Home Instead Sutton, established in 2009, is the first elderly care company dedicated to serving the older people of the London borough of Sutton, that has been recognised as Outstanding by the CQC (January 2021).

Home Instead Sutton supports older people to live well and safely in their own homes across Cheam, North Cheam, Banstead, Belmont, Sutton, Carshalton, Wallington, Woodmansterne, Hackbridge, Morden and Beddington.

As a family we cared for our mum for 4 years following her dementia diagnosis and were really fearful of introducing carers. We feel so lucky to have been recommended homeinstead. From the our first meeting with one of the care managers we felt supported and listened to. They matched the carers to what
our mum said she would like and worked with us to ensure a care plan for each visit was agreed. We had an app that monitored when the carers arrived and left, and allowed them to provide a daily blog on how things went.
Mum had a small team of carers helping her and each member of that team was introduced to her and shown the set up so they knew how best to provide support. Homeinstead provided weekly care plans so we knew who to expect and always communicated if there were any changes to the plan. The carers were lovely and showed kindness and empathy, they gave mum time and helped to keep her as independent as possible.
Our care experience was incredibly positive.

I am so pleased with the service my sister has received from Home Instead. From the first visit with the care manager to discuss the service and look at her specific care needs to the careful introduction to the 'matched' carers, all has gone smoothly. These Care Pros are exceptional. They are kind,
efficient and intuitive to her needs, whilst respecting her dignity and her own choices. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will go out of their way to make life easier for her. They have been quick to develop a happy relationship with her too.and have also been helpful to me when visiting..
I would certainly recommend this service to anyone in similar circumstances. My sister is happier now with the daily contact and I, not living nearby, am happy knowing that she is in safe, capable hands.

Home Instead have made a real difference to my mum's quality of life in such a short time. They took the time to get to know her before starting and carefully matched care professionals who suit her personality. Despite her initial reservations, Mum now really enjoys their company and although she isn't
able to remember the specifics of the visits, she says how kind and caring the ladies are.
The care pros, and the wider team in the office, have been amazing, helping us better understand the challenges Mum is facing and suggesting small changes that make a big difference. It's a huge relief knowing the team are experienced in supporting people with Alzheimer's and seeing them help Mum maintain her independence at home.
We're grateful for the practical help too, from putting on washes to organising her clothes, nothing is too much trouble. As I don't live nearby, being able to see the visit notes after each call is incredibly reassuring too and helps me stay connected to Mum's care.

The assistant care manager knew my dad's needs right from the start and was very knowledgeable and resourceful.
She matched 2 lovely carers with my dad and although he only had 1 visit because my dad took a turn for the worse and had to go to hospital, I feel I was constantly supported through this
stressful time.
My dad is currently in a care home for respite but if he does go back home I will definitely be in touch with Home Instead to arrange care for my dad.

A family friend recommended Home Instead for my aunt who was left without care suddenly due to her carer becoming ill.
The Assistant Care Manager and the team were able to priorities my aunt and put a care package in place fast and efficiently.
The team are experienced and very helpful when caring
for my aunt. Nothing is too much trouble.
I'm kept up to date on each visit and contacted when they need to check on anything in particular.
I would recommend Hayley and the team and thank them for all that they do.

From my initial meeting with the deputy care manger to discuss Home Instead ( Sutton ) providing a daily carer for me, it was clear that she had an extensive knowledge of the care sector and she went to great lengths to take note of my preferences and requirements with a view to matching the experience
and personality of the carers she would then recommend. Her advice and guidance on this and other care related matters has been invaluable and very much appreciated. I have also been extremely satisfied and happy with the two ladies Home Instead supplied who have been of enormous help and company to me for the past year and perfectly matched to the type of carer I requested. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Home Instead Sutton to anyone looking for assistance of this kind.

I am delighted with the care Home Instead provides for my mum. From initial meetings with the Care Manager to discuss mum's requirements, providing a personal care plan, to the matching and meeting of carer to those requirements and the communication and feedback has been smooth, efficient and friendly.
Mum was very reluctant to the idea of a carer but looks forward to her visits and enjoys the company of the carer who is kind, well-trained and listens to what mum wants. The office staff are very helpful and efficient and will sort out urgent matters immediately. All this gives me peace of mind that mum is being cared for well and her needs are being met.

I have been impressed with the care provided by Home Instead Sutton. My grandmother was initially reluctant to receiving care but now looks forward to the days that her carers visit. They have put the smile back on her face! They are well matched and are responsive to her needs. They have worked
hard to get to know her and although supportive, ensure that she remains as independent as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead.

My husband and I live out of the country for part of the year and Home Instead have been reliable, caring, supportive and have provided great feedback about their visits. Having previously used Home Instead to provide homecare for my Mum several years ago, they came to mind when trying to organise similar care for a reluctant, but very needy, elderly neighbour.
Home Instead were great from first contact with good communication and an interest in understanding the client
and providing what they needed.
The lady in question was German by birth so Home Instead managed to match her with a carer who spoke German - this seemed to help because the lady's clarity of communication was getting poorer as she got older.


Sadly the relationship did not last as long as we hoped, as the neighbour passed away not long into the arrangement. During the short time we were engaged with Home Instead it was a pleasure to work with them and we felt it took a load off of our shoulders and gave comfort to her relatives, who all live in Germany.
We would recommend Home Instead to anyone interested in seeking homecare support for a loved one.

I have been extremely impressed with the care my mum has received from Home Instead. From the very beginning, their communication, feedback, and collaborative approach have stood out. The care team works closely with us to continuously adapt my mum's care package, ensuring that it evolves as her needs
change.
A particularly noteworthy moment was when my mum had a fall and needed to go to the hospital. The team quickly adapted her care package, increasing the support needed to help her recover and return to a more stable and enjoyable quality of life.One member of staff, in particular, has been incredibly understanding, patient, and thorough in her responses. Her attention to detail and commitment to my mum's care have been exemplary.

Home Instead (Sutton) have been providing care at home for my aunt since October 2023. We were particularly impressed with the care and attention of the first visit at home with the manager who listened carefully to her needs which shaped her personal care package. This was followed by personal introductions
to the care professionals who deliver my aunt's care each day. This careful 'matching' has really helped my aunt form very good relationships that have helped her remain at home, feel valued and cared for, while retaining her dignity and individuality. Home Instead have shown excellent administrative practices and frequently check on progress and any queries raised. Apart from providing reliable excellent care professionals, their office based staff work hard in the background, swiftly responding to any urgent matters. As my 99-year-old aunt's next of kin, I have the security and peace of mind that she is safe and happy and have no hesitation in recommending their 5* service.

We previously had experience of Home Instead as a care provider for my husband's father. The branch in another area provided several years of excellent service for him. With this in mind, we had no hesitation in seeking out our local service provider in the area. We were not disappointed. Home Instead
Sutton stepped in to support Mum who was 96 years old at the time, fiercely independent and wanting to stay in her own home. They helped her with getting up and dressed, prepared meals and made sure she took her medication. Over time we upped the visit frequency as mum got used to them and needed additional help. All the care professionals were superb, they were friendly caring and compassionate and Mum quickly formed close bonds with all of them. They attended to Mum's personal care and made sure that her diginity was always paramount. Once Mum moved to a care home, we continued to have their support while she settled in, they were a great help in assisting Mum to adapt to her new surroundings.

After six months, we are still reasonably new to home care services, but we have found Home Instead Sutton to be absolutely fantastic with the care they provide for my mother. There is very good communication from both the office staff and the care pro ladies. They come in twice a day to guide my mother
through two difficult times of the day for her. It is difficult to help people who have had their independence all their lives and then need to rely on others to get washed etc. Mum’s carers seem to manage it with the dignity she deserves, and for that I am grateful. Long may our relationship with Home Instead continue.

Home Instead has been providing companionship for my mum for 18 months. They have sent the same companion every week which has allowed my mum to build a real friendship with her.

I’ve been very happy with the care provided since we started using Home Instead in October 2023. The carers are very thoughtful friendly and considerate and take into account that my mum is very hard of hearing. She was very reluctant at first to have anyone else other than me take care of her. She

I’ve been using Home Instead Sutton for a year and I have found their service to be excellent. My care professional is well-matched and is a great help to me on her visits. She really understands my needs and gives me great support on days where I’m not feeling 100%. The care manager and team are always
there to talk to and give me any support I need. I would not be in the position I am today without their kindness and understanding.

We have been using Home Instead for about 18 months and overall they are excellent. Both mum and I are very very happy with the service provided. Every Care Provider that mum and I have been introduced to have all been really attentive and and thoughtful of my mum's needs. They are always punctual
and are always very clean and tidy. Most of all they are always smiling when they arrive, which is lovely. Home Instead also reviews the client's needs every few months, which is really good.
