Home Instead (Warrington & Lymm)

Don had carers visit twice a week to do some general care and cleaning. Don enjoyed their company and it also gave me peace of mind to know he was regularly being looked after and I was able to have twice weekly updates using the very accessible app on my phone about his well being (I live over 6 hrs drive away and wasn't able to visit often due to distance and work commitments). When Don was found clasped at home, the careers ensured Don was taking into hospital and then continued to visit him there regularly which was very reassuring. Don most certainly benefited from having care at home meaning he could be relatively independent at the great age of 98.

I can not recommend Home Instead highly enough. They cared for my Dad who has Alzheimer's for several years until he recently moved to a Nursing Home. I don't believe Dad would have been able to remain at home for as long as he did, without the support and professionalism of the carers. They always treated Dad with respect and dignity and took time to get to know him. The whole team have supported us through some difficult times, and they go above and beyond to help.

Sadly Dad's dementia has progressed to the point that he has moved to dementia care in a home and Home Instead support him in that move too. Visiting him there to help him settle. I cannot adequately express my appreciation for the help and support over the years but I recommend you wholeheartedly to everyone who may need help.

Home instead staff go over and above looking after my mum who has suffered 2 strokes leaving her unable to speak - they have arranged overnight care giving me peace of mind that my mum is in safe hands overnight. All the care pros are more like friends/family than carers. They have all adapted to looking after mum and have been proactive with any training required - I couldn't ask for more from the Care Pros or office based team - they have enabled mum to stay in her own home safely and are very proactive in reporting any issues with mum. Thank you just doesn't seem enough; but thank you for everything you all do! I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Home Instead to look after your loved ones - they will 100% be in safe hands.

Home Instead in Warrington have been helping to look after my parents in their home for 10 years. We first employed them to help with my father, who had dementia. They were a great help to my mother in living with her husband, who became more difficult to deal with prior to his death in 2020. Since then, Home Instead have allowed my mother to live independently in her own home for 5 years until her mobility became so poor that she has recently decided to move into a nursing home.

Words are not enough to describe our gratitude to the team. They are kind, thoughtful, professional and understand what you need. We feel privileged to have welcomed such fantastic people into our lives and home.

Home Instead are amazing. After Dad came out of hospital after a fall, he needed overnight care until he could manage for himself. We contacted Siobhan on the Monday and she arranged carers to start on the following evening. She made sure Dad met the carers before they stayed overnight and kept in contact to make sure everything was going ok. We couldn't have asked for better service - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dad is managing on his own now, but we wouldn't hesitate to use Home Instead again if Dad needs help in the future.

We have used Home Instead for over 2 years. During that time we have NEVER had a problem whatsoever. All the carers became much more to my mother, in fact they became friends to her. If there was little to do around the house they would sit with her, hold hands with her and chat.

Our mum sadly passed away this morning. I just want to thank the team of carers that have looked after her over the past months and the special care she received over the last 3 weeks. I don't know what we would have done without. The care and dignity you showed her was truly amazing. We thank you all from the bottom of hearts.

Feeling apprehensive about having strangers come to the house changed after the first visit. Lovely people! Love their job. They felt like family, up to 2/3 visits. I would recommend Home Instead with a star rating. I feel I want to stay in touch as they have become so much part of our lives.

When Dad came out of hospital 18 months ago and Mum had gone to a care home, he was quite lost. We arranged for carers to do his tea every evening from Monday to Friday and they have been true lifesavers. They sit and chat, do light cleaning, put the washer on as well as doing Dad's tea and a hot drink. He loves their company, they've got to know him well by now and the feedback we get from every visit lets us know how Dad has been that day. They were fabulous when Mum passed away and helped Dad cope when we couldn't be there. Fantastic.

Professional, caring, compassionate - these words and others are what I would use to describe the care provided. You supported my aunt when she needed it. What you don't realise is the support you have given me! Without you all, I couldn't do it, and my aunt would be in a home. Thank you.

Home Instead has been an invaluable service for my mum, helping with general chores, personal care, food preparation and general company. The two ladies who came regularly were lovely. Thanks for everything.

I have been extremely happy with all the carers, always prompt, friendly and have made the experience easy to get used to. As I have used the system to recuperate from an operation and my health is back to normal now.
