I now have the ladies from Home Instead coming in once a week to help with showering and some light housework. This gives my daughter a break but she knows I'm in safe, friendly hands. The ladies are all helpful and thoughtful, willing to help and good fun. Best idea I have had to ask them to return on a regular basis.

It was lovely to see how much care and attention was given to my friend, it was like they really understood her individual and personal needs. I know this made a huge difference to how settled and well she was able to feel. Thank you.

We had Otega as a live in carer for my Mum who has dementia for 2 weeks and she was lovely with Mum, doing everything for her and learning to trust Otega. You could see how much Otega was naturally caring with my Mum and treated her very well and with the utmost patience too, thank you.

Homeinstead was recommended by a friend of my 88 year old Aunt who needed home care from April 2025 after a formal diagnosis of dementia. I am based in London, she in Glasgow, so knowing that a carer would visit daily provided peace of mind. She enjoyed the visits and the company and quickly became used to the care team. The office kept me informed of her well being and the app provided a useful track of what each visit entailed. My Aunt has recently moved to a care home so the service has been discontinued however I would be happy to recommend Homeinstead to others who need care for a relative. With regard to the cancelling of the service there is a 4 week notice period. I appreciate that for any business having clients change/cancel appointments at the last moment is a challenge and they clearly have a right to charge. I think however that 4 weeks notice is quite a lot given the age/health of their clients for whom unexpected events can occur at short notice.

I would absolutely recommend them as a safe and reliable service .

Home instead provided care pro to my mother for nearly 4 years. We were promised quality carers, good compatibility and full management. All we needed to do was visit. It took best part of 3 years during which numerous carers were provided who were totally the opposite. There was a general lack of communication with the company and an apparent high turnover of office staff. Through 3 years of trial and error, but mainly the latter, two very good carers were eventually found and supported my mother till the end. Unfortunately in the last 15 months of our relationship with the company the finance department were completely incompetent through lack of invoicing, communication, notification of cost increases, clarification of expenses and a change in payment procedure.

So in brief - a lot of perseverance, a lot of stress, a lot of broken promises, incompetent senior management and overall in my opinion, poor value for money. I can only say thank goodness for the two girls (carers)

My mother has received care from Home Instead for that last 4 years. Over that time she has met a number of the care professionals who have all been excellent with her and treat her with kindness and dignity. Her needs have changed over that period and Home Instead office staff have been very understanding of this and have accommodated visit changes - prioritising care professionals that she is familiar with, which is so important for someone living with dementia.

She developed a very close bond with her main care professional who is just fabulous .This has been a great comfort to our family as she has spent time with mum and we have been able to relax knowing she is in such good hands - and that they are enjoying their time together.

We would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to other families - thankyou all!

Wonderful service provided for my grandad at such a short notice, carers very knowledgeable and professional and admin very empathetic. Great support at such a difficult time, especially with how prompt they organised everything!

Staff were incredibly helpful in answering any queries I had about care for my father, were incredibly attentive and patient with him.

Staff made the entire process quick and smooth and went above and beyond to help my father during visits.

Overall, I feel much more supported and less worried knowing I have this help in place.

Home Instead offer a very reliable and efficient service and keep me as the the solicitor/attorney of the person in need of care fully informed and re-assured that the cover is round the clock. The care pro's all seem to be very friendly and have a very mice manner with the person being cared for

Home Instead provided a care professional to provide companionship for my husband who was housebound. This service was greatly appreciated by us both and we looked forward to our carer coming every week. She had a cheery outlook and was very helpful and kind and we had a nice, friendly relationship with her. Sadly my husband passed away, however, as I did not want to lose the carer, I decided to continue with the service for myself.

The team have all been amazing, we have had such a positive experience and everyone has been very caring, compassionate and person centred. The care and support my Mum has been receiving has given me reassurance and ensured I have much more quality time with my parents. Thank you to all

Home Instead are by far the best care service provider ive delt with, from office staff elidh elona alsion always there at the other end of a call to help with anything nothing is ever a bother, all 3 ladies have went above and beyond for myself and my aunty, Leonard and sadyia are amazing care pros, who both myself and aunty have a great relationship with, always so kind and caring u can tell they love there job
