We have had a great experience with the care service for over 10 years, and throughout that time they have provided us as a family with a real sense of reassurance and peace of mind. Knowing that our loved one is being cared for by people who are experienced, familiar and genuinely committed to providing good care has made a huge difference to us.

One of the biggest positives has been the established team of caregivers. Having a consistent group of people involved in the care means that they know our family, understand individual needs and are familiar with the routines and preferences that are important to us. This continuity has helped to build trust and confidence over the years.

Communication has also been very good. We have generally found the team approachable, responsive and willing to keep us informed. Any questions or concerns we have raised have been dealt with professionally, and there have been very few problems during our time with the service.

I cannot rate Home Instead South Liverpool highly enough. I had been anxious about bringing in carers for my husband who has Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's. I felt reassured on meeting managers who immediately impressed me with their compassionate person-centred approach. The carers have been wonderful. I quickly felt completely confident about the quality of care given and the understanding shown, especially the responsiveness to my husband's character and grasp of his needs. Having consistent carers who showed a respect for my husband as an individual provided great support and comfort to me. Thank you.

My husband and I are very impressed with the service we receive. The staff are professional and courteous. My husband's carer is more like a friend to him and he enjoys the time he spends with him. I have nothing but praise for the company.

Toni takes me shopping each week and she looks after me. Ellie calls every 3 months and we have an enjoyable time.

I have been recently pleased with the care and support my mother receives. The carers are consistently professional, kind and compassionate. Their helpers have made a real difference to her daily life. It is a great help to me knowing she is in capable and caring hands, which gives peace of mind. My brother has carers twice on one day a week. It is working well, personal care, meals, companionship & giving medication are all completed as agreed. My brother enjoys the visits & is well cared for. The office team are always friendly, helpful & quick to respond to changes in current arrangements.

The care is excellent, and the carers are very patient with Dad. They arrive on time and are reliable. Overall, great service and would recommend Home Instead.

Mum and Dad have had support now for the last 8 years. It is lovely to get to know your 'team' and not have different people all the time. The carers have been lovely, so kind, caring and accommodating for each day's issues that greet them. Have been able to completely trust them and have never had any problems. It's reassuring to know they care.

It has given me peace of mind and enabled my parents to remain as independent as possible because they have a reliable compassionate safety net.

Although Home Instead address all the needs in their scope, this is reflected in the cost. It just depends on whether you feel your needs are worth the cost.

I find that all the girls are kind and pleasant, clean and well turned out and do what they can to help me get ready for my day. I have usually had my breakfast and am ready for a shower which they help me with, dressing and feet attended to. They will prepare lunch if needed and go shopping and are willing to do anything I need without making me feel rushed. Sometimes they are the only person I will speak to until the evening. They will ring the doctor if needed.

I have been having help for over a month now and I find it so helpful, I have come to really feel very cared for and find everything that is done for me is so good. I do feel so much better than I used to. The ladies are so caring and thoughtful, I can get some stuff done which I can no longer do.

My dad has a wide range of needs and nothing has been too much trouble.

I have also found the communication always very good between Home Instead and myself with a view to organising and managing my mum's care.
