My husband became a client of Home Instead from 8th April 2024 until his death on 2nd December 2026, and the care which he received was exemplary. The carer arrived every morning at 10:30 am and would help him get washed, dressed and come downstairs on his chairlift. They were all unfailingly kind,
patient and understanding, and he was extremely happy receiving their support. They all followed his planned daily routine with the utmost diligence and sensitivity, and were always ready to listen and advise whenever I had any concerns. I will be forever grateful for all their wonderful support.

We first engaged assistance from Home Instead some years ago when my parents needed basic help in living at home. Sadly my mother died five years ago and since then Home Instead have provided increasing care sessions to support my father who is now 102 years old. Their carers have all been professional
and cheerful, attentive to my father's needs. There is no doubt that they have ensured he can remain living happily in his own home, which is what he wants to do. The carers and the office team have also provided huge support to myself as his primary carer, helping me to navigate the best solutions for his health and well-being. The cost of all home care is expensive but Home Instead does provide a high quality, personal and very responsive service.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Home Instead care agency in Bexhill. Over the last couple of years the guidance and support we have received and the care provided to Mum has proved invaluable in ensuring that, with appropriate support, Mum can continue to live independently in her own
home, which is her preferred choice. None moreso than currently during the absence of Mum's long term cleaning lady for 4 weeks, whilst visiting her Daughter in Australia! One of Mum's regular carers signed up for extra hours to fill the breach, and has fulfilled that role seamlessly along with her regular care duties. At 89 and virtually housebound, the thought of change in routine can be extremely unsettling and challenging for our loved ones and that in turn affects those around them, leading to what can be a very difficult time for all involved. In the event Mum has benefited from the reassurance provided by her carer, as have we knowing that she is well-cared for and content.

I cannot speak too highly of the care provided for my father by Home Instead. I am so grateful to have had the company recommended to me, when I was realising some sort of care would be required. Every effort has been put into understanding him, getting to know him, and matching CarePros to his needs
and personality. They are all lovely!
This has been really appreciated, both by myself, and by my father - who now genuinely looks forward to their visits, and responds well to the interest shown in him, and happily hears snippets of what's going on in their life as well.
The last couple of months saw a deterioration in his condition, and I've really appreciated the support which has been given, not only to him, but also to me. I've not felt 'on my own'. The managers and office staff are very approachable and always helpful, by phone or by email, and in his home, everything is done in a professional manner, with gentleness and respect. I could not ask for more!

Overall experience of Home Instead has been very good. All the care givers understand the needs of the client. Communication between office and care givers is excellent. Even if I as a family member phone the office with any concerns either for the client or my general welfare, the office staff will
listen with empathy and understanding.
They are not the cheapest company but they give attention to the smallest detail of the client's needs and wishes.

Have been very impressed with our first three months. The senior care manager has been an active carer before hand-off to wider team, which gives great confidence. Other carers have so far been excellent. Communication and transparency have been very good, and late notice respite cover was provided
with no problems. Also nice to form relationships with the owner, who has been in regular touch throughout.

Mum is very happy with the service provided by Home Instead. She has a carer for light duties/companionship for an hour twice weekly. Her carer is friendly and polite and will do her utmost to ensure that mum's needs are met during the time she is with her. Mum appreciates the outings to the supermarket
with her carer, which the would be unable to do by herself. Home Instead staff have always bean willing to listen and will tailor their service to mum's requirements. Management are very accommodating to changes in mum's needs.

Our family contacted Home Instead Bexhill when we became worried about my aunt. She lives alone in England and we are all in Canada. We were able to set up daily visits with care pros who helped her organize her day and her meals, made sure there was food in the fridge, helped her sort her mail, administered
medications, accompanied her to health appointments, and helped her get out for various social times with friends. Sometimes all that was needed was a shared cup of coffee and a natter, and that was just fine. We were very happy with the service. The care pros were friendly and punctual, and were always willing to do the various things that needed doing to help my aunt live a full and active life. We especially liked being able to see the activities of each day, and how my aunt was faring, through the client portal. We would certainly recommend this service to others in our situation.

Home Instead have been coming to my mother twice a day since April. They are vital to my mother's independence and safety. The carers are compassionate and willing to go the extra mile. My mother particularly likes the same person, where possible, coming. They build up a trust and friendship.

We were very happy with the thoughtful and professional way in which my mother's care plan was arranged and implemented. All the carers were kind, thoughtful and caring, making my mother feel very comfortable and safe. We would certainly use their services again and would happily recommend them.

My wife has had a positive service from Home Instead since it started in March 2025. She has been accompanied to and from a weekly choir she likes to attend and from a well being in nature group she also likes to attend. With the latter there was a blip at the beginning because my wife would leave the
group early and miss the carer picking her up, which was resolved eventually by the carer staying with her for the group and accompanying her home, which worked well, as did having an older carer accompanying her. My wife was not against having a younger carer but found it easier to relate to an older carer and has definitely clicked with her and has achieved a warm relationship which has been beneficial to her and me.
During review discussions with senior staff I have found them very supportive, understanding and flexible and appreciated and learnt from the good advice given.
Thanks for your support which has enabled me to have breaks and keep in touch with friends.

We have been using Home Instead (HI) for the last 3 months. They started visiting our mother twice a week and another care company were also doing similar on different days. It became apparent that HI were providing a far superior service so we decided to give all 4 days to them. We feel that HI have
given us excellent customer service from the 'office' and equally from the carers themselves.
We particularly like the online communications following each visit as well as the notebook set up in mums home.
The carers go that next step and not only give the service requested but also have taken on themselves to play cards and scrabble with mum.
Recently they have carried out a 3 monthly review of their service with us which enabled both mum and us to share views during a very positive meeting.

I have nothing but praise for the people at Home Instead who cover Brighton. Initially my mum only needed one visit a day but was very reluctant to accept help. The managers and carers were very supportive in developing a plan to give her the help she needed in a way that suited her best. Later as her
needs increased the whole team supported me in ensuring that she had everything she needed to remain in her own home, even as her health deteriorated, just as she wanted. Paula and Loretta who were her principal live in carers were outstanding in the care and comfort they gave her.
The carers used an online App so that I knew daily how she was and also anything that needed my attention.

Home Instead and their Care Professionals (CP) transformed my Aunt's quality of life in the last 6 months living at home. All of the CPs were kind, compassionate, practical and most importantly offered my Aunt company and made her laugh, something my Aunt loved to do. As the organiser of my Aunt's care
I found Home Instead not only a pleasure to deal with they were quick to adapt their approach as my Aunt's needs changed. Just a shame that this care in the home couldn't have gone on for a bit longer! Keep up the good work - you do make a huge difference. Thank you.

Since using Home Instead, I have been more than satisfied with the service I have received. My carer is extremely kind and quickly identifies jobs that need doing, cooks for me expertly, does all my laundry and ironing and helps me control my wilful cat. She also offers companionship and encouragement.

I am very pleased with the help and support my mum has received from Home Instead, Bexhill for the last three years.
The first year was for companionship, and the last two years it has been stepped up to personal care, meal preparations, checks on medication, and visits to the doctors etc.
I live
a long way from Bexhill and Home Instead have enabled my mum to stay healthy in her own home, where she feels safe and happy.
I have always found the care pros very friendly, professional and caring. I am hoping that with this support my mum will be able to stay in her own home for many years to come.
