My frail mother received excellent care for the past 3 years with her needs increasing from daily one hour calls to three or four hours a day most recently. She had caregivers who suited her and were very kind and companionable. I particularly appreciated being able to contact out of hours any time if I was concerned, with me living far away. Most excellent service enabling my mother to live at home for so long, till age 92 and a half! Thank you!

My mother had Home Instead for approximately 6 months during which she was given excellent care throughout. The carers were thoroughly trained in all aspects of work e.g. rubbing in creams, looking out for bruises and sores, showering, dressing and lifting. My mother always looked forward to their 2 hourly visits, and with their help and company perked her up tremendously, especially during the lockdowns. Any new carer was introduced beforehand and my mother soon got used to all the faces and the routines. I cannot thank them enough, as it gave me peace of mind and it enabled her to stay in her flat that little bit longer.

I have always found Home Instead to be a genuinely caring care provider. My mother-in-law enjoys a good rapport with the carers who are always proactive, anticipate and head off problems before they arrive and are exceptionally good at keeping the family informed. The managers and carers were particularly helpful during a time of family bereavement. The carers often go above and beyond. Our experience has been very satisfactory indeed.

My father was discharged home after an eight-week period of hospitalisation followed by respite. During his absence, my mother's Alzheimer's took a rapid decline for the worst. They required a full POC at home. My father had sustained two previous strokes and more recently diagnosed with lung cancer. Home Instead cared for them only for a short period, but a very challenging one. They were caring and professional at all times, and extended their concerned approach towards myself, my husband and my brother. We are very grateful for all that they did.

Like having a family member showing constant care and concern within familiar household surroundings. Even when circumstances arise that show a lack of desire to maintain personal care then management support and reinforce a carers observations. Home Instead are not the first care agency that I experienced but they are undoubtedly the best!

Carers and staff are always friendly, courteous and have assisted with dignity. They never rush calls and regularly exceed the allotted hour. Office staff are also friendly and helpful. Any changes to rotas or timings are always communicated in advance, even when at the shortest of notice.

In all communications with the above senior care service, I have received nothing but politeness, friendliness and the willingness to address stressful situations. They have gone above and beyond what I expect and if there was any change in routine I was notified prior to the event and my mother introduced to new carers. As a family, we could not have managed without their support and I will be eternally grateful for their kindness and care.

I would certainly recommend Home Instead Senior Care (Crewe). My mum was very happy with their caregivers.
Always kind, caring and thoughtful.

If my mum hadn't moved to be near my sister in a home we would still be using Home Instead.

I have found Home Instead extremely professional, helpful and caring in all aspects of their service. They have a natural friendly attitude which in this type of service is essential. They also have taken the time to ascertain what interests and topics which are of interest to my mother so that interaction with her is real and genuine. Also, they try to whenever possible have the same carers to visit.

I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Senior Care to other potential clients.

No service is perfect but I, and my mother, found the quality of care good. The carers were all satisfactory and some were outstanding. There were some carers with whom my mother formed a particular bond and these were missed when they left the agency. The office staff tried their best and were friendly, though there were occasions when calls were not returned, and occasional structural changes caused confusion. Good value, though latterly the billing was inaccurate and had to be challenged.

We cannot sing everyone's praises enough, from the carers themselves to the office and management team. The care dad received was second to none and he was more than happy with whoever arrived to tend him.
All the team went about and beyond the line of duty and we feel we have new friends, very valued ones.
We will and have already, strongly recommend the agency.

The support to both dad and us as a family was truly exceptional. We will never be able to thank you enough. But from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

Linda Taylor Job Title: Recruitment, Retention and Training Officer Joined: 2018
Linda Taylor

Linda joined Home Instead in May 2018, following a career in Brand Management within the private sector, developing and managing categories within global, luxury, lifestyle brands.

Linda is also a qualified Angelic Reiki practitioner. It is through this that she decided to make a career change, having realised how much she loves working with people. Linda decided to join Home Instead, as she wanted to be part of a wonderfully passionate team that makes a difference in peoples lives. She definitely came to the right place.

Linda is married and blessed with 2 wonderful sons, 1 beautiful daughter-in-law, and a handsome grandson. She also has a young, very pretty, British short-haired blue cat named Mystique, who Linda and her family adore, even though Mystique defiantly wraps everyone around her little paw!

In her spare time, Linda loves spending time with family and friends, attending health and fitness training, meditation and visiting the theatre.

Susan Lomas Job Title: Field Care Supervisor Joined: 2021
Susan Lomas

Sue has recently joined the Home Instead operations team in Nantwich having previously worked as a CAREGiver in South Cheshire.

Prior to joining Home Instead, Sue had a successful career in Sales and Customer Services, which means she brings many transferable skills to her current position, including empathy and great people skills, both of which are essential.

She really enjoys the dynamic of being a field supervisor as it allows her to support our team of CAREGivers, whilst still being able to go out and meet with clients in the community. Sue is also enjoying being part of our growing office team in Nantwich.

Sue lives locally and is extremely family-focused. She enjoys spending most of her personal time with her husband and her four children (she has 2 girls and 2 boys and also a grandson). She also enjoys socialising with friends and has a taste for both Indian and Chinese cuisine. She has an appreciation of a broad range of music and likes to travel.

Sue likes to travel and her favourite holiday destination is Tenerife, which she says has the right climate and balance of relaxation and social life.
