This is just to say thank you for everything you do.
Mum really looks forward to Dawn and Cathy's visits.
They do all the hard work and, just as important, have become real friends.
The rest of the team do an amazing job of keeping everything on track, adjusting to changing needs and keeping
admin simple.
Without Home Instead, we would be struggling. With Home Instead, life looks good!
Thank you, Michael

I was concerned that my mum would not let carers into her long-standing home, but they won her over, treating her with dignity, respect & as an equal. They quickly established how to gain her trust, and my mum continues to enjoy their company and friendship as they administer her medication and cook
her lunch.
Reply from Sophie Martin, Marketing at Home Instead (Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe)Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are pleased to hear that your mum has built those wonderful relationships with the team.

Home Instead have been caring for my parents for over two years. They have enabled my parents to stay at home with three visits daily. The carers are excellent and very patient, and help with medication, meals, washing etc. Recently when my mother was very ill, they worked hard to ensure that we
had temporary night-time cover too, at very short notice.
Reply from Sophie Martin, Marketing at Home Instead (Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe)Thank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely review. It means a great deal to our whole team. We feel privileged to have supported your parents over the past two years, and we're so glad our visits have helped them remain comfortably at home.

Home Instead have been excellent throughout. Staff are compassionate and caring, very well trained, and so patient, content. Very good communication from the office, and sharing updates regarding changing care needs. Good supervision noted, excellent, timely record keeping, which is fully accessible
to us.

I have been using the services of Home Instead Bury St Edmunds for almost six months to care for my parents.
I was instantly impressed with the speed of response following my first contact and with the initial care plan put together tailored to my parents' specific requirements. I am equally impressed
at the flexibility shown to amend this care plan to accommodate their ever changing needs.
The care professionals that visit my parents are exactly that, caring & professional & they have always been introduced first which is particularly reassuring. They are always very kind and thoughtful and it is comforting for me to know my parents are in safe hands.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead Bury St Edmunds, I have found the entire team to be helpful, kind, professional & coordinated and they clearly care very much about the service they provide.

I would highly recommend the carers from Home Instead, they have been excellent with my mother in law. She was initially reluctant to accept any help from anyone, but the care team have worked hard to gain her trust and build good relationships. My mother in law has a diagnosis of Alzheimer's and support
is needed with taking her medication and meals, she also needs assistance with shopping and being accompanied on short walks. The support Home Instead have provided has enabled her to remain living at home and given her much needed companionship. The App is excellent at letting us know how each visit has gone. Thank you.

A wonderful caring and professional team. Always happy to help and always so flexible with our mother's needs. I cannot recommend them more highly.
They always considered mums interests as an individual, even down to how she liked a cup of tea made.
Reply from Brian Mcfarlane, Owner at Home Instead (Bury St Edmunds)Thank you, Jane, it really was a pleasure looking after mum. She will be sadly missed.

Thank you to all the carers and staff at Home Instead who have looked after my Dad for the last year or so. Professional and caring throughout, Home Instead enabled him to stay independent in his own home. Always patient and kind, the carers were able to cope with a man who could be difficult and stubborn.
The support staff back at base were always helpful and efficient, friendly and supportive, and always available. This, combined with the useful reports available on the app, was very valuable for us as relatives.
Special thanks also to Sam, who was with my Dad on his last morning at home, and was a great support to me when I arrived to face a difficult situation.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead in Ipswich.

I cannot fault the care given to my Mother and am very grateful for all that the care professionals and other members of the Home Instead team did. Staff were always patient, caring and attentive to Mum's needs. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. Similarly 'back room' staff were always polite
and helpful when ever I had cause to contact the office.

I was hoping for carers who had more experience with late-stage Alzheimers. The process of getting a third carer to cover the live-in carers' sickness or holidays has not been good. A supply carer was sent who was not well. I needed extra help in getting the care plan updated. I acknowledge that time
was limited but any suggestion to help, for example, postponing a meeting were not accepted. The work was done but I was left in no doubt it had caused inconvenience. A visit from a trainer where there are obvious discrepancies have not shown any improvement.

We are very pleased with the home care service provided by Home Instead. They are client focused, taking time to understand our needs and agree a personalised care plan, which is reviewed regularly. The care professionals treat our family member with dignity and respect, offering companionship as well
as carrying out other duties. The management team are approachable, flexible and have responded rapidly to urgent and changing requirements. We would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead as a care company.

We've been using Home Instead for about a year and are very pleased with the service. We've used both live-in care and weekly visits for my dad who has dementia, he can be quite untrusting so it was a relief to see that he seems to get on well with all the carers. The staff are always helpful and deal

Home Instead provided support for my wife, who has dementia, in the period when we were waiting for a room to become available in an appropriate residential home. Their initial needs assessment was very thorough and was important in determining the proper support. Each of the care workers providing
the support was very professional, empathetic and engaging with my wife. I was very pleased to have the additional support to bridge the periods until my wife could enter the home.

I would highly recommend Home Instead they were excellent with my mum. Mum needed support with her personal care and companionship. Although it was for a short time because mum has now gone into a care home the whole company were amazing. Everyone I spoke to was helpful, kind and supportive. The App
was excellent at letting us know how mums visit had gone. A special mention to one member of staff who mum really became attached to, as they sang and danced together bringing her such joy. Thank you to the whole team.

I live and work in London and was experiencing considerable stress trying to manage my mum's care. Fortunately, I found Home Instead following a recommendation from my mum's clinic in Felixstowe. The management team and care givers are exceptional, well organised and very supportive. Before the start
of the contractual agreement, a senior manager and the proposed caregiving team spent an afternoon with Mum so that she could get to know them and feel comfortable which was extremely reassuring and a great experience for Mum and I. The team update me on any care issues and the App allows me to view details of each visit. But most of all my mum is happy and enjoys great companionship and care. This matters so much as she was married for 56 years and struggled after we lost Dad. Even Mum's neighbours are impressed and have met the care team. All of this means I can better manage my working life without added stress and worry. I highly recommend Home Instead. Thank you.

Very friednly carers. Carers are punctual at all times on visits.
Carers listen to my mother-in-law and respect her wishes, always happy to take her shopping or out on other trips.
The app is so nice as it's so important to know how my mother-in-law has responded to each visit.

My mum had carers from Home Instead for about 4 months over the summer. The whole process with the Home Instead team was excellent; thorough, clear and personable. From the initial conversation on the phone to the visits from the excellent manager to the choice of the two great carers, every stage was
taken in consultation with my mum. The team guided her through her options so she felt completely in control and never pressured into anything she wasn't sure of. Her two carers were very different people, but both were extremely interested in my mum, and always keen to chat about her and about themselves too. They were both very flexible and responded to what my mum asked them to do. My brother and I were extremely pleased about our mum's visits when we couldn't be there, and she was really reassured by their professionalism and care.
I think we received excellent value for money for Mum's care, and we would recommend Home Instead to others in the area without hesitation.
