Home Instead have been central to my parents' care for a long time. Their carers provide thoughtful, reliable support for our Mum, who has both medical needs and communication challenges. They adjust their approach to ensure she feels safe, understood and respected. They have also been outstandingly flexible in emergencies, stepping in without hesitation and working with us to resolve issues quickly. The visit update app adds real transparency and peace of mind, allowing us to see exactly how each visit has gone. The team work closely with us and with other professionals, responding swiftly to our needs. Support has been extended to medical appointments, visits to see Dad and social time out for Mum for coffee and a break. With Dad now in care, Home Instead have demonstrated consistency, skill and responsiveness which is crucial in keeping Mum living at home.

These wonderful ladies cared for my husband for almost six years until he passed. We as a family couldnt have asked for anyone better. Always kind and respectful to us all. They were like friends coming in every day.

The overall HI experience is excellent. The carers are kind, thoughtful and dependable. I get the impression that they adjust their care very well to a very wide range of needs. The administrators are flexible, transparent and communicative, supporting a very effective overall package.

Very friendly, flexible and accommodating. They look after mum with care and consideration and will move things around at short notice to meet appointments. Mum has recommended them to other friends who might be looking for help.

The ladies providing day to day care are also a lifeline to me and their care has allowed me to maintain my relationship as a daughter. I also believe that their interaction with mum has meant that her dementia symptoms have remained stable. Mum and Dads lives are so much better and thanks to the care from HI and I know mum looks forward to seeing her care ladies.

I can't say enough good things about Home Insteads's care. My Mum is 94 and spent some time in a care home, but we got her home with the help of HI and she is now in her fourth quality year back in her own house surrounded by her own things, enjoying her garden and watching the birds. Although there is always some rotation of HI staff visiting Mum she has got on very well with every one of the carers. One of the things I most appreciate is that the carers allow and encourage Mum's independence, which is important to her. On the other had, the carers always go the extra mile when Mum does need help with anything.

From the start, the service provided is more than mere duty but creating a compassionate relationship with Mum judging her needs. It is more akin to visiting friends creating a balanced situation where Mum still feels she has independence. The level of care has effortlessly grown as Mum's needs advance. Also the care goes above and beyond when unplanned incidents occur by staying longer accompanying her to hospital (and visiting). It is very worthy to add that Home Instead staff are also compassionate and approachable by me who often needs to 'offload' the emotions of experiencing an ageing mother. I such situations Home Instead have imparted experience and knowledge to problem solve and reassure. Home Instead have a wealth of knowledge experience and has obviated the need for various 'help' services.

For nearly three years, my mum has received exceptional care from Home Instead, and I cannot rate them highly enough. The carers are kind, compassionate and genuinely caring. They always put Mum at the centre of her care and support her to make her own choices. Since receiving support from Home Instead, Mum's health and wellbeing have improved significantly, and she enjoys the companionship and friendship the carers provide. What makes Home Instead stand out is that they truly put people first. During difficult times, they have also shown kindness and understanding towards me as her daughter, which has meant a great deal. I particularly value that they never send a new carer without first introducing them to Mum, helping her feel comfortable, safe and reassured. Having them has taken a huge weight off my shoulders while balancing work, and caring responsibilities. The team consistently goes above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful for everything they do. I highly recommend them.

I believe that it is a testament to Home Instead that some of the Carers have visited my wife in her Care Home and that the Office tolerates, indeed welcomes, me back for a chat now and then. I feel hugely grateful that I engaged Home Instead.
