Overall Experience

We have been using Home Instead for over 4 years now. My elderly mum has mobility issues and needs help with daily tasks. She also has full mental capacity. Her care visits include companionship which is desperately needed for her mental well being as well as her physical needs. We are very lucky

to have such wonderful carers for her.

Overall Experience

Very friendly helpful carers who are willing to do anything asked of them. We are both elderly and possibly a bit difficult but our carers always appear happy andco-operative.Than you so much for the help we are receiving from them

Overall Experience

My experience of HomeInstead care has been very good . My mother has been a client for the last 2 years initially receiving companionship visits . These visits enabled me as her daughter and carer to have a break . Mum looked forward to these visits and enjoyed being able to play a game of chess, dominos

and cards as well as taking a part in cake making sessions.
More recently following a major stroke we arranged a live in carer for my mother through Home Instead . This has enabled my mum to remain in her beloved home and receive full time care .
I would recommend Home Instead to any one looking for extra support for their elderly family member to remain at home ..

Overall Experience

The Home Instead carers provide a befriending service to my elderly mother but quite frequently go above and beyond. Because of her early stage dementia, my mother isn't always the easiest person to get on with but I'm kept up to date with any developments or concerns raised by the carers which I can

then follow up. It's a comfort to know I can call the office for advice or to keep them in the loop.

Overall Experience

We are very happy with the caring service provided for my wife who has Alzheimer's.
The two carers who come in the mornings to help wash and dress my wife are very friendly, happy and attentive to her complex needs.
All in all a great service.

Overall Experience

Dad has employed Home Instead care pro's for a number of months now. The assessment process is thorough and meaningful. Home Instead Maidstone know what they are doing. From the management to the care pro's they have proven to be first class lovely people and obviously a happy team of staff. The caregivers

deliver with genuine care and authenticity, having taken an interest in Dad's life before he needed care, so he feels he can talk to them about his life's achievements and the love of his life, his wife. They see him as a person not a patient. On two occasions following a fall at home the care pro's have stayed with Dad for several hours awaiting an ambulance, helping as best they could to make him comfortable and keeping his spirits up with chat and laughter. The Out of office hours service has also been very helpful. I am so pleased that we chose Home Instead Maidstone for Dad's care needs.

Overall Experience

Our experience with Home Instead has been superb since engaging with them a year ago.
My mother has wonderful support from the lady who visits her each week. She is helpful and supportive, in addition to being great company!
It is very comforting to know when circumstances don't allow family members

to support as much as they'd like that a reliable, trusted and kind person is able to be there. So a big thank you for all you do - it makes a big difference to the quality of my mums day to day life.

Overall Experience

I needed help for my husband when I had to have a knee of replacement.
I came across Home Instead and found they were professional , caring , understanding and knew exactly what I needed for my husband.
I didn't have to explain too much they came round saw all the equipment that we have understood

my needs for my husband, ask me when I needed it they were here on the dot of the day I needed help when I came out of hospital and they have been here for the past two months if every day on time, ready for work, talking to my husband, they are kind, friendly and happy people.
It was a pleasure to find somebody who understood what I needed and wasn't rough with my husband and didn't take advantage of his generosity they respected our property all the time and left it the way they found it.
This company is a fantastic asset, I have to have another knee done and I will be coming back to Home Instead.

Overall Experience

The team of carers were brilliant in every respect. They were consistently empathetic, respectful, caring and kind, and they balanced perfectly a professional execution at all of their tasks with a humanity and humour that made being with them a pleasure, and this was with both the client, my father,

as well as his family and friends. They often also went above and beyond their duties to help my father and made sure he had everything he needed to be comfortable. We are incredibly grateful.

Overall Experience

The team at Folkestone initially assisted with care for my Father at home and every effort was made to keep him at home before we had to accept that this was not in his best interests. It was a heart breaking decision at the time as it meant he was separated from my Mum, but the fact that we had tried

everything at home was vital for everyone involved and made the decision easier. Subsequently my Mother required care and the team have been very kind, understanding and very patient during the process of working out Mum's care needs. Now we have a live in carer for my Mother and the responsiveness of switching to this arrangement at her time of need was excellent. Not only making everything happen with 24hours but identifying the right carer in terms of competence and personality.
Only an excellent agency like this could provide these evolving care needs.

Having left hospital after having a serious fall, I contacted home instead and they set up a personal care package at short notice. During the ensuing six weeks, I had a number of different carers, all of whom were very pleasant, sympathetic and helpful.They were unfailingly punctual and were all of

Overall Experience

I highly recommend Home Instead for anyone looking for care in their own home. They have given my sister and I maximum support for the care for our elderly mum.
While they are very professional the carers are very friendly and accommodating to my mum's needs.
We are very impressed that we are able

to see all the notes written by the carers on every visit. This enables us to be fully aware of any situations that may arise every day.
Communication with the manager is excellent. She is very supportive and happy to assist if she can.
I cannot thank them enough for all that they have done over these last few years.

The decision to start to introduce home care to our family member was a daunting, scary thought. After researching some companies, then discussing the services that could be offered, we decided to invite Home Instead to meet us at the family home. The staff were great, introduced themselves without

being pushy, built great rapport and delivered on all their promises.
Staff made good relationships with our loved one, the online summary of their visit was comprehensive and timely. If we ever needed to communicate with Home Instead, they were so on the ball and valued our input too.
We would not have any hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is looking at additional care, you will be treated with respect not just another number on the books.

Overall Experience

Home Instead have supported my partner to live at home following a life changing stroke 5 years ago. I have found their help invaluable, and it has helped us to carry on living together as a couple. Not only do they offer excellent one to one support and personal care to my partner, but they also provide

companion visits to enable me to go out and have a much needed break. Their carers are always kind and caring, with professional standards and very reliable indeed. We have the same regular carers, which means they know his complex health care needs very well and how to use all the special equipment in our home.
