My mother received wonderful service and care from Home Instead whilst I was on holiday. She was delighted with the two carers who visited over the two week period and forged a real friendship with them. Having an introductory meeting put her mind at rest about how they would get on, and she has now decided to use the service again in the near future. As a result, I was able to enjoy my holiday with peace of mind.

Home Instead have provided wonderful care and companionship for Mum. All the carers have been very compassionate and supportive of mum. I would recommend them to friends and family.
A very useful service for me during a period of recuperation from a broken arm. Both helpers are willing to do small tasks I required (chopping veg, etc). Just really nice to have a regular visitor to chat to.

We have been pleased to have enjoyed a weekly 3 hour visit from the Home Instead team for the last year. The system is well set up, prepared and managed , and we were extremely happy with the carers who came to our home - they were prompt, thoughtful, cheerful and highly professional. The two regulars in particular deserve special comment: Catherine is a bubbly, very caring individual who always cheered my wife up, went the extra mile and was incredibly relaxed and helpful; and Alison, a highly experienced and extremely capable lady. We are very grateful for the assistance provided and highly recommend the organisation for top class care in the home.
My husband was very apprehensive about having a carer but the carer had a good attitude and treated him well, showing humour and understanding. She instinctively knew when T needed space but equally encouraged him to engage. Thanks so much!

Although only recently started using this company have found everything works well. Particularly appreciate the care and then other carers bringing and introducing other carers that may come. They then have a good idea of what I need. Carers are always on time and all have been friendly and very helpful.

I started using Home Instead in January after a serious health incident, and their support has been outstanding. The carers are reliable, timely, and genuinely helpful, what makes the biggest difference is how friendly and warm they are. I feel more like a family member than a client. They tailor their approach to my comfort level, engaging in activities that support both my physical and mental recovery, their presence brings, structure to my day and helps me pace myself, which is essential as I recover from a severe stroke. Having a variety of carers is incredibly beneficial as each person brings diversity which is vital for my social interaction. Overall, Home Instead has provided companionship, consistency, and a sense of normality, as well as care.

Home Instead Gloucester provided care services for my mother for six months. The standard of care and the supporting administrative services were excellent. The careers provided the care service we wanted but also took time to chat to Mum, which was very important in terms of her general wellbeing. Would certainly recommend Home Instead.

Professional, compassionate and accommodating. My mother was able to continue living in her own home for a year longer than anticipated, before moving into care, thanks to the support and companionship provided by the small team of carers specifically allocated to her. I was particularly grateful to them for continuously appraising me of all her care and health needs and for coming to her rescue out of hours on more than one occasion in the event of minor "emergencies".
