Mum's caregivers are a very caring group, interested in her safety and welfare, and are very quick to alert me of any problems or worries. Mum likes them all and values their company and their time with her.

The renew focused on client -family experience as service user. The agency actively seeks to meet our needs and responsive to our concerns and flexible in changing care depending on needs. The staff are polite, they demonstrate they care and show respect and dignity at all times.
They clearly work
together as a team and endeavour to use a "core" set of staff so relationships can be built.
The telephone support service and admin are effective and efficient and when a call is made, they always respond in an understanding and supportive manner.

From October 2016 Home Instead have helped with the care of my husband who has dementia. In all that time, I have nothing but praise for the dedication of all their team. The carers were assigned and the continuity of the same people looking after my husband has helped greatly. They are all punctual,
arriving with a smile and totally dependable. The office staff are always there for me if I should need them for any support.

My wife suffers from dementia for the last 6 years. The whole team, office staff and the carers, are very professional and take their duties seriously. They go that extra mile to accommodate your needs. The carers are the best I have come across. We love them, they are very kind, considerate, lovable
people.

Reliable, efficient, polite, kind and adaptable.
We could not have managed without the staff of Home Instead.
Mum and dad consider the 'girls' to be personal friends and looked forward to their visits.

During the month of April, Home Instead went over and above in caring for my father when he became poorly, staying with us from tea time until late evening. Our experience of the carers/staff at Home Instead Luton has been everything and more than you would wish for a loved one to remain in his own

We have 3 carers who work on a rota, looking after my mum with Alzheimer's, Dementia and severe osteoporosis.
All of them give excellent care and are very considerate to mum's needs and her worries.

Excellent seems such a non-descript word to use to describe the quality of care provided by the team at Home Instead Luton.
After mum (his full-time carer) became unwell and was moved into a nursing home, we had no alternative but to look for daily help for dad. At the grand age of 92 things were
becoming quite a challenge for him at times.
We used the services of two other companies before we were recommended Home Instead. What a relief when they took over.
The carers were full of humanity, each were so caring, compassionate and incredibly supportive, not just towards dad but to the whole family. Despite the fact that dad couldn't remember their names, we know he looked forward to their visits and enjoyed the daily banter and chatter.
Towards the end of his life, dad's health had started to deteriorate. His wonderful carers were so attentive and receptive to the changes in his day to day health, he always received the best medical interventions to make sure that he was comfortable at all times.
Sadly dad has now passed away, but we remain forever thankful to all the smiling faces of his carers.

The caregivers for this company are second to none. I cannot praise them enough. Due to my wife's Alzheimer's (8 years now) she relies on them for her washing, dressing and moving, she is out of bed only 5 hours day. A few months ago the office did have a few problems with incorrect invoices but this
has now been put right.

As a family we had provided 24 hour care for mum for six years. As she became more disorientated and frail we began to struggle. After looking at residential care I didn't think mum would cope with so many people around. Home Instead really reassured us that with their help we would cope with her staying
at home. Straight away they got to really know mum and her needs so it was with relief that we were able to step back from some of the harder care needs and concentrate on making her last few months full of love in calm surroundings. I can't thank then enough. Dignified and respectful care.

We have used Home Instead Senior Care for my mother, starting with a small level of companionship care now increasing to 7 days a week twice a day. Home Instead Senior Care have accommodated every step of the way and the carers they have sent have generally been regular ones with occasional changes
when there have been staffing issues.

My clinical practice over the years has helped forge strong personal and professional values that are in line with Home Instead’s core value of client-centred care.


My personal experience of looking after a parent with dementia, as well as my professional work as a specialist in dementia care, has allowed me to understand the importance of promoting the client’s independence and ability to make choices, even in the face of the odds and challenges they might be facing, as a consequence of poor health.


My experience and values from clinical practice will be brought to bear in providing overarching leadership to the franchise as it continues to further its vision of providing care to the highest standards, in our local communities of Hitchin, Letchworth, Stevenage and surrounding towns and villages.
