Overall Experience

From the first phone call Home Instead were helpful, professional and proactive in making things happen to support us at a point in our lives when our father had gone into hospital and our mother was unable to live at home alone.
The care team were professional, thoughtful, kind and so caring, helping mum to stay at home with company and support. Nothing was too much trouble. She was safe and well looked after at all times. We were so grateful for them and they provided valuable advice and support to us as a family too.
The office staff were always happy to help and very quick to respond to any queries we had.

We would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead.

Overall Experience

We used Home Instead Bedford for a short 3 night stay while we were in the area on holiday with my Dad, and they were brilliant from the initial enquiry right through to the care provided.
It's rare to find a care provider that is happy to offer short-term care for someone they don't already know, so we were really grateful that they were able to support us. Before we arrived, they called to go through everything carefully with us and were so friendly and reassuring throughout.
Our carer, Sarah, was just excellent. She was always on time, treated Dad with such respect and dignity, and was incredibly kind and caring towards both him and our family. She made such a difference to our stay and gave us complete confidence that Dad was in safe hands.

We genuinely couldn't have asked for more and would absolutely recommend Home Instead Bedford. Thank you so much to Sarah and the whole team.

Overall Experience

Brilliant care service for over 2 years.
Always looking out for dad and his welfare.
The carers are very caring and interacting with dad to help him with his everyday chores around the house etc.
Flexible with the times especially when taking dad to his appointments and will accommodate changes, also will collect dad's prescriptions from the chemist and taking him out.
The office staff keep me updated with any changes and issues dad might have and also helping us by telling us what we need to do to help dad ie a keyring tracker being one example.

As a whole I think Home Instead is excellent and I don't think I would choose any other company.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provide care professionals three times a day to help with personal care and prepare meals. They are caring and diligent, reporting concerns if necessary, and have an excellent relationship with their client.
The office staff are also diligent and efficient when responding to any issues, and the allocation of regular carers ensures continuity.

An excellent service has been delivered at all times.

Overall Experience

Home Instead looked after my mum from Feb 2025 until Feb 2026. It ment that she could stay at home until her last month. Staying in her own home was exactly what mum wanted. Home Instead carers enabled this. The carers went above and beyond for her. Nothing was too much trouble. She developed close relationships with many of the carers. They dealt with many personal problems with professionalism and sensitivity. This made her feel she could trust them. I cannot recommend Home Instead more highly.

I use home instead usually when I need a sitter for my husband when I go out usually in the evening.
The sitter arrive on time and always very polite and friendly towards my husband

They make him cups of coffee and are able to engage him in conversations

Overall Experience

The two carers my dad has are superb. They are attentive and caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. They arrive on time every day they are booked for andifthey are likely to be late, I get a phone call.
The office staff are brilliant, every time we ask them a question they answer in a way that is easy to understand. They are always available as well at any time.

I dont have the vocabulary to explain how good this company is in looking after my father's needs

Overall Experience

Carers are excellent, particularly appreciate the continuity of carers, so that they build up a relationship with their client. They also adopt little nuances of routine or care in each home. The carers genuinely care. Also appreciate changes to care, e.g., additional care occasionally required on Saturdays. Office staff excellent at dealing with queries in a timely manner. Overall, excellent service.

It went very well. We went into mums bedroom to say hello. Tina and I then went through the review questions. Mum and myself are both very happy with the care provided. Rotas have been flexible at the times we have required changes. We chose Home Instead Luton about a year ago as we received a referral from two separate friends who also use your services. We realised we needed to assign extra care for my mum. Also you had a good cqc rating. A year on, This still stands that we would still chose Home Instead. The level of care we have received for mum has been great. Both mum is reassured by her level of care and I am pleased by the empathy shown to mum whilst still letting her remain in control of her lifestyle and being respectful for my mum. Also Home Instead are flexible with mums needs which has meant we can adapt to her level of care and needs without her feeling any change and keep consistency for her. It has also given support to us and my mum. There is also a positive level of trust and respect shown to mum.

Home Instead have been providing excellent care for my mother in law for many years and she is very happy with her team of professional caregivers who provide outstanding compassionate care. Whenever her care needs change requiring extra hours Home Instead's professional friendly office staff are always willing to provide extra calls even at short notice which family are also grateful to them for organising. Definitely one hundred percent recommend Home Instead they are reliable office staff and management are professional and approachable.

Home Instead has provided care for my mum over the past couple of years. The care she has received has been of a consistently high standard, and she has come to view the carers as friends. The carers have demonstrated patience and empathy while being good listeners and responding to mums ndees. They have been a great support to me, giving me the opportunity to have time out from my caring role. The management and administration staff have also been excellent and a pleasure to deal with.

Home Instead have been absolutely wonderful in caring for my elderly mum and dad. From the very beginning, they have shown genuine kindness, professionalism, and respect, not just to my parents but to our whole family.
The carers are reliable, patient, and incredibly compassionate. They take the time to really understand my parents' needs and routines, and they treat them with dignity and warmth at all times. It's clear they don't see this as "just a job" - they truly care.
Communication has been excellent, and knowing my parents are safe, comfortable, and well looked after gives us huge peace of mind. The support Home Instead provide has made such a positive difference to my parents' quality of life, and to ours as a family.
