They took the time to sit with him, chat and really get to know him. They also did a wonderful job helping with his meals and some household chores. It has been a great service from start to finish.

My Mother has had both full time and hourly care from Home Instead. Staff are punctual, professional but most of all kind and thoughtful. The care has enabled her to stay out of hospital and in her own home. This has meant that she has stayed in the heart of village life which is very important to her. The flexibility of provision has been exceptional with every effort made to meet need as things change over time. Thank you.

I was delighted with the service provided by home instead, I have no doubt that they enabled my Mum to stay at home longer that she would have been safe to do so without their support. They carers were very kind and gentle with Mu and treated her with respect.

My partner had Vascular dementia and Alzheimer's and was in Residential Care in Chippenham...sadly he passed away early January 2026.

His Home Instead professional carers came in to see him twice a week from the beginning of July 2025 onwards to help him settle into the Home.

He had used their services whilst he was at home and it made sense to continue using the Services of Home Instead so that he had a familiar face/person around him and who he felt comfortable with.

They always treated him with great respect, understanding, care and dignity and he really looked forward to their visits. One of the Professional carers visited him on Boxing Day at the Care Home.

He liked all of the Carers but he did have a special place in his heart for one of them...they just bonded and had a really lovely friendly, professional relationship.

My 92 year old mother and I cannot recommend Home Instead Salisbury highly enough. It was so refreshing and reassuring to find a home care company that were professional, compassionate and so well organised.

My mother knows her own mind and they listened to her needs and found her the perfect carers in Lorraine and Julie.

Mum was very sad to lose them when she took the decision to move into a local care home as she really enjoyed the interaction with both of her carers. She loved to chat to them on her good days and she appreciated their sensitivity on her bad days.

I was already aware of the great service your carers have given to my aunt in the last few years. Their care and concern for her were so appreciated. They were never rushed and always did over and beyond. Always with respect for their client.

But in the last week of her life they excelled. She needed medical intervention. They knew exactly what to do, their training and expertise kicked in straightaway.

In the final few days of her life, the carers helped us make decisions we would have been out of our depth to make.

They are caring, kind, thorough, compassionate. I can not recommend them or their managers too highly. They have made a difficult time smooth, efficient but with knowledge and compassion. Thank you.

My mum had help from Home Instead for about 3 years. The carers really did become like friends, as well as carrying out various household tasks. To start with the visits included shopping trips. As time went on, and life became more difficult, the carers' role changed to include medication and personal care. Eventually it became unsafe to continue keeping mum in her own house, but Home Instead helped with the transition to a nursing home, by visiting mum in the home.

It was always easy to contact the team, by email or telephone (even out of hours, by phone) and we were able to read the carer's notes from each visit online. When there were problems these were resolved eg if mum didn't get on with a particular carer, someone else would be found.

Home Instead have now been supporting my mother to stay in her own home for nearly 2 years. The Care Pros in her team are patient, thoughtful, adaptable and, above all, always very kind. We could not manage without them.

The whole experience of starting up receiving care from Home Instead earlier in 2025 and the flexibility and changes to adapt to changes in requirements through the year has been nothing but positive and a huge help when dealing with stressful situations. Care needs change, and the team at Home Instead adapt to these changes in a proactive and caring/understanding way.

The whole Home instead team from the frontline carers and the back office team are all very helpful, caring and understanding - it really is hugely valued.

We are pleased with the care package that has been put in place by us and the care provider. I am able to contact them easily and discuss any issues or changes that need to be made with regards to my step father and they are quick to respond when I need to talk things through. I like the notes that are kept that I can access at anytime.
