The care package was set up quickly and efficiently which was important as my husband suddenly took a turn for the worst. But more importantly the care was amazing. They were all kind + considerate and very professional. Plus timetable was set up + they were always on time. Very pleased with this service.

The staff of Home Instead provided all the reassurance I needed that my parents were going to be looked after well. They were thoughtful and professional, and, I think, went the extra mile to make sure that this very elderly couple retained their dignity and self respect.
They provided friendship
and company as well as making sure that my parents were well fed, clean and comfortable.
These were not easy times, but staff were cheerful and compassionate, and improved my parents' quality of life greatly.
I was only sorry that my parents' health and care needs became more than could be provided for at home.

My mother has been using Home Instead for 6 months and there has been big improvement on her quality of life and mental well being. Mum has visits 6 days a week and is well supported. It has made her less isolated, enabling her to go for short walks which she was nervous to do before. She has help with
housework and just having some company each day when our family are working gives great peace of mind.

The Home Instead carers who look after my elderly mother are not only well-trained and professional but kind, thoughtful and practical. It is a relief to now be having more hours from this agency as we have the reassurance of reliability of visits and consistency of care, which is really important.
I value knowing exactly who is going in and when and that I would be contacted if any concerns about my mother. Communications seem efficient and it is good to know that my mother's care plan is carefully updated when necessary. Thank you Home Instead, especially for the extra emergency support this summer.

We are delighted that Home Instead care for our mother. They looked after Dad superbly until his death last year; this allowed him to die at home which is what he wanted. Mum wants to continue living at home and that is possible with Home Instead's input. I particularly like the fact that Home Instead
prioritises trusted relationships and they do not accept visits of less than 1 hour. Communication is excellent and Mum always knows who she's going to get and when. Thank you so much to all the staff.

It has been our pleasure to provide support for your mother, our valued client, and previously for your father. We truly appreciate you and your family for being so understanding, and it has been a privilege to care for your mum. She is a delightful person - very pleasant and highly regarded by our care professionals, who always look forward to their visits with her.

Care staff, overall, have been pleasant and helpful and willing to do anything requested.
Cooking skills vary in experience but all carers have agreed to carry out requests as well as possible.
I appreciate the way the agency provided extra support when I was suddenly taken ill with Covid and complications.
Communication
at the agency, with staff and myself not always the best with occasional changes but matters now are much improved and seem satisfactory.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback and for allowing us the privilege to support you over the past three and a half years. We are delighted to have provided consistent care, even with the challenges posed by limited local staff availability over the past two years. Despite these difficulties, we ensured continuity of care with almost no cancellations, particularly during your recent health challenges related to Covid. Our entire team, including the owner and registered manager, worked closely together to provide round-the-clock support. We also acknowledge the one-time communication issue which occurred about two years ago when there was a brief misunderstanding in the first 30 seconds of a call, where it wasn't immediately clear that the call was from Home Instead. We are pleased that this hasn't happened again and everything has been running smoothly since. Thank you again for trusting us with your care.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Taking over as a sole owner in the summer of 2022 and building up the business has been an amazing opportunity to fully engage in my lifelong passion for learning, continuous improvement, supporting the community, leading a team, working in partnership with others, and achieving quality-of-life-enhancing results. This experience has taught me to strive for excellence and inspire, train, and facilitate others to do the same, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care.

My roles have included customer service, translation, supervision, management, and cultural heritage. I completed my degree in psychology with the goal of providing support for people in need. Helping others has always been my priority and source of energy. My naturally caring and supportive nature led me to pursue a career in this field.

Job Title: Senior Care Professional and Trainer

After many years working in office administration and management roles outside the care sector, I made a career change in early 2023. Inspired by the experience of caring for my father during his illness, I joined a domiciliary care agency as a Care Worker, where I worked for 18 months before moving into my current role.

I began as a Care Professional and was quickly promoted to Senior Care Professional. I am now training to become our In-House Trainer and currently studying for my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

One of my proudest moments has been working with a lovely couple in their late 90s. After one of them experienced a fall and a hospital stay, I supported them in accepting changes and equipment to improve their care — helping them continue living safely at home.

My ethos in care is rooted in empathy, compassion, and treating every client with dignity and respect.
