Hand on heart, I don't know as a family what we would have done without HI Chester. From that first call to Jayne, they shifted into action at a very urgent, stressful and emotional time. They were very professional, experienced, caring and supportive. Their hands on care was of the highest standard, and I have already recommended them to friends and family. No request was too much - they moved mountains for us - and I feel very lucky that our experience has softened a heartbreaking journey.

Mum and I are delighted with the help and care that mum receives from Sue. She is always cheerful and happy. Mum looks forward to seeing Sue 3x a week. This is all down to Sue. Mum was very resistant to having help with showering or even anyone other then me help her in the house. I had my first holiday with having Sue coming into see mum 7x a week. This made such a huge difference and meant I could relax which is a small miracle! So thank you Sue!

We receive excellent care, especially from the older care professionals. The carers are always efficient and thorough, but have time for companionship and listening to our needs. They arrive on a timely basis and operate proactively. A pleasure to have in the house.

The care received from the Home Instead carers, for both my parents was excellent. I am so pleased that we made the decision to use this company, as all representatives were excellent in their care and compassion. Our parents have passed away now but I do believe, we couldn't have cared for them any better.

Don had carers visit twice a week to do some general care and cleaning. Don enjoyed their company and it also gave me peace of mind to know he was regularly being looked after and I was able to have twice weekly updates using the very accessible app on my phone about his well being (I live over 6 hrs drive away and wasn't able to visit often due to distance and work commitments). When Don was found clasped at home, the careers ensured Don was taking into hospital and then continued to visit him there regularly which was very reassuring. Don most certainly benefited from having care at home meaning he could be relatively independent at the great age of 98.

My Dad has been looked after by Home Instead since November 2025. Since having a stroke he is being fed via a PEG and has communication issues. On top of this he is an unstable diabetic and this presents a range of complex issues. Home Instead have gone out of their way to ensure that all of their staff are trained to efficiently meet his needs. There are some amazing staff at Home Instead who really go the extra mile, and they have provided Dad with superb care. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone from the managers through to the carers have provided us with a superb service.

I have received very good service throughout the year. Staff are helpful, efficient and kind. My needs are attended to promptly.

I can not recommend Home Instead highly enough. They cared for my Dad who has Alzheimer's for several years until he recently moved to a Nursing Home. I don't believe Dad would have been able to remain at home for as long as he did, without the support and professionalism of the carers. They always treated Dad with respect and dignity and took time to get to know him. The whole team have supported us through some difficult times, and they go above and beyond to help.

I found the review extremely informative, the review was very thorough and I was able to talk in depth about my mother's care and needs. I found out about services which I hadn't been aware of before.

We found your carer a perfect fit to look after my partner. She coped very well in coaxing her into washing and dressing. I could not be more happier.

Sadly Dad's dementia has progressed to the point that he has moved to dementia care in a home and Home Instead support him in that move too. Visiting him there to help him settle. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for the help and support over the years but I recommend you wholeheartedly to everyone who may need help.

We have had some very nice carers from HomeInstead who have looked after my mum and helped her. The office team have been very good as well, as they had to at the last minute arrange a carer for mum due to staff sickness, and this was done really well and both mum and I are grateful for this service. All their staff that we have come into contact with are really good and very kind with mum and we have got on with them well . So thank you for your continued help and support
