Don had carers visit twice a week to do some general care and cleaning. Don enjoyed their company and it also gave me peace of mind to know he was regularly being looked after and I was able to have twice weekly updates using the very accessible app on my phone about his well being (I live over 6 hrs drive away and wasn't able to visit often due to distance and work commitments). When Don was found clasped at home, the careers ensured Don was taking into hospital and then continued to visit him there regularly which was very reassuring. Don most certainly benefited from having care at home meaning he could be relatively independent at the great age of 98.

My Dad has been looked after by Home Instead since November 2025. Since having a stroke he is being fed via a PEG and has communication issues. On top of this he is an unstable diabetic and this presents a range of complex issues. Home Instead have gone out of their way to ensure that all of their staff are trained to efficiently meet his needs. There are some amazing staff at Home Instead who really go the extra mile, and they have provided Dad with superb care. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone from the managers through to the carers have provided us with a superb service.

I have received very good service throughout the year. Staff are helpful, efficient and kind. My needs are attended to promptly.

I can not recommend Home Instead highly enough. They cared for my Dad who has Alzheimer's for several years until he recently moved to a Nursing Home. I don't believe Dad would have been able to remain at home for as long as he did, without the support and professionalism of the carers. They always treated Dad with respect and dignity and took time to get to know him. The whole team have supported us through some difficult times, and they go above and beyond to help.

Sadly Dad's dementia has progressed to the point that he has moved to dementia care in a home and Home Instead support him in that move too. Visiting him there to help him settle. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for the help and support over the years but I recommend you wholeheartedly to everyone who may need help.

We have had some very nice carers from HomeInstead who have looked after my mum and helped her. The office team have been very good as well, as they had to at the last minute arrange a carer for mum due to staff sickness, and this was done really well and both mum and I are grateful for this service. Having used Home Instead previously for our mother's care, we were happy to use them again when our father suffered a series of falls. We found them professional and compassionate, with some of the carers going beyond their remit to assist during difficult circumstances. They did their best to keep dad living independently at home. The on-line portal was a very useful tool, for the wider family to keep tabs on where dad's care was up to on a daily basis.

Home instead staff go over and above looking after my mum who has suffered 2 strokes leaving her unable to speak - they have arranged overnight care giving me peace of mind that my mum is in safe hands overnight. All the care pros are more like friends/family than carers. They have all adapted to looking after mum and have been proactive with any training required - I couldn't ask for more from the Care Pros or office based team - they have enabled mum to stay in her own home safely and are very proactive in reporting any issues with mum. Thank you just doesn't seem enough; but thank you for everything you all do! I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Home Instead to look after your loved ones - they will 100% be in safe hands.

On several strong recommendations, I contacted Home Instead Chester to see if they could help and they were wonderful. We devised a package of regular twice-weekly 'companionship' visits and I had the reassurance that they had the resources to escalate any necessary interventions. It was clear from the very beginning that Home Instead embodies exactly the caring and professional culture we wanted and my mum appreciated. They spent time getting to know her and they listened. Every appointment was kept and all the communications worked efficiently. Thankfully no intervention was needed but we were totally reassured by their involvement and free to enjoy our much-needed break knowing she was safe.

The carers are all very pleasant and helpful and also very flexible in being willing to undertake a variety of requests such as dog walking, hospital appointments, occasional shopping and assistance with online shopping and purchases. punctuality good.

Home Instead in Warrington have been helping to look after my parents in their home for 10 years. We first employed them to help with my father, who had dementia. They were a great help to my mother in living with her husband, who became more difficult to deal with prior to his death in 2020. Since then, Home Instead have allowed my mother to live independently in her own home for 5 years until her mobility became so poor that she has recently decided to move into a nursing home.
