I couldn't be happier with the excellent service I have had from the manager from the first meeting, so kind and understanding of my situation in my home. I felt so relieved with her first visit and subsequent visits. My carer, I couldn't wish for a better person, very caring, happy and we work so well together, I look forward to my Friday afternoons, she's my ray of sunshine.

Home Instead have been exceptional since the initial meeting. Listening to our requests and my mother-in-law's needs and then putting in place a team of carers. Having the same carers each week has been so important. All wonderful carers and all different personalities, which brighten up the day and give my mother-in-law something to look forward to. We had tried other companies and Home Instead continues to be the best.

We engaged with Home Instead after the pandemic, when I'd been caring for my dad myself for a long time, so it was hard to start sharing responsibility. The team made it a lot easier by showing genuine concern and affection for my dad, and were able to offer their expertise and guidance for the days I continued to care for him. They would alert me if they had concerns about him or raise with the district nurses. They made him laugh and treated him with kindness.

The staff go above and beyond in the care they provid, including calling an ambulance when my father had a medical emergency and staying with him for reassurance until the crew were ready to take him to hospital. The support they give me when he has bouts of illness is invaluable. I live several hours travel away, so knowing he is so well looked after is really important.

Home Instead have provided excellent care for my 94-year-old dad who has Dementia since February. With their support and care, we can work together to keep Dad in his flat with some independence. The carers are very experienced and flexible when extra help is needed. Any concerns they have are communicated quickly and clearly. One carer makes Dad fresh fruit salad each time she visits, which he really likes.
