I especially would like to thank Zoe and Nicola for their kindness and loving care that they gave Mum throughout these past few years. Nicola and Zoe were more than carers for Mum and throughout those years a tight bond of friendship grew bigger and bigger. A few days after my Mum passing away Zoe said to me that she was happy and honored to look after my Mother. I must say that it was an honor for me that Zoe looked after my mother so well as for Nicola.

I booked last minute home care for my parents while I was away, and the carer who supported them was excellent. She helped with daily household tasks, prepared meals, washed clothes, and kept the house clean and comfortable. She also assisted with emails and appointments, which made things much easier for them. My mum especially appreciated her company, describing her as kind, patient, and reassuring. I received regular updates throughout my holiday, which gave me real peace of mind knowing they were being well looked after. Considering this was arranged at short notice, I was very impressed with how smoothly everything was organised and how flexible the carer was in meeting their needs. Overall, the care provided was reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive, and I'm very grateful for everything she did.

My relationship with Home Instead Bromley goes back several years, but I write about this last year, which has been an 'annus horribilis'. My two main carers looked after my husband, who lived with Parkinson's for 10years. When I could no longer cope with him at home, and I had to place him in a care home, they continued to visit him, which was a source of great joy/pleasure as it buoyed him up and gave me a break. They saw him through to the end and were present at his funeral. Such dedication is beyond measure and even words on a review form. It is priceless. Since my husband's death, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and they have stepped up again by visiting me each morning to ensure I am managing.

I felt I must write to thank all of you at Home Instead for the exemplary way in which you have cared for my husband until his death. From the very start we were treated with consummate professionalism, courtesy and empathy. It is a difficult stage to reach with a loved one when you realise you need help and it can feel somewhat invasive having people in and out of your home. As you know, as a retired priest I am more often in your position than on the receiving end. That in itself I find very difficult. It is humbling. I found it challenging that different people would be in and out of our home but, having introduced us to several lovely carers, you were thoughtful enough to ensure that, on the whole, we had the same people regularly.
I have no idea how you maintain such high standards. People can be very difficult - particularly towards the end of life with frustrations, pain and fear. The girls were so reassuring.

I am extremely happy with the care my mother is receiving from the Home Instead. They were very flexible accommodating my schedule and quick to set up a care plan when my father returned from hospital, unable to care for mother as he had previously.
As I live far away from my parents (both in their late 80s) I was concerned about selecting a carer I could trust in their home with them. My mother has dementia and Alzheimers and Annabel is patient, kind and firm when necessary. My parents both enjoy her company. I also find the unique app very reassuring and useful. Home Instead also ensure my mother has consistency of care with only people she has met before visiting her. I am happy to recommend them and pay more for quality care and the reassurance that brings.
