Overall Experience

Home instead started visiting Mum as she wasn't eating well and was spending long periods of time on her own.
Reluctant at first I could very quickly see the change in Mum and would hear stories of the chats she had with her support workers.
I think she was very happy to meet new people and get to exchange

stories about each others lives.
She enjoyed sharing meals with people more.
I would say a big thankyou to the team and say that it was more than we hoped for and helped to make ..what turned out unexpectedly to be Mums last few months....happier for her and her family.

Overall Experience

Home Instead Stroud & South Cotswolds have cared for my husband for 20 months, and it's been a very positive experience overall. Carers are consistently professional, kind and attentive, but best of all, they interact well on a personal level, not only with my husband, but myself as well as any visitors

we have.
Communication with office staff is also excellent. They are always approachable, responsive & proactive, even when we request last minute changes, these are actioned without fuss. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Overall Experience

Although only recently started using this company have found everything works well. Particularly appreciate the care and then other carers bringing and introducing other carers that may come. They then have a good idea of what I need. Carers are always on time and all have been friendly and very helpful.

Overall Experience

I started using Home Instead in January after a serious health incident, and their support has been outstanding. The carers are reliable, timely, and genuinely helpful, what makes the biggest difference is how friendly and warm they are. I feel more like a family member than a client. They tailor their

approach to my comfort level, engaging in activities that support both my physical and mental recovery, their presence brings, structure to my day and helps me pace myself, which is essential as I recover from a severe stroke. Having a variety of carers is incredibly beneficial as each person brings diversity which is vital for my social interaction. Overall, Home Instead has provided companionship, consistency, and a sense of normality, as well as care.

Overall Experience

Home Instead Gloucester provided care services for my mother for six months. The standard of care and the supporting administrative services were excellent. The careers provided the care service we wanted but also took time to chat to Mum, which was very important in terms of her general wellbeing.

Overall Experience

Exactly what you would hope for. Everyone has been thoughtful, kind and very professional. The manager who came for the initial visit spent time getting to know my dad before appointing his carer. She was absolutely spot-on, my dad thinks she is brilliant. We have just had a review with both the carer

and another manager, and we had them both in tears as we described what a difference they had made to my dad's life since leaving hospital as he had been really struggling. They actually do care.
We are both so grateful.

Overall Experience

Home Instead carers looked after my father in his own home for 9 months while my mother was still alive, and then with more comprehensive care more recently until he had to go into a care home on a permanent basis.
The team of carers looking after him have been absolutely wonderful, really working

with my family to support my father in any way they could both physically and emotionally, during his changing health conditions.
The managers/ admin staff communicated very well and were very flexible as my father's needs changed.

Overall Experience

Our experience of care following a spell in hospital and a care home had been a harrowing one and I had lost faith in the adult social care system, however, a particular lady and her team at homeinstead have more than renewed my faith.
They have been fantastic! from our initial meeting with this lady

to the marvelous team of carers she introduced us to and implemented.
The carers are genuinely caring people who go above and beyond in providing quality care.
My husband was extremely fragile emotionally when he returned home but within a few weeks the carers have assisted me in bringing him back to his old self. He enjoys a laugh and joke with them and having consistency with the same team has helped enormously.
I would not hesitate in recommending homeinstead in the future.

Professional, compassionate and accommodating. My mother was able to continue living in her own home for a year longer than anticipated, before moving into care, thanks to the support and companionship provided by the small team of carers specifically allocated to her. I was particularly grateful

to them for continuously appraising me of all her care and health needs and for coming to her rescue out of hours on more than one occasion in the event of minor "emergencies".

Booking is never so easy. The cancellation window of 2 weeks is probably too short.
Carers are very good but sometimes the quality of cleaning isn't the highest. Other care is usually excellent.

Home Instead looked after my aunt with a level of care and dedication that you would be hard pushed to find elsewhere. They dedicated their time to ensuring she could remain at home, cooking, cleaning and doing anything required to ensure she lived in a dignified way. When the time came for her to leave

Overall Experience

From the moment I contacted Home Instead on the phone, I was confident I had made the right choice. A first meeting was made to suit my travel arrangements, everything was explained fully and our needs and requests were readily met. The carers who came to help my sister were without fail friendly, helpful

and very professional. Even though their help covered quite a short time, all the carers became more like friends to my sister. I felt that they all understood the background to her illness and showed a real understanding about her needs and how best to fulfil them and care for her in a thoughtful and understanding way.
For me, my niece and other sisters, Home Instead gave us a sense of support and shared responsibility at a time when we were worried and concerned about our sister's health. I really cannot praise everyone too highly and thoroughly recommend Home Instead to everyone.
