I cannot recommend this service highly enough. My brother and I were struggling to find a solution to the day-to-day care requirements for our Mum. The staff were very professional and caring and enabled our mum to continue living in her own home for longer.

Friednly, reliable staff who supplied 1-week respite care. They listened to what Dad wanted help with and Dad enjoyed their company. I am currently seeing if Home Instead could care for Dad on a regular basis.

We have used Home Instead carers for my Mum who has dementia for our 4-night respite breaks several times now and been very satisfied with the care she was given considering Mum can be very rude and awkward at times because of her condition, age and mobility!
Our most recent break this month and also
cover for a wedding we attended went extremely well and made it possible for us to enjoy the breaks knowing Mum was being looked after so well!

We were impressed with Home Instead staff. They always attended on time and were always friendly and courteous. Most importantly they remembered what was agreed to be done from the previous day. They provided care and 'Peace of Mind' for my wife as she was very worried as to how to deal with my care
since my hospital discharge last month.

Mum was with Home Instead for around six months, and during that time, the care she received was excellent. The team who supported her were caring and kind. They took time to get to know Mum, listen to her needs and chat with her about anything and everything Mum wanted to talk about. The little touches
they gave showed her dignity and their level of commitment was exceptional. The support they gave to me was also beyond anything I would have expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or see them again.

During my husband's 17 months with Home Instead, he was treated exceptionally well by his carers and looked forward to his weekly visits. He formed a great friendship with them. It was peace of mind for me knowing that I could go out for a few hours without worrying. In our time of need both the management
and carers were there to support us for which we are immensely grateful.

Excellent support had been given to my mother over the past couple of years. Any concerns were dealt with promptly and sensitively. Changes in the care package were promptly put in place.
Mum's care team were fantastic and Mum is now in a care home, but still talks about her wonderful team.

I have absolutely no negatives with my carers. They are very pleasant and helpful and treat me with the greatest dignity and respect. They are here every morning on the dot and sometimes I think they go beyond their job. Very happy.

I found Home Instead (Luton & Central Beds) to be very good with her care for the last 18 months. She really enjoyed the company of the carers and they never let us down, always in attendance. I would recommend them to anyone who needs care at home. Unfortunately, my sister has a fractured hip and has

My clinical practice over the years has helped forge strong personal and professional values that are in line with Home Instead’s core value of client-centred care.


My personal experience of looking after a parent with dementia, as well as my professional work as a specialist in dementia care, has allowed me to understand the importance of promoting the client’s independence and ability to make choices, even in the face of the odds and challenges they might be facing, as a consequence of poor health.


My experience and values from clinical practice will be brought to bear in providing overarching leadership to the franchise as it continues to further its vision of providing care to the highest standards, in our local communities of Hitchin, Letchworth, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages.
