Quite satisfied with carers. Company is good at communicating with me re any changes to days/times or personnel. Found staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

My husband's visits have been excellent, interesting and challenging. Our only problems have been with administration. Getting in touch with scheduling at short notice has been difficult and the finance team have not returned calls despite several attempts at emails, passed messages and phone calls. We were debited with over £1000 in August without an invoice, explanation or refund. There is still no response.

Mum has Alzheimer's, is 91 and lives alone. Although her cognitive ability is now quite compromised, her zest for life and her need to be 'up and out' hasn't diminished. HI befrienders attend twice a week and it has lessened the feelings of guilt/worry that the family feel when Mum can't be seen by one of us. The befrienders are prompt, friendly and knowing how Mum's been and what she's done via their updated notes on the app keeps us informed of her time spent with them. If, on occasion, an alternative befriender needs to visit Mum, the Co-ordinating Team contact us in advance so that we can prepare Mum for this which is helpful. Mum's Care Plan contains lots of info that we've been encouraged to add to as required to suit Mum's changing needs and also to share things she enjoys doing. Communication with the office is clear and response times to queries are quick. We're very pleased with the service and feel reassured Mum is in good hands with the care provided by Home Instead.

They take a huge amount of stress off my shoulders for which I am very grateful. Mum has male and female carers and each plays to their strengths . The different approaches provides stimulus which has allowed Mum to remain at home.

Sadly, he passed away in February of this year and I realised the importance of maintaining the care that was provided as I also required care and companionship. Home Instead match the carer to the client as much as possible and I have a great rapport and friendship with my carer. We have a regular team of carers who carry out their tasks professionally and with great care. They are always on time , cheerful and all clearly enjoy what they do. We just have a teatime visit but the companionship they provide is almost as important as the meal itself . The details of every visit are put on the app which is very useful as to how they found her that day , if she hadn't eaten lunch etc or any concerns . We are always notified by the office if a time or carer is going to be different for any reason and have always found the admin staff very helpful and accommodating . We would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead

I now have the ladies from Home Instead coming in once a week to help with showering and some light housework. This gives my daughter a break but she knows I'm in safe, friendly hands. The ladies are all helpful and thoughtful, willing to help and good fun. Best idea I have had to ask them to return on a regular basis.

We had Otega as a live in carer for my Mum who has dementia for 2 weeks and she was lovely with Mum, doing everything for her and learning to trust Otega. You could see how much Otega was naturally caring with my Mum and treated her very well and with the utmost patience too, thank you.
