The carers were really helpful and supportive of my parents when they need care after recovering from an operation. They were very friendly and I thought the App, in which the carer would leave comments after visiting were very reassuring to read.
We would have no hesitation in using your services
again if our parents ever need help in the future.

Carers for my Dad have gone above what's expected of them to ensure continuity of care. He has dementia and change is very hard for him. One carer came in on her day off so Dad wouldn't have to have a carer he didn't know.
They are all very good to my Mum too who finds my Dad's illness very difficult
at times.

I cannot praise the service from Home Instead from all of the team from office to the ladies that provided the care for my dad. They looked after dad for a couple of years and as his needs changed they quickly reassessed his needs to make sure he was getting the best care. They developed really good
relationships with dad and would work with him whatever mood he was in.Earlier this year he started to deteriorate significantly, the ladies that came to help him were all exemplary, it made such a difference to a stressful and upsetting time for dad and us, as his family. Right up to when dad passed away everyone at Home Instead gave incredible support and care. We remain grateful for their care.

Home Instead have been amazing (especially 1 wonderful lady) in allowing Mum (85) to remain independent for as long as possible. We live over 2 hours away from Mum so Home Instead provided us with the reassurance that as well as providing company to Mum, someone was an extra pair of "eyes and ears"
on Mum whilst living alone. Mum's carer became a trusted friend to Mum, who looked forward to her visits. She also made the transition to an assisted living facility an adventure for Mum to look forward to and get excited about rather than a daunting experience of leaving her home of 55 years. We will be eternally grateful for your help, love and patience over the months that you spent with Mum. Thank you

I would thoroughly recommend Home Instead if you are looking for care for a loved one in their own home. Their team of carers are totally reliable, very compassionate and I had peace of mind that my 98-year-old uncle and 95 year old auntie absolutely were in the safest hands.

Home Instead provided exemplary care for my father. They helped him wash and dress for the day, made breakfast and assisted with his medical/personal needs. In the evening they prepared his meal and drinks, assisted with medical/personal needs and helped him to bed.
All the ladies were competent,
caring and diligent, quick to let us know of any issues and make helpful suggestions. We had full confidence in them. They adapted quickly to changes we let them know about.
They were lovely with Dad, developing a wonderful relationship with him. He was relaxed and comfortable with each one, such a testament to them, as during this time my step mother died and he was grieving. Despite all he was going through they managed to keep his spirits up and even make him laugh.
They helped us too, easing our load in a stressful time.
The team in the office were excellent, keeping in contact and responding quickly when needed. The Birdie app was very helpful for the family to see how he was getting on.

Great care for my father-in-law over the past 18 months. The care providers and the office staff took the time to get to know his needs and deal with any challenges that they were presented with. Visits were rearranged to accommodate taking him to doctor or dental appointments, nothing seemed too much
trouble. Any concerns raised were listened to and dealt with accordingly. A special thank you to his carer who must have the patience of a saint! Highly recommend Home Instead.

I had two different workers look after my wife for three hours twice a week. It was only when she went into full time care that those sessions ended. I was very satisfied with the way the two ladies dealt with my wife who with advanced dementia could be difficult at times.

My mother and her sister receive outstanding care and kindness from the three wonderful ladies who come in to help them. They are genuinely caring and my mother and her sister look forward to seeing them.
I can also say that the office staff are always helpful and supportive.

Home Instead looked after my mum and dad for years. My dad was quite tricky but they always found the right person to look after him before he had to go into a care home. Everyone from office staff to carers have been fantastic. Definitely a big shout out to one staff member in particular who has been

Carers from Home Instead were crucial to my recovery after my left hip replacement operation. Recooperative care was excellent. Team attendance was ready to help with any tasks, and the care manager was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process.

Home Instead cared for my father performing a number of duties over 21 months after our mother died until Dad had to go into a home. If there was a problem or he needed something the office informed us. Both his main carers were kind, patient and very helpful entertaining him and endeavouring to ensure
he ate his breakfast. Had it not been for the efforts of his main carers, I am sure Dad would have had to go into a home earlier than he did. Home Instead had been recommended to us by relatives of other users and I recommend them to friends requiring care assistance for their relatives.

Home Instead has proved to be the perfect choice to help with the care of my mum. The staff were extremely helpful and caring from the beginning, taking the utmost care and consideration in pairing my mum with the ideal match of carers for her needs. Each of the carers that visit her has been very kind,
caring, and considerate and become good friends as well as being extremely professional. The regular follow-ups and reviews of her care are most helpful too. I cannot praise the whole staff across the board more highly and would recommend the company to anyone needing care.

My mum began using Home Instead around 2019 to provide lunchtime visits at the weekends and also took her out to lunch one day a week. As her health declined we used Home Instead more and over the last couple of years they visited Mum 7 days a week to provide a cooked meal and do her housework.
Myself
and my family will be forever grateful to the staff of Home Instead for the kindness and professional care they provided Mum.
Never less than 100% professional they never once let us down over the years even during covid.
They made Mum her favourite meals and would help her eat and drink and sit with her at lunchtime chatting or looking over old photos which my Mum loved.
Without Home Instead, my Mum couldn't have remained in her own home which she loved.
Sadly Mum passed away recently at the age of 90. I truly believe that without the care and dedication provided by Home Instead, we would have lost her far sooner. Thank you. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead.

All the carers looked after my Father brilliantly. He enjoyed their company. All are very friendly and understanding. Any problems were resolved quickly. Their help gave me some time to myself as I was his full-time career. Would recommend it.

Home Instead has been looking after my 87-year-old Mother for some time now. The quantity of care, communication, and professionalism is first-rate, which is hugely important to me living several thousand miles away, and only able to visit a few times per year. They arrange medical appointments, communicate
shopping needs, and many other important areas that would be difficult if not impossible for me to deal with.
The carers live up to their title - they do care, and my Mother loves to sit and chat with every one of them. Thank you for all you do.
