Overall Experience

Mum was in very poor health and facing widowhood when Home Instead stepped in; they have transformed her flat from dirty to insanitary, to a beautiful, fresh, clean home, and Mum herself is a different person, healthy and cared for. She loves her carers, she refers to them as more like family than carers,

some she has developed a very close relationship with. I can tell it's genuine on the team's side too. The office team have also been incredibly supportive to me too, and both Mum and I are so thankful to all of them. The care isn't just about keeping her person and surroundings clean, liaising with her GP and administering medication, and cooking her meals, but also getting her to take an interest in life again and being mindful of her mental well-being. Everything the Home Instead team does is to the highest standard; they're very approachable and always wanting to help with whatever situation crops up. We absolutely could not manage without them, and thanks to Home Instead, I've now got the time to attend to mum's admin stuff without the time taken up by daily care. Can't recommend Home Instead highly enough.

Overall Experience

I don't think there is enough room to write here what a difference Home Instead have made to my Grannie who is 102! She was initially very reluctant to have any help as she is very independent but after having another fall and breaking her second hip, even she accepted she 'might' need some help.

We were allocated a particular member of staff and in my Grannie's words 'it has been life changing.' We only have 2 x 1 hr per week, but in that short time this staff member helps Grannie with the jobs she can't manage, helps her bath and makes her some food. Grannie was worried about finding jobs for her to do, but she is so proactive and just seems to know what would be of most help which is exactly what we needed. She never talks down to her or takes over, she is extremely kind and thoughtful and a 'joy to have in the house.'
Grannie actively looks forward to her visits and it has brought me great peace of mind knowing someone as competent as this staff member is there. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead

Overall Experience

The family needed urgent help to care for our almost blind 91 year old father after his wife/ carer was suddenly admitted to hospital and then into a care home environment. Home Instead had a care team in place within 7 days, and they provided much needed companionship, prepared and cooked meals and

kept the home clean and tidy.

Overall Experience

Home Instead have been caring for my aunt for some years now. They are a great team and in recent months have gone above and beyond, to make a difficult situation bearable.
My aunt's situation has been handled with compassion and professionalism. The Home Instead team have provided my aunt with practical

and friendly support, and have worked together to make the system work as well as possible for her.
Everyone I've spoken to in the team has given me great reassurance. In recent weeks, my aunt has gone through a difficult phase, and I felt as if Home Instead (thank you so much to the manager) were providing counselling for myself, as well as emotional support my aunt.
I cannot praise Home Instead highly enough, and if my mum gets to the point where she needs extra help, then these folks would be my first point of call.
I used to think that work in care meant making cups of tea and having a chat. I now know it involves so so much more. Thanks team!

Overall Experience

Firstly I would like thanks the manager and her team for the support and guidance over March/April 2025, in setting up a comprehensive care package for my mum. From the initial phone call they have been amazing. They enabled mum to come home from urgent respite to see if it was possible for mum to remain

in her own home. The care and compassion and expertise the staff have show has been consistent and of high quality.

The communication has been brilliant from them setting up a group chat for family, the scheduler and senior carers plus the manager was a godsend. Having complete transparency with access to the live portal was invaluable and very easy to use.

Mum responded well to all the carers who each began to develop relationships with mum and in the emergency situations that arose were competent and calm helping us as a family to navigate the day to day problems that we were experiencing.

I cannot recommend them enough they are all fantastic.

Overall Experience

The team at Home Instead looked after my Mum for 6 months, the level of care and compassion was exceptional. Having experienced a poor level of service at a different care provider previously, we were initially apprehensive but we've been so happy with Home Instead. They made such a genuine difference

to Mums daily living and her anxiety was greatly reduced having a regular set of warm and friendly carers, all of whom went above and beyond.

Why should you choose Home Instead:

1. They genuinely care about the individual and their needs.
2. Attention to detail - taking the initiative and doing things without guidance, also listening to the families requests - however nuanced.
3. Professional and well trained. All of the staff that looked after Mum were excellent - Home Instead should be proud of the standard of care they are setting and the team of carers they employ.

I highly recommend Home Instead.

We've been extremely impressed by Home Instead since they first started working with our mother. Coordination is fantastic and the companions are reliable and where needed flexible and always patient. Overall Experience

Great office staff who guided us through everything really clearly and professionally.
Mainly great carers who were charming, able, flexible and practical.
It was easy to begin care, also speedy which really helped us but similarly when we needed to cease carers ( for now) we were fairly guided through

Home instead have been looking after my dad for a couple of months now. From the administration to the care has all been excellent. Admin staff are efficient and quick to respond to any issues/concerns. Care staff look after my dad really well- they genuinely care! We had a bad experience with a previous

company and it was stressful for both my dad and his family. Since Home Instead became involved, Dad is more settled and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. It's not the cheapest care, but worth every penny.

Overall Experience

My mum has been cared for by the Home Instead team since October 2023. Since this time we have increased the amount of care she receives - she now has twelve visits a week.
My sister and I are extremely happy with the care mum gets. Mum has Alzheimer's and gets easily confused, so we particularly

like the fact that she sees the same team of ladies, which gives her, and us, confidence that they know her and understand her needs.
We are able to contact the Home Instead team easily if we have any queries, and find them to be willing to help always.
We are more than happy with this service and would recommend Home Instead to anyone looking to have their loved ones cared for at home.

During a difficult time, at the end of life for my Dad, the Home Instead carers went above and beyond to care for my Mum. Overall Experience

We have used Home Instead from early on in 2024 until just recently when my father had to move to a residential home. The standard of care that was provided for my father was exceptional - they totally understood his needs and were able to accommodate his existing rigid routine in order to minimise

the distress of his changing circumstances. The care and compassion shown by all the carers was excellent and the office staff were always so helpful when things needed to change. The kindness and patience shown to our family by all of the team while we navigated our way through the process was second to none. I would highly recommend them.
