My mother has been receiving support from Kenny @ HI for several months now and is enjoying the care, support and company he provides on a weekly basis. It is reassuring that mum has this regular support as she does not have family close by to check in on her regularly. However Home Instead are quick to contact my sister & me whenever the need arises and we are grateful to be kept in the loop. We are also happy that mum clearly enjoys Kenny's weekly visits, and that he can take her on excursions that she would be unable to do by herself. Thank you Kenny!

Homecare staff have been visiting my father in his home for about 5 months now and they have been brilliant! My father really looks forward to his twice weekly visits and the conversations and laughs he has with the lady who visits him. I have been delighted with the service provided by Home Instead for my brother.

He is in his late seventies, has suffered cognitive decline & lost his much loved wife & carer last year. Our goal was to allow him to stay in his home and have freedom to do what he wants, when he wants.

HI spent much time at our initial meeting gathering information, his physical & mental challenges, his preferences & dislikes and then risk assessed the flat. A potential carer match was found quickly and trialled. This went very well. She attends for just 1 hour per day at teatime to tidy & provide him with a meal, a batch of which that we order weekly.

From our family perspective, we are comforted in the knowledge that he is a) Ok and b) eating well. The daily online reports that Deborah provides are very useful.

Karolina has done really well to facilitate this as my mother can find it difficult to engage with outside help at times and can find it difficult to express clearly what she needs. We are delighted that the service is flexible and that we can increase input flexibly as needed.

The support provided by mum's companion was exceptional. She personalised the care, was creative and made their time together fun. The app was extremely helpful and insightful. We would have liked more transparency around the setup fee at the beginning.

We have been pleased with the care mum has been given. the care professionals have been patient and kind, and the Home Instead team have been brilliant at making sure there is always someone in place if the regular carer can't be here. I like the regular reviews and the daily online updates. All round, very pleased.

The level of care that Mum is receiving is excellent. All of the Home Instead carers take time to talk, empathise and maintain a kind and caring relationship. This goes above simply providing a level of 'domestic' cover but reaches out on a personal level.
