The introduction of carers prior to commencing care is appreciated.
During the month of April, Home Instead went over and above in caring for my father when he became poorly, staying with us from tea time until late evening. Our experience of the carers/staff at Home Instead Luton has been everything and more than you would wish for a loved one to remain in his own home.
Always reliable, keeping to time and communicating well. I've found the caregivers go above and beyond what is required of them and we are so appreciative. They have dealt with some difficult situations with patience and good humour.
Very pleased and easy to talk to the staff who are very helpful. All good thanks.
A caring, reliable service.
All of them give excellent care and are very considerate to mum's needs and her worries.
After mum (his full-time carer) became unwell and was moved into a nursing home, we had no alternative but to look for daily help for dad. At the grand age of 92 things were becoming quite a challenge for him at times.
We used the services of two other companies before we were recommended Home Instead. What a relief when they took over.
The carers were full of humanity, each were so caring, compassionate and incredibly supportive, not just towards dad but to the whole family. Despite the fact that dad couldn't remember their names, we know he looked forward to their visits and enjoyed the daily banter and chatter.
Towards the end of his life, dad's health had started to deteriorate. His wonderful carers were so attentive and receptive to the changes in his day to day health, he always received the best medical interventions to make sure that he was comfortable at all times.
Sadly dad has now passed away, but we remain forever thankful to all the smiling faces of his carers.
The caregivers for this company are second to none. I cannot praise them enough. Due to my wife's Alzheimer's (8 years now) she relies on them for her washing, dressing and moving, she is out of bed only 5 hours day. A few months ago the office did have a few problems with incorrect invoices but this has now been put right.
As a family we had provided 24 hour care for mum for six years. As she became more disorientated and frail we began to struggle. After looking at residential care I didn't think mum would cope with so many people around. Home Instead really reassured us that with their help we would cope with her staying at home. Straight away they got to really know mum and her needs so it was with relief that we were able to step back from some of the harder care needs and concentrate on making her last few months full of love in calm surroundings. I can't thank then enough. Dignified and respectful care.
The lovely ladies from Home Instead have been caring for my dad for the last 3 months. They are friendly, warm, receptive and nothing is too much trouble. My dad is extremely happy with the service provided and looks forward to the visits. We would happily recommend this company to anyone interested in this service provision. Thank you.
We have used Home Instead Senior Care for my mother, starting with a small level of companionship care now increasing to 7 days a week twice a day. Home Instead Senior Care have accommodated every step of the way and the carers they have sent have generally been regular ones with occasional changes when there have been staffing issues.
All the carers are extremely polite, helpful and caring. Always available.

Meet the Team (9)
Hello, I’m Femi, the owner of Home Instead in Luton & Central Bedfordshire. I have a 22-year background in medical practice, specialising in mental health. My clinical practice over the years has helped forge strong personal and professional values that are in line with Home Instead’s core value of client-centred care.
My personal experience of looking after a parent with dementia, as well as my professional work as a specialist in dementia care, has allowed me to understand the importance of promoting the client’s independence and ability to make choices, even in the face of the odds and challenges they might be facing, as a consequence of poor health.
My experience and values from clinical practice will be brought to bear in providing overarching leadership to the franchise as it continues to further its vision of providing care to the highest standards, in our local communities of Hitchin, Letchworth, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages.
My aim as Registered Manager is to create a safe, compassionate, and well-led service where clients receive exceptional, personalised care and care pros are supported to thrive, grow, and deliver care they can be proud of - ensuring Home Instead remains a trusted and outstanding provider within the community. I am a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enables people to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. With extensive experience within Home Instead, I bring a deep understanding of the organisation's ethos and the importance of building trusted, meaningful relationships between clients, families, and care pros. I am known for my supportive leadership style, passionate about developing confident, well-trained care pros who feel valued and empowered in their roles. I lead with integrity, professionalism, and empathy, ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards while meeting all regulatory and safeguarding requirements. I also place a strong emphasis on continuity of care, dignity and respect, believing that outstanding care starts with listening and truly understanding each individual's needs, preferences, and life story.
I began my career in care 12 years ago as an Activities Coordinator. Since then, I have progressed through a variety of roles, including Senior Day Care Assistant, Head of Care, and Deputy Manager, gaining valuable experience across all aspects of care and support.
From an early age, I knew I wanted to work with older people and make a positive difference in their lives. I am passionate about helping each client live as independently and fully as possible, and I feel privileged to work alongside a dedicated team that shares the same commitment to delivering outstanding care.
In my current role as Client Experience Manager, I support our team in providing the highest standards of person-centred care while ensuring every client enjoys a positive, meaningful, and fulfilling experience each day. Building strong relationships with clients and their families is at the heart of what I do, and I take great pride in creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
I aim to train and educate you so that you can feel safe, supported and confident when visiting your clients in the local community.
My Why: was my dad. When I was young, every school holiday I used to go to work with him and help. Christmas days were spent at the care home dishing up dinner and giving out presents, whilst my mum was cooking our dinner. It gave me a passion for this industry, which never went away and was always what I was going to do.
To ensure smooth, efficient, and person-centred scheduled that balances the needs of both our clients and Care Professionals. Ensure every client and Care Professional feels valued, respected, and listened to by handling each scheduling interaction with empathy and accuracy. I believe that a well-organised schedule enables us to deliver the best possible care by minimising delays and responding quickly to changes.
The first point of contact for both Care Professionals and Clients is to provide an exceptional service by both listening to and understanding the caller’s needs. To be part of a great team who are compassionate, caring and understanding of each individual client's needs. Knowing that we make a positive difference to our clients and families' lives motivates me in my day-to-day role.
To deliver training administration with integrity, consistency, and care, ensuring learning is well organised, accessible, and fully compliant with organisational and regulatory standards. Kelly entered adult social care during the COVID-19 pandemic as a Care Professional, gaining first-hand experience of delivering care in a highly pressured and constantly changing environment.
Since then, Kelly has held several key player roles at Home Instead, including scheduling and client management, which has given her a wide and varied knowledge base across training, compliance, and operational practice. She is committed to upholding integrity in all aspects of training administration through accurate record-keeping, clear communication, and reliable processes. She values teamwork and works collaboratively with colleagues, the training team, and the registered manager to support a positive learning environment where everyone feels informed and supported. By ensuring training requirements are met and compliance is maintained, she helps protect both staff and the people we support. She believes strong training foundations-built on trust, accountability and collaboration-enable individuals and teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
