Home Instead Beckenham has been looking after my mum for the last 3 and a half years. She has Alzheimer's and doesn't like to be by herself. She has carers several days a week for companionship. The caregivers are nice, helpful, professional and very sympathetic to my mum, who always looks forward to her carers coming. Since Covid, the Home Instead carers have been an absolute godsend, as without them, my mum would have been all alone, which would have been devastating and detrimental for her as she needs the stimulation of seeing people. On the few occasions when my mum has needed extra support, Home Instead has been very helpful and has acted quickly. It is very easy to get in touch with the Home Instead office, and they are all so helpful. I would definitely recommend Home Instead.

The carers are so friendly, caring and helpful and have enabled us to deal with a difficult situation in a way that we are all extremely happy with. We highly recommend them!

Can’t recommend them highly enough, only wish we could have used their help for a longer period, as it is so much more friendly and tailored to the client's needs than even the best care home. They took such care in talking to our cousin and finding out what she wanted. Although initially very resistant, our cousin was very soon really looking forward to her carer's visits.

After a few days of social services carers in December, my mother wasn't happy about having carers but seems to have enjoyed the support from the 2 Home Instead carers. They are flexible, pleasant and helpful.

Home Instead have provided us with excellent support over the last four and a half years. As my wife’s health deteriorated, the support has grown and most recently was at the level of 9.30am to 9.30pm, 7 days a week. Throughout the four and a half years, all carers have been professional, warm and friendly and willing to try whatever my wife (with Parkinson’s – physical and dementia deterioration) would like to do. Until her health sharply deteriorated recently, they have taken my wife out for trips to the shops and local gardening centres, taken her to a Tai Chi class once a week, done gardening with her, puzzles etc. They thus provided her with the social interaction and physical exercise recommended by the NHS. They have also taken care of her medication and personal care needs. These care levels were maintained through two years of Covid restrictions. We have felt that we could relax and trust our carers completely and we thank Home Instead for choosing such able carers tailored to our particular needs.

My mum has been with Home Instead for nearly a year, and Home Instead took great care in placing the right carer with my mum. As a family, we really appreciate the excellent support they provide for my mum. We originally put in the care as companionship and basic help for my mum on the days when I am not able to visit. She really looks forward to their visits, as her carers are so friendly, cheerful and efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. We have also used their services when we have gone on holiday to ensure my mum has a carer every day, and it gives me such peace of mind to go away knowing that she has a friendly face visiting each day. The office staff are always so helpful too I cannot praise highly enough the service that we have received. Thank you Home Instead.

From the moment Home Instead took on the care of my mum I could see she was in good hands. The caregivers were always kind, considerate and respectful. They made a real effort to get to know Mum know her likes and dislikes and really bonded with her. Home Instead staff were always punctual for visits and well organised. The office staff were always helpful and supportive. I was very happy that Home Instead cared for my mum and would definitely recommend them.

Home Instead have been excellent at providing me with outstanding care. The Caregivers are really good and there isn't anything that they won't do for me. They are just brilliant.

My father was given excellent care from Home Instead, enabling him to remain living at home safely for as long as possible before moving away from his home town to a care home near family. We, his family, are extremely grateful that his time in the company and care of his beloved wife was extended. The Home Instead team took time to get to know Dad - and Mum - to ensure his carers were a good fit and I commend the company and the carers for their attention to detail, responsiveness and compassion.

I have had over one full year of being supported at home by Home Instead. My medical condition has varied at times so I have had 3 visits a day at times (most of the time) with an overnight carer when needed. Every carer who has come to me has been kind, considerate, thoughtful and willing to do a very wide variety of tasks around the home and garden. They have made it possible for me to reorganise my house effectively and it is cleaner then it has ever been. Wonderful caring people.

I do not know how we would have managed without The Home Instead team. My brother and I live overseas, coupled with the pandemic travel restrictions, which has meant finding reliable, quality care was even more essential for our parents as they wished to continue to live independently whilst developing some support needs. The first call I made to the team was friendly, helpful and reassuring that Home Instead could meet our specific asks. From then on, Mum and Dad’s assigned carer was consistently reliable, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, patient and caring. Mum and Dad have been known to be a tough crowd with unfamiliar people, however, their carer rapidly built their trust and friendship and they looked forward to her visits. Sadly, our father passed away recently - the support that Mum's carer has provided to Mum during this time has been incredible, absolutely above and beyond expectations, including brilliant communication with us. Thank you for all you do, you are magic!

We approached Home Instead for support with my mother's basic care needs. However, we saw incredible improvements in her health and general wellbeing immediately. The team of carers were professional but went above and beyond bringing a lot of fun and joy into my mother's life at a time when isolation has such a negative impact. Mum looks forward to each session. We are delighted with her progress.

Home Instead have been providing caregivers for my mum since the summer. Since first speaking to the director of the company when I made my initial enquiry, to the support provided by the administrative team and most importantly our experience of the caregivers themselves, we have only positive things to say. All that she promised has been delivered; the caregivers' timekeeping is faultless and never once has a visit been rushed, quite the opposite on more than one occasion. There has been consistency with who has been nominated to provide care to Mum and on the odd occasion, where due to unplanned for circumstances, a change has been necessary which has been effectively handled. All the caregivers we have encountered have been incredibly kind, helpful, respectful and thoughtful towards Mum, sometimes taking her out for appointments or just to the cafe for lunch. I wouldn't' hesitate to recommend Home Instead and Mum has been very happy with her 'ladies' and looks forward to their visits.

We have not been with Home Instead for very long, but are already really impressed with the level of care and commitment to ensuring our mother is well looked after. This was clearly demonstrated when she became ill recently. Home Instead were fantastic, they dealt with the situation perfectly in a no-fuss manner, and kept us fully informed the whole time. This was a great relief for us as both my sister and I live abroad and cannot get home right now due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Knowing that Mum is in such good hands is a real comfort for us. The Home Instead Bromley team care for my 85-year-old father. The service is thoughtful, caring, and tailored to his individual needs. They are all kind, reliable, punctual, and professional. My Dad really enjoys his showers and chats. It gives him a boost and stimulates his mind. I recommend Home Instead Bromley without hesitation.
