her care and support her to make her own choices. Since receiving support from Home Instead, Mum's health and wellbeing have improved significantly, and she enjoys the companionship and friendship the carers provide. What makes Home Instead stand out is that they truly put people first. During difficult times, they have also shown kindness and understanding towards me as her daughter, which has meant a great deal. I particularly value that they never send a new carer without first introducing them to Mum, helping her feel comfortable, safe and reassured. Having them has taken a huge weight off my shoulders while balancing work, and caring responsibilities. The team consistently goes above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they do. I highly recommend them.

I believe that it is a testament to Home Instead that some of the Carers have visited my wife in her Care Home and that the Office tolerates, indeed welcomes, me back for a chat now and then. I feel hugely grateful that I engaged Home Instead.

The person who cares for mum is always punctual, does all that we ask her to do and makes time to char with mum. We have always found the care for mum since using you has been good especially if we need anything different the head of the team comes and we discuss what we needs. Always pleasant and personal.

What really stood out was how proactive they were; they didn't just wait to be told what to do, they took the initiative and even helped to expedite getting the right professionals involved, including an Occupational Therapist, which made such a difference to Dad's care. They were also wonderfully flexible and accommodating whenever we had requests or needed things to change at short notice, always making us feel heard and supported. I am so glad my father was in their hands - it gave us real peace of mind and made life so much easier at a time when we needed it most. Thank you to the whole team.

Home Instead carried out an excellent review of my mother's needs and suggested an appropriate care plan to ensure she was safe. I would highly rate the quality of care my mother receives as well as the excellent customer service whenever I need to make changes to the plan. The carers spend quality time with my mum getting to know her and her needs. They are all happy, caring and very professional. I've been very impressed by how they raise concerns and act on these very quickly. I can highly recommend this company.

My mum and her sister have regular care from Home Instead. They both are very happy with the service. They like the ladies who come to look after them very much. They tell me that they feel that all the ladies genuinely care about them. Having Home Instead come to look after them means they can stay in their own home which I believe gives them peace and happiness.

Got my mum a care plan with this company in January 2025. Easy to set up. Service provided was exemplary from set up to when my mum passed away. The caring staff were brilliant and I view the daily visits through the app on my phone as I wasn't that local to mum. The admin staff were brilliant. Can't fault anyone and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for care providers.

I can't praise Home Instead Braintree highly enough. The staff are genuinely caring and kind, making time to chat with Mum when they can, as well as helping her with tasks she finds more difficult these days such as changing bed clothes, ironing, putting out wet washing, setting up the heavy sun parasol in the garden in this heatwave.

The staff are thoughtful with the reports that they write so that I can stay in touch with what they did or found during their visits (eg. meds not taken, key left in front door so they couldn't get in the front, equipment problems etc), which makes it so much easier for me to support Mum when I live 50 minutes away. The app where they log their reports is a game changer.

Yes it could seem costly but being able to have an hour's visit, so that carers build rapport with Mum and actually have time to chat as well, is well worth it. Their visits give me peace of mind.

Excellent care which enables my 92yr old father with dementia to stay living in the comfort and familiarity of his own home.. Communication is rapid and thoughtful.. Carers are kind, patient and provide wonderful support..

They were able to set up care for my mother at very short notice. The home assessment was thorough and all our questions were answered. A detailed care plan was developed. Despite the short notice we met the carer before she started and felt reassured. It is early days but so far we are very happy with how things are going and my mother now has the support she needs for showering and dressing.

Since joining Home Instead, it has been such a good experience. My problems, however small, are resolved very quickly. I have a lot more confidence knowing the care professional is coming, knowing she will resolve any issues. I get stressed very easily, and my carer comes and sorts me out. She is willing to help me in any way and will do anything for me. If I knew anyone who needed care, I would strongly recommend Home Instead.

My uncle was struggling to look after himself living at home by himself. He was 86 and ageing rapidly, both mentally and physically. He needed assistance with housework, cleaning, laundry and shopping. Most importantly he needed companionship. Having reluctantly agreed to use Home Instead he quickly realised how much help he did need and looked forward to the visits from his lovely carers who really looked after him well.
