We have used Home Instead now for 9 years, first with my Father in law and now with my Mother in law. As a care provider we acknoweledge they are not the cheapest but we also feel quality is value for money, not just for us but the local authority/health funders. In that time I think we have had 2 hospital admissions. We like the fact that staff are well trained and well supported and communication processes between us as a family, HI and all the other professionals involved in Mums care is excellent. We feel HI staff care and are compassionate and its not "just a job". Yes turnover of staff can be high in this sector however we feel HI probably have one of the lowest turnovers and when new staff are required they are introduced first and supported effectively before delivering care. Effective home care is about collaboration between all parties and HI are an important partner in maintaining our Mums quality of life,

Receive good quality and respected care from all my care professionals. All of my care professionals understand my needs, and I have a good chat with all of them. Sometimes, when I'm not feeling 100% myself, I might get professionals know how to cheer me up. I feel safe and secure with all my care professionals at all times, especially when they're looking after my personal care needs.Even though they are charging a lot of money, I still get the highest level of care that I receive. I really do enjoy when the management coming to my house and have a chat to see how everything is going.

At 95/96 my Mum was in need of help - mainly help with the shopping and getting out and about. I contacted Home Instead and they came out to meet Mum and discuss her needs. We settled on 2 hours twice a week.

What I liked most about Home Instead was that for the majority of the time, it would be the same person calling which meant bonds and trust could be formed.

The carers became more than carers, they became good friends to my Mum and from my point of view knowing my Mum was being taken care of was a real help and relief.

Special call out to Jem and Carry-Ann who currently call on Mum as she really looks forward to their visits, but from the people in the office to the carers themselves, they are all brilliant.

Looking back over the years, Home Instead have been a constant in my Mums life at a time when she needed stability and help. If anyone is thinking of engaging with Home Instead, do it, you will not be disappointed.

The Caregivers we've had have been extremely well matched to my Aunt 99% of the time. The office staff, some of whom we've been working with for over a decade, have been a great support.

Home Instead (Rotherham) provided really good companionship to my father Bill who had Alzheimer's and thus they also gave support to my mum, Bill's wife and primary career. In addition to being friendly, Home Instead's companions showed a genuine interest in my dad, talking to him about his earlier life and interests. Everyone at Home Instead (Rotherham) were very kind and helpful: not only the companions but also office staff and management. The companions were reliable and always on time which was important to my mum as it meant that she was able to get the scheduled bus for shopping and other appointments. Sadly, my dad's condition deteriorated and he went into a nursing home, then hospital before passing away in another nursing home last week but we all appreciate the companionship and care provided by Home Instead (Rotherham) over Oct and Nov 2025. Thank you.

I couldn't recommend Home Instead more highly, they have been looking after Dad for nearly two years since his Dementia diagnosis. We live 5 hours away so without their support we would be unable to ensure that he is kept safe and has a good quality of life.

Dad has a small team of Healthcare Professionals who visit him daily, they provide a structure for his life including taking him shopping, trips out for coffee and cake, friendship lunches etc, or just being there for coffee and a chat if that's all he wants.

For us as a family we have been supported by the Operations Manager every step of the way. Personally, I cannot express my gratitude for her continued support in what have been challenging times. Her expertise and knowledge are second to none.

Finally, it would be remise of me not to mention the team as a whole who are professional, supportive, kind and caring whenever I call.

Home Instead provides an excellent service. We have a consistent carer who is always punctual and never lets us down. Home Instead answered that our requirements were all met and a lovely carer was carefully interacted to our dad. We have now used the service for two years and cannot recommend Home Instead enough.

I am thoroughly satisfied with all the help I am having from Home Instead. I like to go for a drink in a pub also I like to go shopping. I have been to several other things.
