Home Instead have provided excellent service caring for my husband. We have used the service on 3 occasions in the last 3 months for periods between 10 hours and 3 hours with 3 different carers, all of whom have been excellent. To sum up: excellent service, friendly, well organised, prompt. Understanding of client and carers needs.

It's genuinely almost impossible. As the only daughter living on the other side of the world with my family, it gives me enough peace of mind and heart to not feel I need to move back to care for dad ONLY due to our incredible care co-ordinator and her team. He would be miserable in a care home, and can no longer safely leave the house or look after himself alone. Both his immediate carers and the co-ordinater who I talk to and email regularly are incredibly kind, professional and responsive. Dad is social, but almost 99, and not always easy to please or find a personality match for, and they do an outstanding job even when substitute carers are needed. In one case there's literally an 80 year age gap. No idea how they crossed that beyond everyone having both the highest standard of care and hearts of gold.

We've just had to make the very difficult decision to move mum to a care home- she has had almost 10 years of being wonderfully looked after by Home Instead Bath, (before that my father was a client) but has become increasingly frail in recent weeks. She has loved the companionship, shopping expeditions, trips out and help around the house and has been able to stay at home living alone with support from HI well into her 90's. We are very grateful and I know mum will miss her carers!

All in all a very good caring company which met nearly all of my needs

Home Instead looked after my 95-year-old cousin (who was bed-bound and required four visits per day) for three years. The quality of their care was very high, with lovely ladies for whom nothing was too much trouble. They provided a number of services beyond the basic care package including shopping, pet care and booking transport for hospital visits. Paperwork and invoicing was always scrupulously accurate. I cannot speak highly enough of Home Instead and their wonderful carers.

They took the time to sit with him, chat and really get to know him. They also did a wonderful job helping with his meals and some household chores. It has been a great service from start to finish.

My Mother has had both full time and hourly care from Home Instead. Staff are punctual, professional but most of all kind and thoughtful. The care has enabled her to stay out of hospital and in her own home. This has meant that she has stayed in the heart of village life which is very important to her. The flexibility of provision has been exceptional with every effort made to meet need as things change over time. Thank you.

I was delighted with the service provided by home instead, I have no doubt that they enabled my Mum to stay at home longer that she would have been safe to do so without their support. They carers were very kind and gentle with Mu and treated her with respect.

We are at the start of a journey with Dad. Home Instead is at the moment providing some companionship, whilst getting to know him. As his dementia progresses, we hope the carers will help him with increasing care support. Many thanks.

My partner had Vascular dementia and Alzheimer's and was in Residential Care in Chippenham...sadly he passed away early January 2026.

His Home Instead professional carers came in to see him twice a week from the beginning of July 2025 onwards to help him settle into the Home.

He had used their services whilst he was at home and it made sense to continue using the Services of Home Instead so that he had a familiar face/person around him and who he felt comfortable with.

They always treated him with great respect, understanding, care and dignity and he really looked forward to their visits. One of the Professional carers visited him on Boxing Day at the Care Home.

He liked all of the Carers but he did have a special place in his heart for one of them...they just bonded and had a really lovely friendly, professional relationship.

My 92 year old mother and I cannot recommend Home Instead Salisbury highly enough. It was so refreshing and reassuring to find a home care company that were professional, compassionate and so well organised.

My mother knows her own mind and they listened to her needs and found her the perfect carers in Lorraine and Julie.

Mum was very sad to lose them when she took the decision to move into a local care home as she really enjoyed the interaction with both of her carers. She loved to chat to them on her good days and she appreciated their sensitivity on her bad days.
