My Dad had been receiving care from Home Instead for a while now (since 2025). We are very happy with the service. Being housebound, and knowing he will see a trusted carer twice a week as I live in another county is such a relief. Cynthia is really good and the fact the Home Instead worry about assigning carers based upon interests and personality types speaks wonders as getting on well with the person caring for you is such an important part of the care service. He likes Rebecca also, who he has when Cynthia is on holiday. Top notch service from a company that cares.

Having access to the visit notes via the app has been brilliant, I can always be up to date with what has been happening.

Am I happy with the level of service? Yes, definitely. Would I recommend Home Instead to friends? Absolutely, no hesitation.

Home Instead (Mid Cornwall) truly deserve their recent Outstanding award from the CQC. Having dealt with a number of care agencies , I can honestly say this team are in a league of their own. My 93yr old aunt lives in our family home so, as much as Home Instead care for my aunt, we all needed to be comfortable with the care givers coming in to our home - and we are! The office team do a great job in responding to any changes we need to make. They are thorough in their record keeping and ensuring that all care givers know of changes to medications or tasks. The care givers are all genuinely caring people who work hard on every visit to make my aunt feel comfortable and safe. They always arrive at the time agreed, follow the routines in detail and above all offer dignity, respect and compassion. We particularly appreciate that we have a core team of carers, each one introduced on a shadow visit before coming alone. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have nothing but praise for Home Instead (Mid Cornwall). As Dad's sole carer, when I had an accident and broke my ankle, I was so worried about how we would manage. I completed the enquiry form on the Home Instead web site on a Saturday afternoon and Patrick called me straight back despite being on holiday himself! A care package was put in place the following week and it was such a relief all round. The team were all reliable, efficient and caring. Dad was introduced to each new carer in turn which was very reassuring. Each individual carer brought a breath of fresh air into the house with their cheerful manner. The care plan was tailored to Dad's changing needs. When he was admitted into a hospital, a 40 minute drive away from his home, arrangements were made for his familiar carers to visit him. I highly recommend Home Instead (Mid Cornwall), they truly provide outstanding care in every way.

Our experience with Richard and his team has been exceptional. All staff were professional and caring at all times . Although our time with the company was short. Nothing was too much trouble for Richard to accomodate the needs of my mother which reflected through the care of his team. I cannot thank everyone enough for there kindness and care shown to my Mother . I would deffinatly reccomend the company anyone in the future

This is first class quality care. I am so pleased we have found these lovely carers to look after my dad, at 86 years old, in his home. He now looks forward to them arriving and they have formed their own relationships with my dad as they see him on a regular basis. The daily communication is invaluable as dad, since his stroke, isn't able to tell us who he's seen as his short term memory is not good now. I can check in on my phone to see how his day is going. It is easy to ask for weekend cover and assistance to medical appts and trips to the shops. His needs are changing and that is also something that is easy to communicate and acted upon quickly by the team. I cannot recommend enough.

As family with power of attorney we are always kept up to date with care and any issues.

We were very satisfied with the service provided. The companionship care package was excellent for providing my mother with some company and mental stimulation. The carers also helped with some food preparation and other small tasks around the house.

About 3 years ago,we desperately needed to find a care provider for my Mum.Home Instead were the only ones that could provide that care straight away which was a huge relief as I live hundreds of miles away.They quickly made Mum feel at ease and adapted to her specific wants and needs.She was treated as an individual with absolute respect and kindness.Soon afterwards we needed help for my Dad too and the team at Home Instead bent over backwards to put an extra care package in for Dad as well.My Dad was very resistant to the help initially but their patience, good humour and total empathy put him at ease.They kept us up to date with great communication,reacting and adapting to every little change that occurred with Mum and Dad's needs.Sadly Dad passed away 6 months later but we all felt so supported throughout that time.Home Instead remain with Mum to this day and allow her to remain independent and happy in her own home.Thank you to all the team, but especially Sandra, who's amazing!

Home Instead have put our minds at ease from the very start from enquiring about my grans needs, supplying us with as much information about what they can provide and how they can cater for us best. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When it came to setting up the care plan to suit my grans needs, every detail was taken care of. We're now a few months down the line and we still cannot fault them. They email us with any queries and never hesitate to call and we all sleep easier at night knowing gran has an excellent care package in place. They are always contactable, even out of hours if we ever need to get hold of them.

Home Instead (Mid Cornwall) provides truly outstanding care in your own home. All of the carers that work with Mum are very professional and efficient, but also incredibly kind, friendly and sensitive. The care given is very much tailored to the individual and the carers are happy to pitch in wherever needed. They are totally reliable, always arriving on time, as scheduled. Mum genuinely enjoys the visits, as the carers not only get the job done, but are also lovely people to chat to - there are plenty of laughs! The staff in the office are very helpful and supportive, easy to contact and very flexible when needed. Mum is delighted with the care she is receiving and we would not hesitate to recommend the team.

The care and attention given to my parents is very good. The care team engage fully with both mum and dad. They cope with my dad's occasional odd sense of humour and both parents are very pleased with the care given. My sisters and I live over 300 miles away and have come to rely on the daily reports we receive. Any issues we have are dealt with quickly and professionally by the manager and the team. We could not ask for more.

I remember being daunted and nervous about arranging care for my mum after a fall and a spell in hospital. When I contacted Home Instead I knew I had found the right provider. They understood my mother's needs, were professional and made sure my parents were comfortable with the care that was being provided. All the carers were excellent, and a delight to get to know. They focused on mum's needs and the daily communication provided me with a full understanding on how she was progressing. After awhile my dad also needed some care which Home Instead provided, at times this was challenging care but all the carers supported mum and dad wonderfully until eventually my parents needs required 24 hour care in a care home. If you are hesitating to contact Home Instead, don't hesitate anymore, you will be pleased and relieved that you made the call.

From our father's point of view he has a consistent team who have really got to know him and who care for his needs in a dignified and professional manner enabling him to remain at home for as long as possible and most importantly they make him laugh.
