Home Instead provided us with a superb carer to take my husband with dementia to snooker. They matched him up with the perfect person who treated him with dignity and respect. Unfortunately my husband has now digressd so cannot use the service but I would have no hesitation recommending this company.

My mum has received support from you since October 2025 and this is helping her stay in her own home which is where she wants to be. The difference this makes to her life is huge. My mum's mobility has deteriorated and so she is no longer able to move around her home without assistance. Mum has peace
of mind that she has the same lady, at the same time each visit and this has allowed a trusting/good relationship, to be built, so much so that even when my mum has been in hospital she was happy for her lady to still go to the house to receive the shopping etc so all was ready for when she came home.
Anybody caring for an elderly relative will know that as their care needs rise and their independence reduces having the support from others is a massive weight of your shoulders as you just cant do it all yourself. You can then go back to being a daughter and that is lovely. Mum looks forward to the visits - thank you.

We needed help in our hour of need with morning care for our mum. From the first point of contact, who came round to meet us and mum, assessed our situation and what we needed. The lovely carer ladies that came in to help mum getting up & ready for the day were absolutely amazing with her, we got
daily reports via the app.
The care they gave was respectful, kind and thoughtful.
I would highly recomment this homècare company.

I highly recommend Home Instead Basildon, they have been so supportive, kind and friendly, could not have asked for better. From the initial meeting, putting a plan in place and then meeting the wonderful carers made my sister and I feel comfortable that our mum would get the best care and she has,

My mother and her sister have been receiving care from Home Instead 3 times a day for several years now. I can honestly say the ladies who look after them are all amazing. My mum and aunt both say that they feel that the ladies genuinely care about them. I can see that my mum and aunt are happy and
that means the world to me.


I think having the App is great because I can always see if there's any issues or anything I need to sort out. It gives me peace of mind.


The ladies who organise the admin and the visits also go above and beyond and this really helps me.


I am very grateful for Home Instead, as my mum and aunt can live at home together at 90 and 92 years old.


Having Home Instead look after them gives me a feeling of calm and takes the stress away.

Mum has been having one hour visits every day for a year now. She has had the same three carers for the whole time and she has a good relationship with all three. They are caring and supportive and have become more like friends. As she lives alone and I am over an hour away this makes a massive difference
to her day. She loves to go for a walk and they happily take her come rain or shine.
I have an app where I can see details of each visit but if anything out of the ordinary happens the office always call me straight away. If someone is ill or going to be late they always call mum and no one is ever sent who hasn't been previously introduced to Mum.
We can't fault this service. They are brilliant and thank you to everyone involved in my mums care.

Home instead have been fantastic. They have taken good care of my aging mother for several years ending last Oct. when my mother was sadly hospitalized, and can no longer live at home. The wonderful ladies visited her at home 2, then later 3 times per day, taking care of all of her needs including personal
hygiene, laundry, 3 meals a day and very importantly friendship and social interaction. I live overseas, so knowing that my mother was in such good hands was a massive relief for me. I would like to thank all of the team for their professionalism and hard work, sometimes under difficult circumstances.

We have been using HomeInstead, for just under a year. And have found the staff to be excellent, caring, and understanding. Without fail all staff members listen and communicate well. Take on board what is said, and explore ways to meet ever changing needs.
Despite Social Care telling me to find a
cheaper care provider so I could get more hours (yes that really happened)!. I will be sticking with this organisation, staff are well trained and understand their role with the person who they are caring for.

We have been using Home Instead for daily care for dad for some years and the service they have provided has been fantastic. From dealing with the office staff/managers to the individual carers there have never been any issues and they all provide an excellent service and all of them really care about
their clients. I would highly recommend them.

My Father was one of the first clients they had! From start to finish they treated Dad with the utmost dignity and respect! He adored his carers especially one who I'm not sure I'm allowed to name but I will! lol! Toni! He always said she was his friend not just a carer! however, the rest of the team
were also brilliant with him. They would accommodate last minute call outs, and never let me down! I live in Lincolnshire, Dad was in Halstead so I needed a company that I could trust and rely on. I cannot recommend them enough. Sadly my Father passed away in November. Who is sadly missed but I know he can rest in peace and I can have peace knowing how much he was looked after by Mike and his amazing team! Thank you to everyone. X

Home Instead Basildon has been providing care for my dad for almost a year. As I don't live close to my dad,I was initially worried about him having carers but I need not have been concerned. Following my initial enquiry I felt supported and reassured by management that dad would be well cared for.
A small team of carers were selected to care for my dad and they have been kind, caring, respectful and professional. Dad has grown to trust them and enjoys their visits. When health issues have arisen the carers have raised concerns promptly with medical professionals and accessed the treatment dad needed. The app recording each visit and giving an overview of dad's physical and mental well-being has been really useful. Management are easily accessible and responsive.
Overall I have been extremely pleased with the quality of care and support dad and myself have received. Thank you.

Generally pleased with the service received from the agency both in the manner in which the office has dealt with updates etc and the quality of the care staff.
My parents have benefitted from having care from your agency. The difference it has made to my Dad in having care is significant and the respite

The carers were really helpful and supportive of my parents when they need care after recovering from an operation. They were very friendly and I thought the App, in which the carer would leave comments after visiting were very reassuring to read.
