I am happy with the service - completely!
Since joining Home Instead, it has been such a good experience. My problems, however small, are resolved very quickly. I have a lot more confidence knowing the care professional is coming, knowing she will resolve any issues. I get stressed very easily, and my carer comes and sorts me out. She is willing to help me in any way and will do anything for me. If I knew anyone who needed care, I would strongly recommend Home Instead.
My uncle was struggling to look after himself living at home by himself. He was 86 and ageing rapidly, both mentally and physically. He needed assistance with housework, cleaning, laundry and shopping. Most importantly he needed companionship. Having reluctantly agreed to use Home Instead he quickly realised how much help he did need and looked forward to the visits from his lovely carers who really looked after him well.
Anybody caring for an elderly relative will know that as their care needs rise and their independence reduces having the support from others is a massive weight of your shoulders as you just cant do it all yourself. You can then go back to being a daughter and that is lovely. Mum looks forward to the visits - thank you.
Excellent, could not be better. All carers lovely and become friends.
My mother and her sister have been receiving care from Home Instead 3 times a day for several years now. I can honestly say the ladies who look after them are all amazing. My mum and aunt both say that they feel that the ladies genuinely care about them. I can see that my mum and aunt are happy and that means the world to me.
I think having the App is great because I can always see if there's any issues or anything I need to sort out. It gives me peace of mind.
The ladies who organise the admin and the visits also go above and beyond and this really helps me.
I am very grateful for Home Instead, as my mum and aunt can live at home together at 90 and 92 years old.
Thank you for all you do.
I have an app where I can see details of each visit but if anything out of the ordinary happens the office always call me straight away. If someone is ill or going to be late they always call mum and no one is ever sent who hasn't been previously introduced to Mum.
We can't fault this service. They are brilliant and thank you to everyone involved in my mums care.
Home instead have been fantastic. They have taken good care of my aging mother for several years ending last Oct. when my mother was sadly hospitalized, and can no longer live at home. The wonderful ladies visited her at home 2, then later 3 times per day, taking care of all of her needs including personal hygiene, laundry, 3 meals a day and very importantly friendship and social interaction. I live overseas, so knowing that my mother was in such good hands was a massive relief for me. I would like to thank all of the team for their professionalism and hard work, sometimes under difficult circumstances.
It's also of benefit and help to me knowing she is in good hands.
They brighten her day whenever & whoever is on duty.
The overall service is superb.
Mum trusts them, feels safe & looks forward to the visits..
Throughly recommend Home Instead.
We would have no hesitation in using your services again if our parents ever need help in the future.
They are all very good to my Mum too who finds my Dad's illness very difficult at times.
Thank you!
I cannot praise the service from Home Instead from all of the team from office to the ladies that provided the care for my dad. They looked after dad for a couple of years and as his needs changed they quickly reassessed his needs to make sure he was getting the best care. They developed really good relationships with dad and would work with him whatever mood he was in.Earlier this year he started to deteriorate significantly, the ladies that came to help him were all exemplary, it made such a difference to a stressful and upsetting time for dad and us, as his family. Right up to when dad passed away everyone at Home Instead gave incredible support and care. We remain grateful for their care.
I have found the company very caring and helpful. I'm very impressed by how both client and carers are watched up, and when and where possible. I highly recommend you. Thank you all for the help and support.
Home Instead have been amazing (especially 1 wonderful lady) in allowing Mum (85) to remain independent for as long as possible. We live over 2 hours away from Mum so Home Instead provided us with the reassurance that as well as providing company to Mum, someone was an extra pair of "eyes and ears" on Mum whilst living alone. Mum's carer became a trusted friend to Mum, who looked forward to her visits. She also made the transition to an assisted living facility an adventure for Mum to look forward to and get excited about rather than a daunting experience of leaving her home of 55 years. We will be eternally grateful for your help, love and patience over the months that you spent with Mum. Thank you

Caring is not just about the practical services but also the companionship that Home Instead offer.
I would thoroughly recommend Home Instead if you are looking for care for a loved one in their own home. Their team of carers are totally reliable, very compassionate and I had peace of mind that my 98-year-old uncle and 95 year old auntie absolutely were in the safest hands.
All the ladies were competent, caring and diligent, quick to let us know of any issues and make helpful suggestions. We had full confidence in them. They adapted quickly to changes we let them know about.
They were lovely with Dad, developing a wonderful relationship with him. He was relaxed and comfortable with each one, such a testament to them, as during this time my step mother died and he was grieving. Despite all he was going through they managed to keep his spirits up and even make him laugh.
They helped us too, easing our load in a stressful time.
The team in the office were excellent, keeping in contact and responding quickly when needed. The Birdie app was very helpful for the family to see how he was getting on.
Great care for my father-in-law over the past 18 months. The care providers and the office staff took the time to get to know his needs and deal with any challenges that they were presented with. Visits were rearranged to accommodate taking him to doctor or dental appointments, nothing seemed too much trouble. Any concerns raised were listened to and dealt with accordingly. A special thank you to his carer who must have the patience of a saint! Highly recommend Home Instead.
