Overall Experience

Home Instead looked after my father at home as his health started to deteriorate. I cannot thank them enough, they enabled my father to stay independent at home for longer than we thought possible. They were caring, professional, observant and excellent communicators. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Overall Experience

Having been a client for nearly 16 years, the quality of carers has been excellent. Communication and frequency of service reviews have varied. Given your positioning at the top end of the market, I expect excellent communication of all changes to my routine!

Overall Experience

Mum has received excellent care over the last three years. Recently she is finding some aspects of her life more difficult. But mum's carers are very understanding and we work together to deal with the new situation. They are extremely professional and respect my mum's dignity. This is very much appreciated.

I work full time and they help me with tasks I am unable to do. This is a huge support.
Thank you so much. It's a huge stress which has been lifted.

Overall Experience

We are very happy with the Carer/ Companion who comes in for a few hours each week. It helps me to have some respite when they come round. The carer has good communication with the client and they have a laugh together.

Our experience with Home Instead has been one of excellence. We were at a very difficult point in my mums care and the befriending service has been very , very welcomed. Professional, kind, knowledge and full of care. My mum spent two hours each week with Annie.My mum has gained back so much confidence

and enjoyed the regular visits. It has been a relief to be in the hands of such a professional team. Always ready to help and answer questions.100 % recommended and always reliable. Courteous, understanding and incredibly friendly. Cannot thank you all enough!

The Care Home instead provided was very good quality.
The carers varied in age, and my mother, at 92 naturally warmed to the older carers, who she could identify with. The office was not always available, but they did come back to you within a few days. I would recommend Home Instead, southport

Overall Experience

We have been a client of home instead for approx 18 months, as they support my 92 year old father twice a week with personal care .
After a fall which caused my mum to break a shoulder on one arm and a wrist on the other I contact home instead to ask about temporary support for her too. I was immediately

reassured that they could offer what I required and within an hour a supervisor visited my parents home to discuss our requirements . They where able to schedule care from the next morning and more importantly where able to send to us carers who support my dad and who where familiar with my parents home and my mum. The carers are consistently a pleasure to have in the home and home instead has enabled my mum and dad to stay in there home in there 90s even during critical times such as this recent fall .

Overall Experience

Service has been very good. Staff have all lovely and have got to know my husband well, and his routine is maintained. Andrew and Ian are especially good; they engage with my husband well and have a great interaction with my husband. Kirsty, Andrea and the office team are great help. I am now able to

get out to my art class each Friday, and knowing Rod is well looked after gives me peace of mind and I am able to relax. From beginning to care, starting everything has been explained and any changes accommodated swiftly.

My Mum was being cared for by our family, we found this too much and her not getting the right help so we approached Home instead who were very helpful I. Selecting the correct care for her, as her need increased so did the help from the office, each time we contacted the office with a question or concern

we were always helped in a professional, caring manor.

Yet again Home Instead have
Come to my rescue at short notice after I had a fall and needed help.( They have been coming for at least 7 years to help with my husband ). Without fail they are helpful willing and professional and with a sense of humour. Their custom of coming on person to introduce

a new carer is thoughtful. They are without question superb.

Overall Experience

We chose Home Instead to make a daily AM call from 2021-2025 for my mum, who was struggling to live at home alone. She had excellent carers throughout, and we enjoyed clear and timely communications of any issues or changes. This was particularly important as we live a distance away and mum suffered

from dementia and poor mobility, but stayed in her own home until 93 years old. She is now happily living in a care home. We would recommend HI very highly.

Home Instead have been helping Mum for 6 years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have been invaluable and took such a weight off our shoulders. Home Instead has provided my mum with excellent, consistent care, and I couldn't be more grateful for their support. Initially, Mum had them coming in a couple of times a week, which was already a great help. However, after a recent hospital stay when my mum became quite unwell, it became clear that

her care package needed to be increased.
Home Instead were incredible throughout this process. They supported me every step of the way, working closely with me to put a new care plan in place that has made a significant difference in my mum's recovery since returning home. Their team is highly professional, compassionate, and genuinely listens to the needs and preferences of their clients. They regularly review care plans to ensure they're still meeting those needs.
Most importantly, they've given me peace of mind and provided my mum with consistent, high-quality care that has helped her regain strength and confidence. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Mum has had care for three years before recently having to move into residential care. During those three years, the care provided has enabled her to remain independent in her own home. She started with one care giver at lunchtime to prepare meals and carry out general household duties, later employing

a second carer to assist her in the mornings to get out of bed, dressed and washed, making breakfast, and in the recent months, a third carer to assist her in the evenings with supper and preparing for bed. Throughout this time the carers have always shown respect and empathy, together with friendship and companionship.

My brother has carers twice on one day a week. It is working well, personal care, meals, companionship & giving medication are all completed as agreed. My brother enjoys the visits & is well cared for. The office team are always friendly, helpful & quick to respond to changes in current arrangements.

Overall Experience

All ok. The staff member was a a calm and friendly character who was happy to sit quietly with my husband as he worked on his computer. He served drinks and meals at appropriate times. He did have a number of interests that connected with my husbands, but my husband found in exhausting to hold conversations

so he preferred to be quiet and the staff member respected that.
