Although it took time for mum to accept the care givers, they were always very patient and caring. She formed strong bonds with several of them and it became an essential service in terms of providing company when she was isolated and a long way from family. It gave us, as a family, peace of mind to
know she had caring people looking after her. They went beyond the remit of the agreement at times taking her to appointments and collection prescriptions as required. Thank you to the team for looking after our mum so well for so many years.

The management team was very supportive and most helpful in enabling us to navigate the difficult situation in which we unexpectedly found ourselves. They were very flexible and adapted quickly to a rapidly changing situation, with compassion and thoughtfulness in assessing the needs of both my aunt
and us.
The carers played a very important additional part in a larger team of healthcare professionals to support the family's wishes for the care we wanted to achieve for my aunt. I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

The ladies visiting my grandmother have been coming 3 nights a week for the last few months to give her dinner and some companionship. They have fitted right into her routine straight away and have made her feel so comfortable with them. It's also made us as a family feel secure that she is being taken
care of and getting some stimulation, as well as a good meal and being reminded to stay hydrated! We can't thank them enough, every person I have spoken to at that company is pleasant and happy to help.

I detailed what I felt were the needs of my husband and these needs were adhered to in every aspect. The carers were professional, kind, courteous, friendly and respectful. The office staff were always helpful and kind.

Their compassion and dedication have helped Mum to be independent and safe.

Home Instead have looked after my nan for over 5 years now (I think). They have been extremely flexible and accommodating. All of the carers my Nan has visited are outstanding. She even has regular caregivers which is so helpful as she lives with dementia and consistency is key to her care. All the
carers give my nan a choice and promote her dignity.
The office staff are absolutely amazing, they have changed the days that my Nan has carers in for us with short notice, and they have added extra care calls last minute when I have work commitments and cannot go and care for my Nan. They constantly communicate and send out our rota for the week which is helpful.
The care notes that we can access on the app are always amazing and detailed which is very helpful for myself and my family who look after Nan.
I can’t thank them enough. I never have to worry if I’m not able to go and see my Nan on a day that they visit as she is cared for extremely well.

You have to pay for the best, and these are the best. Each person went beyond anything other caring companies offered. They allowed my friend to live the last six months of her life in comfort, at home, surrounded by people who she thought of as friends! Their care also meant that her family, neighbours
and friends were less anxious as we knew they were 100% reliable. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

I am the elderly father of an adult son who has mental health and physical disabilities. Home Instead were recommended to us by his social worker some 18 months ago when I was trying to help him with a move. He wanted to make back towards some independent living in his own home supported by carers rather
than going into supported accommodation. Home Instead have provided an excellent service to that end with care visits that are long enough and by a regular team of carers for him to build up a good professional relationship with them. They have played a significant part in thus far successfully managing the move. They are approachable and flexible with regard to any need to vary the arrangements. This has been a great reassurance to my son and indeed to myself with the knowledge that after my day there will be in place a structured satisfactory care package to support him.

I consulted dad when doing this - he's very happy with his carers. He says the management doesn't always let him know if changes happen (ie being late) He thinks it's too expensive, I have the opposite opinion (it's worth every penny) I couldn't do it! Many thanks to all.

1) The home Instead office staff were most thorough during the initial consultation visit. they were courteous, gentle, professional and considerate. The Home Instead staff selected compatible caregivers for which I/we are most grateful.
2) Regarding the carers all of them were caring, innovative
and friendly. They were well prepared and punctual. They were sensitive to what was required on any one visit.
3) I consider them value for money.

All the staff are very helpful and caring. It is regular caregivers who visit my Mum which is especially important as she has memory problems and is not able to direct them. I find it extremely helpful having access to my Mum’s care plan via the app so I know which caregiver is going and how the visit
has gone. I would recommend them to others.

Planning care for those you love is difficult but working with the care team from the Home Instead (South Cheshire) continues to be a practical, adaptable and workable experience as is reduces the pressure from family members we collaborate together. The communication between us is faultless. The care
is first class and Mum enjoys the company of every visitor from the care team even referring to them as "friends".

From first contact I felt Home Instead genuinely cared about my relative. They were professional and prompt in our dealings and the caregivers who attended were well matched to my relative's requirements and interests. It was a weight off my mind knowing my relative was getting well looked after when
I couldn't be there, and it enabled her to continue to live independently in her own home, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Beverley Dodd

Job Title: Care Manager Joined: 2018

I joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care on the 8th January 2018, and loving my new challenge.


I have worked in Health and Social care since 1985, being employed by the NHS in various roles including, the Hospital, Assessments and Treatment, Respite, and Supported Living.


I left the NHS after 17 years to join Cheshire East Council as a House Manager, supporting adults living with Mental Health and Learning disabilities.


More recently I have managed services including Supported Living and Domiciliary Care.


As I have been in the Health Sector for many years, I have obtained a number of qualifications along the way, some are listed below is a selection.


Level 3 Diploma Health and Social Care, Higher Level 5 apprenticeship in Adult Social Care, Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care, Human Resources Management, Managing Absence, Disciplinary Hearing, Accredited Trainer in Fire Awareness (Train the Trainer), UKHCA CQC Providing Compliance, Managing Safety (105H), Level 3 Food Safety, Deprivation of Liberty.


I am looking forward to being part of the Home Instead team and helping to maintain the very high standards of care and support we deliver to our Clients.


When I have any spare time, I love spending it with my family and also enjoy holidaying in Tenerife.

Linda Taylor

Job Title: Recruitment, Retention and Training Officer Joined: 2018

Linda joined Home Instead in May 2018, following a career in Brand Management within the private sector, developing and managing categories within global, luxury, lifestyle brands.


Linda is also a qualified Angelic Reiki practitioner. It is through this that she decided to make a career change, having realised how much she loves working with people. Linda decided to join Home Instead, as she wanted to be part of a wonderfully passionate team that makes a difference in peoples lives. She definitely came to the right place.


Linda is married and blessed with 2 wonderful sons, 1 beautiful daughter-in-law, and a handsome grandson. She also has a young, very pretty, British short-haired blue cat named Mystique, who Linda and her family adore, even though Mystique defiantly wraps everyone around her little paw!


In her spare time, Linda loves spending time with family and friends, attending health and fitness training, meditation and visiting the theatre.

Susan

Susan Lomas

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor Joined: 2021

Sue has recently joined the Home Instead operations team in Nantwich having previously worked as a CAREGiver in South Cheshire.


Prior to joining Home Instead, Sue had a successful career in Sales and Customer Services, which means she brings many transferable skills to her current position, including empathy and great people skills, both of which are essential.


She really enjoys the dynamic of being a field supervisor as it allows her to support our team of CAREGivers, whilst still being able to go out and meet with clients in the community. Sue is also enjoying being part of our growing office team in Nantwich.


Sue lives locally and is extremely family-focused. She enjoys spending most of her personal time with her husband and her four children (she has 2 girls and 2 boys and also a grandson). She also enjoys socialising with friends and has a taste for both Indian and Chinese cuisine. She has an appreciation of a broad range of music and likes to travel.


Sue likes to travel and her favourite holiday destination is Tenerife, which she says has the right climate and balance of relaxation and social life.
