Overall Experience

My mum is 103 and manages to live independently with a daily visit "for a cuppa". She is housebound but still bright and sparky. Shopping is done for her and GP services are provided via home-visits. As an 'only-child' my partner and I are her sole carers but we were due to be away for 3 weeks
On several

strong recommendations, I contacted Home Instead Chester to see if they could help and they were wonderful. We devised a package of regular twice-weekly 'companionship' visits and I had the reassurance that they had the resources to escalate any necessary interventions. It was clear from the very beginning that Home Instead embodies exactly the caring and professional culture we wanted and my mum appreciated. They spent time getting to know her and they listened. Every appointment was kept and all the communications worked efficiently. Thankfully no intervention was needed but we were totally reassured by their involvement and free to enjoy our much-needed break knowing she was safe.

Overall Experience

Mum had excellent care provided from April until August 2025. Home Instead were recommended to me by a trusted friend and I could not have wished for better service. Patience, kindness and gentleness from everyone who dealt with Mum; and reassurance for me at all times.
I have no hesitation in recommending

Home Instead as Care providers, everyone has proven reliable, honest, capable and objective. Huge thanks to everyone.
I have not given a "value for money" rating as I made no comparison with other companies, accepting the recommendation of my friend's experience.

A great bunch of people offering a caring and reliable service over the last 18 months
From the initial contact right up to the last day HomeInstead have been amazing in the way they've interacted with my aunt during the weekly home visits
The feedback via their App has been useful and helpful
Their

team did whatever they could for my aunt - often in quite challenging circumstances due to her declining condition.
They offer a caring professional service - by far the best I have ever come across.

The carers are all very pleasant and helpful and also very flexible in being willing to undertake a variety of requests such as dog walking, hospital appointments, occasional shopping and assistance with online shopping and purchases. punctuality good.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provided care and support for my mother when it became apparent that she was struggling to manage with her previous arrangements.
Despite being over 100 years old she had lived at home with limited support until spring of this year. An infection left her weak and after a period of respite

care in a care home she was keen to return home.
This was made possible by the care provided and despite this being a difficult period as her strength declined the carers were both capable and positive in their support, we were pleasantly surprised that despite there being a number of different carers all made an immediately favourable impression and showed great empathy and concern.
My only regret is that my mother's decline became rapid and we were forced to have her readmitted to the care home.
If we had had a little more time it would have been possible to arrange more comprehensive support with the necessary equipment.
I have nothing but praise for the carers who looked her.

Home Instead Northwich have been helping my mum for about 18 months now and her current care professional is great. Mum looks forward to her visits, she really helps with small jobs mum now struggles to do and the notes she writes up for us to read are really helpful. A big thanks to three members of

Home Instead in Warrington have been helping to look after my parents in their home for 10 years. We first employed them to help with my father, who had dementia. They were a great help to my mother in living with her husband, who became more difficult to deal with prior to his death in 2020. Since

then, Home Instead have allowed my mother to live independently in her own home for 5 years until her mobility became so poor that she has recently decided to move into a nursing home.

I was going travelling for a few months and suggested to mum she had some help whilst I was away. She initially didn't want any care/help, and now after a couple of months she couldn't be happier with Home Instead and looks forward to the visits where she has help with the household chores. She also

enjoys going out with the care professional to do some shopping or for just a coffee and a chat. She loves to read the notes from the visits on the App which is very user friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provide care mornings and teatimes for three and a half days a week for my Mum, who is in her 90s. They are a very friendly team and, as well as doing a few jobs, they also provide company for Mum.
Mum was very resistant initially to having carers in her home, but overtime the ladies have

won her over and she now welcomes their visits.
The carers are very reliable and extremely helpful, for example, when Mum didn't feel well and needed to contact the Drs our carer assisted her. The office staff are also extremely helpful and friendly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead for themselves or a family member.

Overall Experience

Home Instead have provided care and support to my father who has mild dementia for about 16 months starting when my mother was hospitalised. The carers provide a flexible service to my parents and their visits are much appreciated by all.

We have been using Home Instead for 4 months for my husband's care. Initially, 2 visits a day, but following a time in hospital now increased to 4 visits a day. Excellent service from the office based team. Always helpful and supportive. Quality of skills shown by care pro's is quite varied, most are

excellent, but a few not so. All care pro's are friendly and on time for visits. We used a different provider before Home Instead, and the difference in service is remarkable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care provision for themselves or a family member.

Overall Experience

It was lovely to meet the carer when we arrived home who brought us up to date with what had been happening while we were away.
How wonderful to hear from the carer that our nephew really liked the four carers who looked after him,
he was very happy. It was especially nice to hear that all the

carers really liked our nephew and how nice it
was for them to care for him. It was also nice to hear that one of the carers didn't want to be relieved of duty so soon as she liked caring for our nephew.
Our nephew especially liked it when a carer took him to the beach. Our nephew said he wanted
'Uncle and Aunty to go to the holiday house now, and the carer to come here again'.
It was so nice and wonderful to have a 'happy nephew ' when we came home.
We have used Home Instead before in the past and found that the service provided then as now,

Home Instead are amazing. After Dad came out of hospital after a fall, he needed overnight care until he could manage for himself. We contacted Siobhan on the Monday and she arranged carers to start on the following evening. She made sure Dad met the carers before they stayed overnight and kept in contact

to make sure everything was going ok. We couldn't have asked for better service - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dad is managing on his own now, but we wouldn't hesitate to use Home Instead again if Dad needs help in the future.

Overall Experience

We have used Home Instead for over 2 years. During that time we have NEVER had a problem whatsoever. All the carers became much more to my mother, in fact they became friends to her. If there was little to do around the house they would sit with her, hold hands with her and chat.

Overall Experience

I needed help at home following a hip replacement and Home Instead provided me with carers for the first 4 weeks following my surgery. They provided me with all the help I needed in the preparation of meals, housework, application of surgical stockings etc. In fact there was nothing I felt they could

not help me with. Each of the carers worked to the highest of standards. They were all punctual and extremely pleasant. In fact I felt that I got to know them well in the short time they were with me.
Should I be in a similar situation in the future, I would not hesitate to use Home Instead. They are very a very professional organisation.

Overall Experience

In November my parents had a failed experience of respite care. Whilst making plans for them to return home, Home Instead provided an outstanding level of support to enable us to increase carers visits.
I can't understate how much their professional and understanding approach helped with a very difficult

situation and this is ongoing.
I feel confident with the whole service and the attitude and support given is inclusive of both admin and care staff as they are all exceptionally helpful and definitely go above and beyond.
Home Instead are a lifeline for us as a family due to having confidence in their overall delivery of care with a professional attitude.

Overall Experience

Home Instead have cared for my Mum and Dad for about 4 years now. Their support has adapted to Mum and Dad's changing care needs which has enabled my parents to remain in their own home with their much loved pets.
Care has been delivered with great compassion and respect for my parents' dignity but

most importantly the visits of the Care Pros have brought fun and interest into their lives.
More recently my parents needed Live In Care and the Live In Care Pros' professional yet homely input has given me a reassuring peace of mind.
