My mother is very happy with the service, enjoys talking to them, pleased to go for a walk with their help.

I am very pleased with our experience so far with the service given and with the quality of all the staff/ management involved. In particular, the friendly and jovial relationship they have developed with my wife is very pleasing to see. She in fact actually looks forward to the visits and regularly tells me how nice all the carers are which given her strongly independent character is not necessarily what I expected before we started with the service. Above all, I have formed the impression that the staff/management genuinely like my wife and care about her plight which gives me a great deal of comfort.

Home Instead has provided support for my late parents from 2018, when they helped with preparing and clearing up at lunchtime. As my parents’ health declined, we asked Home Instead for more and more support until, in Autumn 2022, we realised that a live-in carer was needed. From the beginning, we appreciated how much Home Instead tried to match carers with clients: my mother, in particular, found their kindness and conversation a real boost to her quality of life. That was even more crucial when it came to live-in caregivers. My mother died in August 2023, my father died in January 2024. In both cases, the live-in caregivers were a familiar and comforting presence for both my parents, me and my siblings. We felt as a family that we could not have provided a better care solution for my parents in the last years of their lives. They were both 94 and they both died at home, as they had wished.

Very quick response. Very professional and always introduced new carers. Always prompt. Delivered personal care in the initial phase with tact. Anticipated needs and offered to help rather than dictate it. We had a very quick response when we needed help. We liked all the staff and can't think of anything critical to say. Well done.

Home instead was absolutely wonderful to my dad until he passed away. If I were to recommend a care agency to anyone in the area, it would be them. They were always so caring, kind and gave my dad dignity and respect. In lots of ways I miss the team now that we no longer need their services and that tells you how much of a comfort and support they were to my dad and our family. Thank you!

Home Instead have assisted around the house and provided companionship and care which has made my friend feel comfortable and well cared for. They have taken my friend out and about giving her the opportunity to take part in activities that she could not do if it were not for Home Instead's care. Reliable pleasant service. Have helped in all things relating to the welfare of us both. My husband has #neck and concussion and has been very limited in his activities, bed for several weeks. We have consistent staff and new staff are accompanied by the case manager. Communication and domestic ability are great. The staff are cheerful, willing and aware of the big changes we had to take.
