Exceptional! Outstanding! First class! Just some of the superlatives to describe Home Instead's service & support, and in particular the Head of Live In Care. I couldn't have wished for anything more at what was a very difficult time for me. Nothing was too much trouble for her and there were plenty
of tricky situations to have to contend with.


From the moment I made the call to engage them, a huge weight of responsibility lifted from my shoulders trying to manage the situation with a friend hospitalised following a fall and needing appropriate care put in place very quickly to allow him to return home.


The Head took over that responsibility so efficiently & effectively, going above and beyond her call of duty, liaising with the hospital staff, staying late to prepare my friend's home, supporting the live-in carer, and communicating clearly & precisely with me at all stages. I lost count of the number of times thanking her!


I can't speak highly enough!

The care is simply outstandingly good. Wioletta all day care person was bright, understandiing, extremely responsive. She is sympathetic and clearly is a professional at what she does. I cannnot imagine anybody any better. I normally don't write such effusive evaluations but I feel i must so here.


Also,

Clare in the office was outstanding too. She went over and beyond in what she was required to do. An absolutely outstanding person for the role she is in.


I could not be happier with Home Instead - worth every penny!

My nan was very well taken care of at Hone instead Enfield. They put her needs first with comforting her, doing her nails, brushing her hair, sitting, feeding, cleaning and waiting for her to fall asleep. I would recommend them to anybody and use them again if I need to. Thank you so much.

They have been enormously helpful and accommodated every single problem/issue that has arisen. They clearly care a great deal about those they are helping, and i could not recommend

Navigating senior

are can be challenging and your team made the experience far more reassuring. Knowing that my father was treated with dignity, patience, and kindness gave our family great peace of mind.

Home Instead have been looking after my mother for 11 months and I can honestly say that the level and standards of care far outweigh any other provider we have used before. Previously, my mother had been hospitalised numerous times over the years, but since engaging Home Instead - not once! This
has been a massive weight off my shoulders and relief to know that my mother is in good hands with extremely caring, friendly and attentive care professionals who use their initiative and are very pro-active. My mother looks better, feels better and her home is much tidier and cleaner. The whole system is running so well and I would highly recommend to everyone who needs home care. They also use a great online system which gives the family access to see what notes carers have added following each visit, giving us constant reassurance that mother is getting the best care and this system details all meds and foods etc. The office staff are also very receptive, helpful and supportive.

As a family we cared for our mum for 4 years following her dementia diagnosis and were really fearful of introducing carers. We feel so lucky to have been recommended homeinstead. From the our first meeting with one of the care managers we felt supported and listened to. They matched the carers to what
our mum said she would like and worked with us to ensure a care plan for each visit was agreed. We had an app that monitored when the carers arrived and left, and allowed them to provide a daily blog on how things went.
Mum had a small team of carers helping her and each member of that team was introduced to her and shown the set up so they knew how best to provide support. Homeinstead provided weekly care plans so we knew who to expect and always communicated if there were any changes to the plan. The carers were lovely and showed kindness and empathy, they gave mum time and helped to keep her as independent as possible.
Our care experience was incredibly positive.

We arranged 24 care for my mum following a fall, at very fast notice - the staff were very informative, and kind, and arranged for us to meet a carer who was perfect for my mum. They treated her with respect, and listened to what she was looking for. She has always been very negative about having a
carer, but this experience was very positive, and helped her get well enough to be able to look after herself again.

We have had experience of care providers before we started using Home Instead. We have found that Home Instead are far more efficient and having a contact person is really helpful when my mother's care needs to be adjusted in any way. The care professionals that visit mum are kind and understanding
of her needs.

My dear wife had been suffering from termial cancer for many years, but only in the last 48 hours did she need specialist care. I called Home Instead asking for an urgent assessment. Amazingly, one of their managers, Eleanor, arrived within hours and immediately set up full car arrangements. She
and her colleague worked tirelessly and sensitively in our house for the next 48 hours, continuously liaising with health care professionals and arranging for the delivery of a hospital bed. Clare died peacefully at home with our four children and myself with her. This could only have happened in the way it did because of the absolutely amazing work done by Eleanor and Home Instead staff. All our family will always be so grateful to them.

I picked up a copy of " The Caring Companion" at the Singing group last Friday. I found it a useful read and will definitely pass my copy on when talking about Home Instead with friends.


I already have help around the house and with my feet, and have just started using the Handyman service for

those jobs which have needed doing for ages and I haven't known who to ask.


Every one from Home Instead who comes into my home is courteous, genuinely friendly and take pride in what they are doing.

I am so pleased with the service my sister has received from Home Instead. From the first visit with the care manager to discuss the service and look at her specific care needs to the careful introduction to the 'matched' carers, all has gone smoothly. These Care Pros are exceptional. They are kind,
efficient and intuitive to her needs, whilst respecting her dignity and her own choices. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will go out of their way to make life easier for her. They have been quick to develop a happy relationship with her too.and have also been helpful to me when visiting..
I would certainly recommend this service to anyone in similar circumstances. My sister is happier now with the daily contact and I, not living nearby, am happy knowing that she is in safe, capable hands.

This carer has been with Mum since February. It took a few months for Mum to find someone to share her home with. We have chosen to do some care ourselves as cover staff did not seem suitable. We are all very happy with this carer. She is willing to learn and adapt to Mum's way of living. We, in turn,
feel we have made her welcome and part of the family.

Home Instead looked after our mother for almost 5 years, after she was widowed aged 93. Though she did not need much medical - or at first personal - care, she did struggle with memory and confusion. Their help enabled her to stay living in her own home almost until the end. They were flexible, professional,
and caring, and understood our mother's need to feel independent and mistress of her own house. They never forced the relationship, and she came to look forward to the visits of the carers she got to know. Communication with the office was always good; when we did need to step up the care to daily visits they were able to put that in place quickly with her main carer. It was also reassuring to be able to check the Portal, for feedback. When she had an unlucky fall one morning it was the carer who found her, knew what to do, called the office to let us know, went with her in the ambulance and stayed with her at the hospital until one of us could get there. Thank you Home Instead.
