My father was given excellent care from Home Instead, enabling him to remain living at home safely for as long as possible before moving away from his home town to a care home near family. We, his family, are extremely grateful that his time in the company and care of his beloved wife was extended.
The Home Instead team took time to get to know Dad - and Mum - to ensure his carers were a good fit and I commend the company and the carers for their attention to detail, responsiveness and compassion.

I have had over one full year of being supported at home by Home Instead. My medical condition has varied at times so I have had 3 visits a day at times (most of the time) with an overnight carer when needed. Every carer who has come to me has been kind, considerate, thoughtful and willing to do a very
wide variety of tasks around the home and garden. They have made it possible for me to reorganise my house effectively and it is cleaner then it has ever been. Wonderful caring people.

I do not know how we would have managed without The Home Instead team. My brother and I live overseas, coupled with the pandemic travel restrictions, which has meant finding reliable, quality care was even more essential for our parents as they wished to continue to live independently whilst developing
some support needs. The first call I made to the team was friendly, helpful and reassuring that Home Instead could meet our specific asks. From then on, Mum and Dad’s assigned carer was consistently reliable, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, patient and caring. Mum and Dad have been known to be a tough crowd with unfamiliar people, however, their carer rapidly built their trust and friendship and they looked forward to her visits. Sadly, our father passed away recently - the support that Mum's carer has provided to Mum during this time has been incredible, absolutely above and beyond expectations, including brilliant communication with us. Thank you for all you do, you are magic!

We approached Home Instead for support with my mother's basic care needs. However, we saw incredible improvements in her health and general wellbeing immediately. The team of carers were professional but went above and beyond bringing a lot of fun and joy into my mother's life at a time when isolation

Home Instead have been providing caregivers for my mum since the summer. Since first speaking to the director of the company when I made my initial enquiry, to the support provided by the administrative team and most importantly our experience of the caregivers themselves, we have only positive things
to say. All that she promised has been delivered; the caregivers' timekeeping is faultless and never once has a visit been rushed, quite the opposite on more than one occasion. There has been consistency with who has been nominated to provide care to Mum and on the odd occasion, where due to unplanned for circumstances, a change has been necessary which has been effectively handled. All the caregivers we have encountered have been incredibly kind, helpful, respectful and thoughtful towards Mum, sometimes taking her out for appointments or just to the cafe for lunch. I wouldn't' hesitate to recommend Home Instead and Mum has been very happy with her 'ladies' and looks forward to their visits.

We have not been with Home Instead for very long, but are already really impressed with the level of care and commitment to ensuring our mother is well looked after. This was clearly demonstrated when she became ill recently. Home Instead were fantastic, they dealt with the situation perfectly in a
no-fuss manner, and kept us fully informed the whole time. This was a great relief for us as both my sister and I live abroad and cannot get home right now due to the COVID-19 restrictions. We can’t praise Home Instead highly enough. The care they provide is kind, sensitive and reliable, and all members of staff, the carers and the administrators are thoughtful and utterly professional. My mother is very happy with the service they provide her. During this time of lockdown, the office

I'm writing this review in the midst of the coronavirus lockdown and unfortunately, I'm locked down in a different country from my 99-yr-old mother. So it is a huge comfort and relief to know that, despite all the problems that the virus has thrown up, mum's wonderful carers and the amazing organisation
in the office have come up trumps and mum's care is continuing to be first class. Understandably, mum has a slightly greater variety of caregivers than normal because of self-isolation rules but somehow the carers remain punctual and as hard-working and kind as ever. Despite their own nervousness about the virus they still manage to alleviate mum's anxieties and leave her in a more positive frame of mind - a tricky thing to achieve in the early days of the virus. So, it seems that no matter what life throws at these great caregivers and their office helpers, they all adapt and cope wonderfully well which goes to provide this excellent service. Thank you all.

I write on behalf of my mother who has enjoyed the support of the Home Instead team for several years. During that time we have seen her become more frail as she approaches her 100th birthday. I choose to use March as my reference date because it includes the Coronavirus outbreak. Her care has not lessened
and whilst she was fearful that it would, the carers have stepped up to offer bespoke support that was built around her wishes and their observed needs. We are extremely fortunate to be able to rely on this service since I live in USA and my brother in Venice Italy. We are always advised by email of mandated changes to regimens and by telephone if concerns are raised by individual carers. The management team are professional and effective.
I have been a registered manager for CQC of three dental practices and fully appreciate every aspect of the care plan that is devised, implemented and monitored with my mother and ourselves. I recommend this organisation without reservation.

Having had a fall and an illness which lead to a stay in hospital, my Mum needed help when she returned home. A friend recommended Home Instead. After an initial phone call, the Director met me at Mum’s house to carry out a full assessment of her needs. She was both professional, caring and receptive
to our requirements. Care started within a few days. The carers are excellent. Mum loves them. Not only do they care for her but have become great companions. Their care has helped my Mum both physically and mentally. I would highly recommend this company.

Home Instead have transformed my mother in law’s life and made it possible for her to stay at home. Being able to have care for an hour at a time and regular ladies has been so much better than many different people running in and out for a few minutes at a time. Nothing is too much trouble for her
carers and she feels safe and happy with them. They are very friendly to all of the family if we pop in while they are there and have become part of the family. My mother in law had several falls recently and they have been so good staying until they are sure she is safe and well. They make sure she has eaten and leave her drinks to make sure she is not dehydrated. She is also pleased to have a daily shower and her hair put in rollers. I must also mention the team in the office. They are so friendly and efficient and no query is too much for them. My mother in law also attends weekly exercise classes run by Home Instead which she finds help her mobility and are great fun.

Home Instead started providing home care for my elderly father with dementia since December, and we have been delighted by the quality of the care he has received. One thing that stood out from the outset was that Home Instead were able to fulfil the care with a small number of carers, which was a really
key factor for us - other providers we talked to were unable to commit to a pool size less than twenty. My father has built a rapport with all the carers and genuinely looks forward to them coming - fantastic considering he was so resistant to the idea of home care initially. I've also been really impressed with the flexibility Home Instead have shown - in particular plugging a shopping gap recently when my father's usual shopping delivery service cancelled regular orders and also working collaboratively with us to find a solution to sharing care journal entries remotely.

There was quite a bit to do with him when we started to support him and, together with you, we have made strides forward in improving his health and wellbeing. When we began supporting him, you set us a 'stretch target' to persuade your father to go out of the house and, on one occasion, before lockdown, a CAREGiver was able to persuade him to go out to the barber. Once the restrictions are lifted, we will try to further build on this if this is appropriate at that time. We've also been pleased to help you connect with him recently over a video call which I gather has been a successful addition to some support visits.

My mother has been extremely happy with here carers. They carry out everything they do to a high standard and provide companionship at the same time. They turn up punctually when expected and she has never been let her down. There has been some turnover of staff, but whenever her carers have changed,
she has been introduced to the new carers by somebody from the team that she knows. It was difficult persuading my mother that it would be a good idea to have help, but it has been a very positive experience for her, and she now looks forward to their visits.
