I got Home Instead involved with my parents care when my mum was being discharged from hospital.My dad was very lonely while mum was away from home for 8 weeks and despite my whole family's best efforts we needed extra support.Dad has stage 1 Alzeimers disease but is otherwise well despite slow growing
secondary skin cancer.He loves seeing the Care Pros and enjoys there company.Mum is fiercely independent but is slowly adjusting to much needed support as time is going on.She is slowly realising that she can't do it all due to physical limitations and health issues.She has been quite depressed after a lengthy hospital stay and has struggled to adjust to being back home again.The care pros have been very patient with her and have tried to support mum in all the things that she wants to do rather than do it all for her.She really values this.I have now got more time for myself in between my work and my own family commitments and social life.I would recommend Home Instead BCP.

Both my husband & I are happy with the service provided although we have had to get used to a fair few new carers recently.It takes a few visits from someone new for them to discover our needs but once we gat to know each other it is fine.

I can't say enough good things about the support the team at Home Instead provides. The carers are kind, reliable, and genuinely make a difference on the days they visit. We have increased my mother's care to include two additional hours of personal care specifically to help with showering. This has been very successful and my mother really enjoys her visits from Deb who has a great relationship with her. This is very reassuring for the family. Many thanks to the team
for helping us arrange the increased care so quickly.

From the moment we made a tentative enquiry about the possibility of having a few hours home care for my mother some three years ago, Home Instead have been very professional and efficient and have provided an excellent service throughout . All the carers who visited my mother were honest, trustworthy,
friendly, reliable and caring. As she got older, my mother required additional care and Home Instead were always there to meet her needs as her requirements changed.

Home Instead have provided an excellent service. With living a living a long distance away, Home Instead have been more than helpful with arranging various appointments when I have asked the service provider to telephone their office. The carers themselves look after my mother so well. With other
services from Home Instead, they have put my mind at rest on many occasions, because of the distance. since Home Instead began providing care for my mother last August, 2024, I have nothing but praise for their diligence, something I don't very often think or say.

My mother's carers have been kind and caring. They are helpful, despite my mother's occasional resistance. Consistency is critical. As she gets to know them and trust them, she depends on them more. Their supervisor has been very helpful and accessible when I have had special requests.

I cannot speak highly enough of this care organisation. They have an efficient and caring office team who have bent over backwards to support our needs Their care professionals all bring something extra to their role but also do an excellent expertise in quality care provision. They offer a real understanding
of the needs of the client and family members supporting him. Their whole approach is highly professional but also deeply caring and friendly.

My husband and I are the only relatives available to support our elderly relative who lives in Dorset and we live in Yorkshire! The support from Home Instead has kept us sane! The care and constancy of the carers meant that Auntie could stay in her much-loved home for two more years after the death
of her husband. The support and friendship for Auntie have been exemplary - and the staff have been marvellous in their liaison with ourselves so that together we could ensure health and happiness. More recently, continuing guidance and support has made the necessary transition to a Care Home worry-free. Brilliant! Thank you!

The care provided by the Home Instead carers was of a very high quality. I was really happy with their professionalism, the relationships they developed with my mother, and the activities they suggested for her. They were well able to manage the challenges her Alzheimer's presented, while still supporting
her to live as independently as possible, and to make sure that she enjoyed life.
The office staff were friendly and helpful, and all of them seemed to know my mum. Any problems we encountered were handled quickly and professionally.

We used Home Instead during June, July and part of August 2024 until my husband was taken into hospital. We were visited by agency members who talked through our needs and gave us helpful advice. We had support twice a week to make my job as a carer easier.
The Home Instead carers were excellent, helpful
and thorough and efficient - they were a pleasure to have in our home. We felt they had been specially chosen to fit into our lifestyle. Thank you Home Instead, I have absolutely no reservations about recommending you to others.

Home Instead has provided quality care and assistance to my aunt, whose life circumstances have changed significantly in the past year, requiring more intensive care whilst still remaining at home. The management and staff have been very responsive to their client's circumstances and requests and have
tailored their management plan to cater, as best as possible, to my aunt's needs. I was visiting the UK and during the short period we were in the area, we were able to meet with Home Instead and put in place a care plan that would cater for my aunt's future needs as and when they arose. The management team have continued to impress with their careful handling of a number of tricky issues along the way, each of which have been professionally managed and dealt with. Although I live overseas, Home Instead have been very forthcoming in keeping me informed of current issues, for which I am very grateful. Home Instead are doing a great job. Highly recommend!

All round excellent and unique organisation that specialises in enabling people needed care to stay independent at home for as long as possible. Very rapid response, great staff, both carers and management - Home Instead personnel were able to step in at short notice, in difficult circumstances to put
in place an at-home care package that's been great for my family. Easy to navigate, transparent paperwork - very down-to-earth, hands-on and adaptive method - able to respond to evolving situations. Experienced and lovely carers, more like friends and family. Many thanks to the staff behind the scenes and all the carers who get a good balance of efficiency and compassion, and endless patience and humour. So far so good. I would (and have) recommend Home Instead to anyone needing support at home. Thank you.

I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Home Instead following a spell in hospital with a broken pelvis and wrist. I have been lucky to have one carer for all the visits. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we have formed a red friendship. Thank you, Home Instead.

We were able to get the care in place in a short space of time which provided peace of mind at a difficult time.

I share a house and care for a 74-year-old friend. As children, we lived around the corner from each other and have known each other ever since. I was his best man and am his son's godfather. My friend has Alzheimer's in its early stages and mobility issues. He also has incontinent bowels and a catheter.
I found helping him shower, getting him into clean incontinence pants and helping him dress in the mornings difficult. Since last autumn, Home Instead has been coming in for an hour each morning to do it for us. They also change his bedding when required and his catheter day bag every week. They are unfailingly cheerful. They normally don't need the full hour and will stop and chat when finished. They show interest in both of our backgrounds, hobbies and interests.
