Home Instead (Crowborough, Tenterden & Rye)

My experience so far has been excellent with the staff being helpful and attentive to my needs.

I am very happy with both my experience of Home Instead and our carer. Complete professionalism and understanding. Our needs are always met, and everybody goes the extra mile to ensure all is ok. I thoroughly recommend.

I find that in all ways my care is quite excellent no matter what I ask her to do to help me.

Our helper has been very pleasant and done everything we have asked including wiping fridge out preparing meals washing floors and hoovering and chatting to both of us.

Have been very impressed with our first three months. The senior care manager has been an active carer before hand-off to wider team, which gives great confidence. Other carers have so far been excellent. Communication and transparency have been very good, and late notice respite cover was provided with no problems. Also nice to form relationships with the owner, who has been in regular touch throughout.

Mum is very happy with the service provided by Home Instead. She has a carer for light duties/companionship for an hour twice weekly. Her carer is friendly and polite and will do her utmost to ensure that mum's needs are met during the time she is with her. Mum appreciates the outings to the supermarket with her carer, which the would be unable to do by herself. Home Instead staff have always bean willing to listen and will tailor their service to mum's requirements. Management are very accommodating to changes in mum's needs.

We were very happy with the thoughtful and professional way in which my mother's care plan was arranged and implemented. All the carers were kind, thoughtful and caring, making my mother feel very comfortable and safe. We would certainly use their services again and would happily recommend them.

Recently they have carried out a 3 monthly review of their service with us which enabled both mum and us to share views during a very positive meeting.

Since using Home Instead, I have been more than satisfied with the service I have received. My carer is extremely kind and quickly identifies jobs that need doing, cooks for me expertly, does all my laundry and ironing and helps me control my wilful cat. She also offers companionship and encouragement.

I would recommend Home Instead to anyone that needs support in their own home, because there's nothing like being able to stay independent.

I have found staff to be pleasant & efficient. They have been very reliable, always on time and supportive. They have been willing to make necessary changes at short notice.

The care package was set up quickly and efficiently which was important as my husband suddenly took a turn for the worst. But more importantly the care was amazing. They were all kind + considerate and very professional. Plus timetable was set up + they were always on time. Very pleased with this service.

In the short time we have been using the service I have found the care and service to be excellent.

Up to now, my experience of 2 weeks has only been excellent, very kind and helpful.

I find having a very personable career takes the anxiety out of living. It allows my husband and myself to carry on with our activities without worrying about anything else.

I was only sorry that my parents' health and care needs became more than could be provided for at home.

My mother has been using Home Instead for 6 months and there has been big improvement on her quality of life and mental well being. Mum has visits 6 days a week and is well supported. It has made her less isolated, enabling her to go for short walks which she was nervous to do before. She has help with housework and just having some company each day when our family are working gives great peace of mind.

The Home Instead carers who look after my elderly mother are not only well-trained and professional but kind, thoughtful and practical. It is a relief to now be having more hours from this agency as we have the reassurance of reliability of visits and consistency of care, which is really important. I value knowing exactly who is going in and when and that I would be contacted if any concerns about my mother. Communications seem efficient and it is good to know that my mother's care plan is carefully updated when necessary. Thank you Home Instead, especially for the extra emergency support this summer.

Very happy with all the staff attending to my mum they are all patient and caring. They help to make her day focused and achieve her being able to get some routine in her day. Thank you to the staff much appreciated.

We are delighted that Home Instead care for our mother. They looked after Dad superbly until his death last year; this allowed him to die at home which is what he wanted. Mum wants to continue living at home and that is possible with Home Instead's input. I particularly like the fact that Home Instead prioritises trusted relationships and they do not accept visits of less than 1 hour. Communication is excellent and Mum always knows who she's going to get and when. Thank you so much to all the staff.
