I can't recommend Home instead enough. They really care about their clients. The office and care staff bend over backwards to make sure their client is comfortable. If theres a problem it's quickly resolved with immediate communication. Thank you so much for taking care of our loved one and offloading some of the pressure at this difficult time

The service from Home Instead was something of a lifesaver. We needed someone to help Mum take her medication at the right time, prep some lunch, do some odd jobs etc.

The service has been great, I'm glad we took it on.

Value for money is down just one star as because of where my Mum is based we have to have one 2 hour visit rather than 2x1 hour visits each day.

All in all, a really good service, management team are great, very responsive and helpful at all times!

My mum has received excellent care from Home Instead. They really care. All the care pros go the extra mile and their attention to detail is excellent, even in sometimes challenging circumstances. We would feel totally lost without Home Instead as both my sister and l live quite a way from our parents. We trust them completely.

Overall, a competent and good care agency, without which I would have found it impossible to care for the client. Some staff were obviously less experienced than others, but they adapted well enough. The management were effective and went out of their way to be helpful in times of crisis. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to others looking for a respite care agency.

They treated our mum with dignity and kindness, always making time for a chat or a sing song. The Care Pros have adapted the care as mum's needs have changed recently. All the Care Pros have treated us, as her family, with respect and kindness.

I am very appreciative of the quality and punctuality of the carers who are assisting me in my recuperation after major knee surgery, as this is a difficult time both physically and mentally.

We chose Home Instead to assist with my mother's care a year ago and we have been extremely pleased with the support we have received from the company. We generally have one of three regular carers visiting for an hour every weekday morning and these three individuals have, in their different ways, established a wonderfully warm relationship with my mother. Occasionally, naturally, different carers are assigned, but each one has proved to be thoroughly professional and a pleasure to have in our house. Over the year there have been times when the regular pattern has had to change - sometimes at quite short notice - but the company has dealt with these situations promptly and efficiently. Every member of staff that I have dealt with has gone out of their way to be helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Instead to anyone requiring support at home.

Back to us the family being our eyes and ears - as we are unable to see Mum on a regular basis

The Home Instead Dartford team were absolutely outstanding in the care they gave to our lovely mother, who passed away in October. Their compassionate and professional approach enabled us to safely care for her at home, despite the emotional and physical difficulties attached to the changing needs of a patient with advanced dementia.

The team supported us as a family, working with us, without judgement, at every step. The relief of knowing she was being cared for by people we could trust to look after her with patience and kindness was a huge burden lifted.

My mother has advanced Alzheimer's, and is predominately cared for by my father, who, himself, is of advanced years and poor health. The whole situation was becoming somewhat challenging, and emotionally and physically draining not least for my father.

It was for these reasons that additional care and support was sought. In what is a big leap of faith, and trust, I can honestly say things could not have gone more smoothly with Home Instead. The support workers are second to none. I have the reassurance that someone is on hand, and is responsive to my parents' changing needs. I am kept up to date with my parents' care which gives me the comfort that matters are identified and addressed before they get out of hand.
